We love Sunday lunch at the RSL - burgers on the back deck. This is a small local RSL and the kitchen isn't operating at present. Volunteers run the Sunday BBQ and the steak burgers are great (great value, too, at $12 for steak burgers and $10 for hamburgers). There are great raffle prizes each week- meat trays, fruit and vege vouchers and drink vouchers (I'm yet to win one 😆). There's generally live entertainment on Sundays, too. It's targeted at an older audience so people under 50 might be less than enthusiastic about it but the older crowd enjoys it.

We had a enjoyable time visiting & meeting a few of the locals we were with friends visiting, we can recommend the steak burgers.👍the drinks were cold & live band was very good. Thank you Tin Can Bay RSL. Cheers.

This place is very special. It took me back to better, simpler days, lovely people, great Sunday BBQ. Our group of 8 were welcomed with open arms and we had a great afternoon of music, food and laughs together. Highly recommend a visit here. Thank you so much to all the staff and the entertainer!

This is the venue of our favourite farmers market in the area, held every third Saturday of the month. Small market which has all the fruit, veg and plants we need.

The RSL at Tin Can Bay is a great place to visit, but today I went to the markets in the park adjoining the RSL, it was quite good also..

Remember when clubs didn't have pokies? How friendly they were and they went out of their way to please? Well one such club still exists and the Sunday sessions are fantastic with BBQ raffles and entertainment 12.30 each Sunday in the heart of paradise.

Outstanding. Everything you could want in a small country RSL. We arrived at 1430 on a Sunday and the place was heaving with people. I wish we had got there early enough for the BBQ. The Raffles and karaoke made for great entertainment. We will be back next time we pass through

It's certainly different to a big RSL in a big city like Gympie🤣 but a nice country change.

Had a lovely welcome here from the locals - even with four young children. One gentleman even bought the kids crisps to go with the pink lemonades.!

Enjoyable casual Saturday lunch, either inside or on verandah overlooking the Bay. Welcoming & friendly Volunteers & Bar Staff. Chance to catch up & have conversations & a laugh with family, friends & new acquaintances without blaring overhead music. Recommend visit Saturday & also Sunday's BBQ Lunch & Live Music.

A Short Story but Big on Tradition At a meeting held on the 30th April 1980 it was decided to form the Tin Can Bay Ex-Services Club. Not having access to a club room in the early days the Ex-Services Club held it's meetings at Bobs Cafe, The Pavilion on the Sports Ground. On the 25th March 1986 at a meeting held at the Pavilion the affairs of the Tin Can Bay Ex-Services Club were wound up and the Tin Can Bay Sub Branch of the Wide Bay Branch (QLD) of the Returned Services League of Australia was founded. The actual granting of the Charter which is framed and on the wall of the club room was actually granted at a ceremony at Kingaroy on the 16th March 1986 The opening of our present club room was on the 30th March 1996. On going ceremonies ANZAC Day 2016 Dawn Service - 0530 hours beside the Sub Branch Form Up for March - 0830 hours Wreath Laying Ceremony - 0900 hours - ANZAC Memorial Park Tin Can Bay Citizens Commemoration Service - 0940 hours at Hall Maybe biased but Ceremony will be well worth attending
