What an awesome lil venue, most meals $15, we had a delicious steak for $20, drinks were expensive but I guess they have to make m9ney somehow $10.60 for alcoholic Ginger Beer on tap 🤷♀️

Was greeted by one of the staff Lucas I think his name was. Tall fella. Felt like I walked into a 5 star hotel he was so professional and freindly. Had the choc nachos. top pub!

waited 30 minutes for food, which wouldn’t be a problem if the kitchen was behind, but they pumped out 12 of our exact order before getting to us. Spoke to a manager and was met with hostility and a slamming of our buzzer on the table saying “yours is next” while we saw 3 more rounds of our meal go out. all we ordered was snitty’s, we had the one buzzer because we thought it was polite, turns out it was just a way for them to push out order back. not happy with the service, not happy with the resolution, food was mid anyway.

The staff on 5/11/22 night was most helpful and great service with a smile. She was very obliging and willing to help. Manager, take note of this and she's a good staff.

The girl behind the counter - Imogen gave us one of the best services and experience weve ever experienced at any pub!
The food was really tasty but a little bit too salty for my taste.
Overall an amazing experience and we'll be coming back here regularly.

Thanks for your reply. We arrived well before 7 pm and went into the dining room where there was no announcement about the wheel. The waitress actually apologised - she said the announcement was only made in the gambling area. I know the members draw used to be done in all spaces. Maybe a glitch?

Pokies open everyday til 4am. Bit clicky with the locals in the gaming room. If you’re not a local it would be easy to feel unwelcome and ignored. I actually feel like I was intruding. Haven’t eaten here yet so can’t comment on tne food but it looks nice

Pleasant enough experience. Wedges are yum. Was quite busy. Great that they have options to sit in the bar, restaurant, and outside. The bar was quite noisy so we sat in the restaurant which was quieter and you can have a conversation.
There's not a lot of parking around the place. It's mostly street parking available. There is a gym on the opposite side of the road. Might be an option when you can't find a street park.

Ordered the $20steak Saturday night.
Was very tender and cheif cooked it perfectly.thanks cheif. The only thing that was a neg is the salad tasted not to fresh.i liked that you have filtered water. Hard to come by in top end resturants.thanks. good seating. Bit limited for parking but thats not to deter. Will come again.

Met a friend for lunch.
Whilst it was nice to be inside in air conditioning, it wasn't nice to have the music a bit too loud for easy conversation.
I had the Pork Belly with sweet potato mash & green beans and my friend had the Slow Cooked Lamb Shank with braised vegetables and mash.

Meat fell off the bone on the lamb shank. Delicious flavour and such a large serving size. They gave us a free dessert nachos voucher but we were too full to enjoy them. Service was friendly. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Some parts of my meal were cold and other parts lukewarm. It was a chilly night though and I was held up a few minutes with ordering drinks, so maybe that is why. Some pieces of the carrot were undercooked and hard to chew. Others were cooked through perfectly. Still enjoyed it though. Left with full bellies. Big TVs on the walls. Like how the tables are spaced out. Noise level was good as we could still hear ourselves talking. We had to park on the street as the car parks underneath were all full. But we didn’t have to walk far.

Lovely, as usual. Staff are all nice. Nothing wrong with the service. Food is great. Huge meals. Ambience...great. A nice place to eat with friends. Not as loud as most places. Thankyou

I ordered the Flame grilled American Cheese burger with onion rings but when I got my food, it didn't come with with the onion rings because they ran out of them, so the friendly staff gave me a choc nacos (which was delicious). Each night the hotel has anything like a triva night, kids eat free, a raffle and much more

Had an awesome time at The Willow Hotel! Seriously, this place knows how to do food right. Started with the lamb shanks – melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The barramundi was like a flavor explosion, and the calamari? Crispy heaven. The waitress even gave us two fre chocolate nacho coupons!
The place was chill, service was on point, and the chef deserves a high-five for making each dish a taste sensation. The Willow Hotel is definitely my new go-to for a laid-back pub experience with seriously delicious food! Kids meals were even free on monday!

Had a great lunch. Ordered the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised with the speed and quality of it. Staff were really friendly, and there was a decent selection of beers, including a couple of craft ones.

It's definitely worth coming down to enjoy sip & chill. Indoor and outdoor setup. Hips of parking around the venue.

Great place with a "kids aquarium" to keep them entertained.
Food is pretty impressive for the price and the beer tap selection is slowly growing

Great menu and one of the most affordable that I've seen from a bar menu in a while. They have a $15 or $20 menu and the choices are many. The best thing on the menu is the $15 lamb shank - so tasty, good portion, and comes out so fast! It's a hit with my friends. We always go for the karaoke on a Friday, which is lots of fun. They also have a raffle going, which is fine, but kinda noisy over the speakers.

Great food at a great price,beef cheeks are melt in your mouth.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great affordable local for the family. Most meals are $15 including dishes like slow cooked beef cheeks or lamb shanks, ribs, steak, seafood basket and many more. They have a kids play room with a MacDonald's like playground which is great for the little ones. Friendly staff. My beef cheeks wasn't as good as they were last time, the sauce was a bit watery and the mash a bit lumpy but it was still enjoyable. I enjoyed the ribs with chips and salad more tonight but forgot to take a photo. Ribs were falling off the bone.

Came here tonight daughter wanted chippies and wife wanted steak win-win
Didn’t realise it was kids eat for free Mondays which was a bonus
Early dinner so had pretty much dining room to ourselves and the play room which is a big bonus, entertainment
We ordered 2 steaks from the $20 mains menu , mains for $15 and $20 win win on the budget
Kids meals, calamari, nuggets and spaghetti with drinks and ice cream
Steaks with mushroom sauce for the parents, with a couple of beers that were on special
It was a decent meal and we were all satisfied
Will be back for the lamb shank that sold out at lunch time

came here during the state of origin game 1 2024 had some good steak with fish and chips came to $30 nice pub food definitely going back for a origin game or any events coming up

Been here couple years ago, food was bad, cold and ugly steak.
Come again this time due to every shops were closed in Easter. Surprisingly food was so much better. Most items on the menu are below 20 bucks, staffs are friendly enough(spending 15 dollars, what do you expected), meal taste good.
Don't have to search for discounted steak again all the time.

Amazing food and great selection on the menu. We got the rump steak with surf and turf. the slow cooked beef cheeks with mash potatoes and a serve of fish tacos. The rump was really the prawns really fresh and tasty. The fish taco was also really good with a great flavour profile and really fresh fish with a really crispy batter. But hands down the beef cheeks were the best thing on the table today. Really deep rich flavour and the cheeks were so tender only needed a fork to eat them. The serving size was also something to be really impressed by. But the thing I think that really makes this place stand out compared to any pub around is the menu prices 15 for a main and 7 for a snack and the quality and quantity of the food. Will definitely be making this a regular food spot. They also have an amazing indoor play area that is closed off so you can let your kids go have fun and it's not to loud as it's fully closed in behind glass. Would definitely recommend this place from everything from a quick snack and a beer to a full work party or birthday celebration with the whole family. Keep up the good work willow hotel your a real gem and a true asset to Brisbane!

Absolutely awesome pub to pull in and have a feed.
Ridiculously cheap food for like $15/$20 a main and came out on time and actually was good food which I was not expecting at all.
Great steak and great beer at a great price. What more can you want!

9/4/24, Tonight was probably the worst night I’ve spent at the willow due to a manager figure acting out of order towards the lovely Tracey and Brock, also known by the PubDragon Trivia. We had not even gotten halfway through the first round of trivia before a Staff member wearing a maroon dress shirt had been incredibly arrogant to the PubDragon team! Even going as far to ask them to leave and not return because the pub itself couldn’t fix their own PA System????? I have a lack of words for how incredibly unprofessional and disgusting the attitude from staff was tonight, I really hope things turn around..

$2.50 for a takeaway container for a $15 meal 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 even though their menu said nothing over $15 and did not mention this extra charge at all. Would they rather I eat in and occupy a table for 4 by myself??? Well, I won't be back. I left. They have now upped their meal prices to $20 I wonder how much they charge for a takeaway container now.
