When I arrived, I really feared for my life and wondered what I had got myself and my partner into - drunk people spilling out into the street at 2pm on a Friday. Needn't have worried - the room, although old and dingy, was clean and air conditioned. The bed, admittedly, was terrible and needs replacing as it was tiny, squeaky and had springs sticking out of it. Apart from that, not bad. We were amazed at how quiet the room was given its location above a noisy pub that has indigenous people there drinking and carrying on from open until close. Conveniently located and walking distance to pretty much everything in Alice Springs. We had a couple of great meals in the bistro where the staff were very friendly. Amazing caesar salad and pizza, roast very nice but meal size tiny for the price. Excellent service from the other staff, even the security guards were friendly. Staff were super helpful with parking our car securely each night and getting it out again each morning. This is NOT an area you would want to leave your car out at night, so their willingness to do this was a huge weight off our shoulders as we had just purchased a brand new vehicle and it was full of our stuff due to relocating from interstate. Own (tiny) bathroom was handy. Overall happy with the place for the price - service was definitely the standout. Would have been 3 stars if not for the level of service. Pleasantly surprised, we really thought we would be listening to music pumping and drunk people brawling the entire time but this wasn't the case at all.

We really enjoyed the steak and the chicken meals - several large steps above pub food; so much so that we asked the chef to come out so we could congratulate him. Beer and wine were cold, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Went for schnitzel night got a big schnitzel and lots of chips! Salad bar was great nice and fresh. Keen to try roast night now!

Went for a meal ordered garlic pizza and roast of the day. Serving were large and well cooked delicious meal

We enjoyed visiting Todd Tavern three times during our stay in the area. The aria frequented by lots of locals during the day and they serve up reasonable foid at reasonable prices Matt and Teresa served us well. !! They recommended coopers landing pale ale which was nice

We are here for the Masters games to play softball & came in for a meal & a few drinks. My t bone steak was cooked to perfection & was topped with some yummy prawns & sauce. I'd highly recommend the Todd Tavern as the staff were really friendly too 😀

Todd Tavern featured recently in national news due to some indigenous interclan feuding. That was weeks ago and the local say it was sensualised by the media who said there was riots - nothing further from the reality and Todd Tavern is a great pub with good service and beer! 🍺

The food here is amazing. We came here without really knowing what to expect and we have been blown away by the quality of food. The menu is very limited but the choices should suit everyone. We ordered lamb blackstrap, and kangaroo fillet, both with potato gratin. Both were excellent. Our friends ordered vegetables and chips and they were also very good. I also ordered the Chef Salad which was also exceptional. This is a lovely old pub a little out of the centre of Alice but still very close to everything. Easy parking at the back of the hotel. Lovely staff - what more could you ask for. We are back here in a week and will definitely come here for dinner. Please don’t be put off by the limits on the menu - I would rather choose from a small menu of excellent food than a huge menu of average of terrible food.

Pub was empty on the restaurant side, but we received excellent service by the two young staff members. We had fish of the week special, it was delicious. Sauce was amazing. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Alice Springs' hidden treasure.

Had a beer and lunch here on a lovely sunny autumn day in Alice Springs. I chose the Green Chicken curry, which was a special. It was a generous serve and the chicken was cooked well, very tender. It just seemed like it was missing something in the sauce. It tasted a bit bland and watery, although entirely edible. Was just hoping for something a little more I guess. Maybe next time, there are lots of things on the new menu that look/sound appealing

Good schnitty and chips. Well worth $20. Nice old Ozzie pub, just needs a bit of love.
Pork was a winner too.

Good pub for a beer has a full Tab and several TVs for sports.
Not always easy to get a beer, or maybe Sunday is a bad time after a big Saturday night.
Tried to get a Great Northern and the keg ran out on first schooner.
Tried Carlton Dry keg was completely out.
Finally enjoyed a quite ale there.

Food was decent. Decent size portions but some was very lack luster and ever so tiny. Had the chicken schnitzel and it had a very fishy taste. If you eat inside its all good but outside YOU WILL BE bothered and harassed by intoxicated indigenous as there is a bar attached to this location, they will be humbugging you for alcohol and smokes. Advise not to dine outside! Inside is clean and contemporary. Staff were excellent and courteous. Overall was a decent meal but i don't see myself ever going back

Despite having lived, worked and played in and around Alice Springs for more than 3 decades, at the moment I am loathe to recommend anywhere in the CBD as safe after sunset. We went to the Todd for a luncheon brunch and once inside and off the streets, the venue offered a great space for us to relax and enjoy a good meal and drink some wine, beer, and coffee, too.

Could not of been happier with our stay at the Todd ! We spent 2 very god nights on a busy weekend with the Masters in town. The manager upgraded us to an ensute room and even dropped the price, real good customer service. The room was large and while old it was clean & comfortable even after the wife had a mattress problem ! For a Pub stay it was quiet & restful.The staff are friendly and the beers & drinks cold plus the bistro was great as well ! Highly recommend for a cheaper alternative which represents value !

Booked in for 6 days.
Dining room under the pump Thursday night But my Roast Lamb was delivered hot tasty with 4 vegetables and love pumpkin as had skin left on best part all cooked to perfection Salute to chef/ Cook in kitchen. Lass forgot the bread tho.Forgiven this time Work Hotel's/ Clubs many yrs.So understand as quite busy.

Been there twice. The first time was for dinner and the food was delicious!! Salad bar so yum I think I had three helpings 😍
Went there for lunch last week lookimg forward to a great feed. Ordered the 300g steak medium rare - it was well done and tasted off - did not eat it. Lunch chef needs to go back to chef school. I will not be eating there again.

A relaxing place for a feed . Had an eye fillet which was well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. I forgot my dogs water bowl and the staff put it aside for me to pick up the next day. Great work 👍

A lovely cosy clean and spacious restaurant. The pizza is one of the best we've had, my son said the chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious, and was house made. My Husband ordered a medium rare steak and it was closer to rare so he couldn't finish it, but that won't affect us going back. Great friendly place and well priced.
