What an awesome meal. Great service. Great staff. I had the salt and pepper squid and the finance minster had the bbq pork ribs. 10 of 10. We will be back. Country pubs like this are awesome.

Went with a group of friends for dinner and had never been before - the outside looks uncared for and very unappealing I would have driven straight past and never dreamed of going in if it weren't for the fact that we were meeting others there. There was a little more effort placed on the interior decor but it was still very tired and outdated. The meals made up for the appearance though and the atmosphere was pretty energetic on the night that we went. The staff were also very friendly. Whilst I wouldn't book it for a night out myself it was okay for what it was.

Parked our campervan in their backyard as a stopover and then went inside to smash a few beers and a delicious chicken parmy here last night. Played a ton of pool and bs'd with the friendly locals. Good times and the owner is a legend.

Not really a review just some advice.
If you have a big table, ask for name's with that order. It'll make your life easy and the kitchens life easy.
If the table is annoying standing around the place (sorry about that by the way) when you bring food out. Quietly saying what you are carrying doesn't get attention. Yell it, use that God given voice.
Sincerely the guy who waited near two hours (was counting ;) ) for the steak that was forgotten

Lovely little pub! Johnno is a great guy (sorry Johnno I can’t describe you like you’ll love me to) very welcoming of me and my husband and awesome to chat to. The pub is very dated but that is what makes it beautiful. We enjoyed a nice beer and an excellently made pizza. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
We camped for free behind the pub and used the toilets within when the pub was open. Would love to stay there again.

Had a great experience at YNH, we arrived late on a Wednesday night passing through, they had closed the kitchen already but put the pizza ovens back on just for us. Really appreciate their hospitality & a good chat with the locals. The pub also allow camping out back - again very helpful to allow a safe space for travellers to rest. Thank you YNH.
