Whilst we stayed at NRMA Breakwall for two weeks, awesome Park by the way, we joined Westport Sports Club. We are returning to Port Mac for a house and pet sit in two months and shall be here for another four weeks. This is a great club to be a member of whilst here. The views from any venue are awesome as all windows face Hastings River and the Sailing Boats anchored there. The club has an ala carte restaurant, a Bistro, large Bar and Lounge, and gaming amongst others. The menu extensive and varied enough, with something for everyone. The atmosphere is great in all venues and have all the staff we interacted with to be attentive and respectful, always with a smile. Cannot recomend this club enough.

Welcoming, friendly and approachable staff!! From the moment we stepped in the Westport Club on the 14/01/2024 we were greeted by happy, welcoming and kind staff. They were able to cater for our large group of 8 adults and 12 children that entered the club 50 mins before the kitchen closed. The service was friendly and efficient. The delicious food was prepared in record time. While the staff graciously conversed with the adults as well as the children in our group. I would definitely recommend the Westport Club to anyone!

Walked out. Nothing on menue that we felt like (our issue, not the restaurants). Way too crowded and noisy for us. Plenty there obviously enjoying, just right for us that night.

Very accommodating for dinner with a full restaurant as took our name down, only a 15-minute wait. Advise to book in advance as per website. Very luxurious feel to the Club, with water views at restaurant. Lovely staff all round, at reception welcoming us, restaurant booking (GM) great front man, and from a lady took a family photo of us as we waited. You guys in the kitchen are the stars, the open kitchen layout you can see it was a huge night, with all those dinner ticket orders. We had three tasty cooked to perfection Angus scotch fillet steaks and a chicken parmigiana. Thank you Westport Club.

Toughest battered fish ever eaten with cold chips & the pulled pork was dry and flavour less. The glassware was so scratchy and worn with one glass even chipped. Definitely needs better management. The views and location are terrific, shame every thing else lets it down. Wouldn’t recommend!

This club sucks….the doorman welcomes you like it’s your privilege to be let into the place & the bar is a kilometre away from the bowling greens… Never mind the massive flight of stairs you have to manage your drinks down to get there…. Not a happy welcoming experience… Go elsewhere….anywhere that makes you feel appreciated… This club is the worst

The Westport Club in Port Macquarie offers a delightful dining experience, catering to a group of four visitors from Sydney. The club's inviting atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming environment. The meals, both for dinner and lunch, stood out with their great taste, showcasing the culinary excellence of the establishment. This positive encounter has left a lasting impression, making it a definite choice for future visits to Port Macquarie. I highly recommend the Westport Club for those seeking a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

The service from the hostess Karen was lovely as we sat down. We can not fault her in the slightest.... The food came out not even 5minutes after ordering (this is not even an exaggeration). It sounds great to have recieved such fast service however, this was our warning sign. Medium rare steak ordered - cooked well done. Pork Belly was dry as the Sahara dessert, the mash potato to go with it had way too much salt. Chips came out cold and the Mushroom Arrancini tasted as tho it had no mushroom. Save your time and money and go elsewhere if you want decent food! Edit** My 2year old was taken via ambulance to the hospital with food poisoning and I emailed Westport back as requested but they have not yet bothered to respond.

Stopped here for some dinner on Christmas Day. The food was decent and the service prompt. Good AC to cool yourself off from the summer heat. We tried our luck at the game machines but didn't get too far with it. If you aren't a member, remember to stop by the reception counter to sign in. They have a protocol where guests are required to sign in due to the gaming machines.

Staff were lovely. Food was beyond terrible, worst we've had at a club. Extremely disappointing for what we paid.

Service was excellent as soon as we walked through the front door. Care was given to my friend who almost fell over when she lost her balance. A chair and a glass of water were offered. The table in restaurant was overlooking the river and the food was excellent. Portions were large. I ordered the roast of the day as a main meal. I would have preferred more vegetables (less peas) than pork on the upgrade from petite to main. But it was totally delicious.

Nice place. Sadly the food is a bit basic. Coupled with tourist prices, can't see me coming back soon. I'm not Gordon Ramsey, but if I'm paying for a meal I want it better than I can vioka home

Modern, busy club with contemporary dining. Held a 90th birthday lunch here and enjoyed the food and service. Great view from Aqua restaurant across the Hastings River as backdrop.

It has always been a pleasure hosting conferences at Westport Club. Their venue has been renovated so the amenities are suitable for presentations. It is modern and clean, not to mention their spectacular view of the port from their club. Catering options and pricing were fair, and the food was good. I would like to especially thank Steven & Riley for their prompt responses, professionalism and the rest of the team for ensuring our conferences ran as smoothly as possible! Westport would be the only venue I would run a conference from in the future, and I highly recommend them to everyone else.

If there was a rating worse than 1 star I would give it, me, my partner and my two children were driving back from Brisbane with our EV newly purchased on a trade plate. Not that that’s any consolation. Anyway we stopped here as they have a charger and my kids were tired. Wanted to play and eat seemed like the perfect spot to stop until we Entered. The building itself is really nice. The location is nice also except the food is maybe two stars, the service And staff, look a few of them were great, but the ones who made all the difference were absolutely appalling. Long story short, we had the police Called on us because of the Car, supposedly having no plates by staff and After eating when we were going back in to use the bathroom, we were stopped, Both myself and my partner Several times and asked if we were members when we had signed up and given our ID upon entering the first time and had to repeatedly explain that we were already signed up and had just had dinner and we’re using a bathroom The staff, A woman and a man with behaving, as if they were security, and standing in the way when we were walking in asking these questions and they had stopped literally No one else and no one staff member had even asked us about the car since they were so concerned, they called the police. They didn’t even bother to ask us simple question if they were that Curious Not that it’s any of their business to uphold the law as if they know it. Upon arriving the police said that the fact that we were there with our kids was suspicious, and they had calls to come down, The only thing that makes any sense is that we are black and apparently black people having dinner with their kids like everybody else was, having a punt and using the toilets is suspicious and illegal and warrants calls to the police. I’m writing this review for any people of colour who are thinking about entering this establishment just save your Energy and go somewhere that isn’t racist. It’s places like this that gives small towns in Australia a bad name. And they may respond with no no no That’s not how it was, but I’ve been on this earth long enough and I’ve been To know what racism is and how it feels I’ve lived here my whole life it really upset my children who were scared and confused as well having the police show up especially for us when we went doing anything wrong Or illegal! Absolutely deplorable behaviour And if any staff members see this Should have some training on how to treat civilians, and not judge people how they look…..

Hi there. Had a meeting here today in the cafe and it was all good. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The view from the cafe and the restaurant is great and makes a decent experience. I’m not much of a coffee drinker but the others who were with me said theirs was good. I had table water (very boring I know…) but it’s free!! At our meeting we discussed how we can give local university students the chance to talk about who they think Jesus is. Jesus must be the most astounding and influential person in all of history so giving people a chance ti think about who he is seems a good thing to do. Westport club is a great venue and it also has bowls as well!!

Friday 2nd march we had a birthday dinner booked at 6pm for my 12 year old granddaughter. At first everything was as it should be, lovely setting, nice atmosphere,, from placing our orders things just went downhill, food was very slow to arrive, some of our group had to wait a very long time for their meal. I ordered Pork Belly, it was so dry, and the vegetables were just mush, my daughters steak was inedible, to top that off we ordered spaghetti bol from the children's menu for our 5 year old, it arrived steaming, in a hot bowl and the waiter proceeded to place it on the table in front of the child, luckily we managed to get it away from her before a serious accident. Finished our meal, time for the birthday cake we brought with us. Had to ask waiters 3 times to clear the table of dirty pates etc,,and bring out the birthday cake. Cake eventually got to the table at 8.20pm ,the staff had lit the candles at the servery and by the time the cake got to our table the cake decorations were on fire, Ended up being a very disappointing night, and later than we had expected especially with children.

Experienced discrimination at the club, they don't want the general public to bowl at their club. They lie and make up reasons on the spot why you can't bowl at their club. Overheard the coordinator of the bowls club say"It depends what he looks like" when staff asked if it was okay for myself to bowl, they pretended they were joking when they realised I overheard the conversation. I've been lied to numerous times, over charged several times to bowl. I am a full bowling member with a NSW club in Sydney. I will be making a complaint about this club to the Bowls NSW association. An example of another recent experience, I was told I couldn't bowl as it was after 4pm. I ended up going to the neighbouring club 'Port City' where they were welcoming people at their club, arrived at Port City club where 30 or more people from the community where enjoying having a bowl 5:00pm onwards. Port City club actually care about their community, West Port are elitist snobs that feel the lawn bowl club is only for themselves.

Did no research, it look good from outside so decided to give it a go. On arrival, an immediate feeling of dread …. Oh no, another RSL. However, we were proven wrong - with no booking a young fella “Riley” re arranged some tables to fit us in. The food wasn’t cheap, but not expensive - what you would and should expect. The meals were quick, tasty and fresh - if I was being pedantic, the gravy could have a bit more punch - the Caesar salad had a good tang to the dressing (refreshingly rare these days, so many taste like light flavoured mayo). The kids got an ice cream with their meal, and joined the line to order (bit busier by now). The above mentioned Riley, noticed, brought them back to the table and arranged the dessert - that kid will go far! Very nice night, thanks to all who served us!

Decorations are 10/10. Canadian on tap is 10/10. Even if it takes a while to get too you. Plenty of snack like food options on top the default club feeds. Club was very clean and tidy. However… Not sure if it was the wrong time to be there or if the building has no luck but we went there and it seemed no one was winning on the slappers. Like no one…saw a few features but it seemed dribbles of a pay. We fed a couple of machines a few pineapples and left within an hour. It’s mother club is Mingara near our home and such we are Members. Anywho, there is my review.
