We ducked in here for dinner one Tuesday night before a local meeting and had the rump. It was really tasty and cooked to my request on a bed of chips and with salad. It was a little smaller than I expected but nonetheless enjoyable. The pub was also quieter than I expected. The staff were polite, and it was easy to order at the bar. My food was also served quite promptly.

Visited on Anzac Day, they had 2-up running, well organised game. I had the meatlovers pizza from the bistro which was wayyy better than Pizza Hut! Great place, great vibe, looks like I found my new local!

Very clean and good atmosphere. The food is exceptional and well priced. Good $10 lunch weekdays with a plethora of dishes for the price. Pay at the bar for your food so I can't express my opinion of the chefs nature. However I do thank him for my tasty food when I'm done. Has one of the best tab set ups. It is basically a tab that sells grog on Tucker. Small pokie area which is great as we don't need those. Overall a good pub with the smallest car park I've ever seen. 15 spots if your lucky.

Stayed one night Very disappointed with facilities. Outdated and dirty. Broken toilets in bathroom. Only one shower with no room to hold any items. Shower disgusting, covered in mildew and mould. Room was adequate but photos definitely did not represent. Air conditioner noisy and making on and off rattling sounds all night. Parking was insufficient, difficult to enter and not secure. Overpriced for what was provided. Did not use any bar facilities in main hotel so cannot comment on these, only accomodation. Cannot understand any positive reviews. Will not be returning or recommending.

Stayed here with my grandson. It was only 20 minutes from Sydney Zoo where we went. The staff members who attended us were friendly and helpful. They even went to the supermarket to get a plug for the bath so my grandson could have a bath 🛁. The room was clean and tidy and reasonably priced.

Stayed here for a night. The rooms are very spacious, the beds comfy and there was aircon. The shared bathroom was ok, in need of a bit of an update but it does the job. The food from the restaurant was delicious and filling. Would easily recommend for a short stay.

Staff are very friendly. Came in at 9pm just as the kitchen was closing. We asked if they were still making food. They told us they were closing but would make a last order for us. Food was also good. Had a chicken schnitzel. Good size and value for money.

Pretty basic Tradie/locals pub. Went for a beer but it's all commercial Japanese-owned megaswill. Nasi Goreng was ok. Good pub for tradies

Partner and I went in for dinner, There is underground car park close by which is under a shopping centre, once parked took a little while to figure out how to get out of the car park by foot. Also couldn't figure out how to get to restaurant part of the pub . Meals were Very Good though.

Nice place, didn't try the food this time but they have done it up a little. Beers were cold and service was good and fast.

Mexican pizza: too heavy, too gooie to lift slice without falling apart, no real taste, jalepinos disappointing 20$. Suggestion: tomato base, mince meat (beef or chk), tomatoes, onion, cucumber, coriander (salsa) spoon blobs of refried beans or kidney beans scattered (pref), sour cream, guacamole, pickled jalepinos (fellburgs from WW only) lemon juice squeezed on top and sprinkled with salt and chilli powder. As for the cheese, prob crumbly cheese like farm cheese or fetta type.

Lovely staff. Management leaves a lot to be desired, though. The whole place was SO full of cigarette smoke. It is difficult to understand why the marginal demarcation of allowed smoking areas can be tolerated by the management. My wife and I will not be back. It is a real shame.

I work in the same industry and the pub was clean, the gaming room is how a gaming room should look, the lady offered me a drink and did snack runs the same as what I do. Plus she was very engaging in conversation etc.

I was stuck for somewhere to stay and a little lost. They were the only accomdation, I called, within a 40 minute radius that didn't try to take advantage of my situation by upping their prices. The room was neat, spacious and comfortable. The food in the bistro was tasty and well priced. The staff were absolutely lovely and understanding.

I have been here twice now an I was disappointed both times with the food. First time I had the rump steak. It was cooked medium rare as requested but it was very chewy and tough. Second time I had the barramundi. It was a very skinny dried out fillet and certainly wasn’t fresh. Imported frozen fish that I couldn’t eat. The place needs to improve the quality of the produce they use. Staff are friendly

I decided to drop in for a drink and first thing I noticed was there were no seats to sit at the bar, I said that's alright, I'll take a seat near the TV. So I ordered myself a Wild Turkey neat, the bartender poured 1 shot and wouldn't let me have another in the same glass, just as I went to leave, the bartender said, "hold on, you can't take it away, you have to have it here at the bar". I said "there are no seats at the bar", and the bartender said, "yeah, you have to have it as a shot". I said, "I don't want to have it as a shot, I want to sit and enjoy it". The bartender said "well you can take it away if I put ice in it". So I had my drink watered down, because this place thought they knew better than me on how I like my bourbon. Since chatting with the bartender wasn't an option, I sat down, and thought I'd wait for some more people to come in, and I'd find someone to chat to. Everyone else who came in, was with a group, so I found no luck. In the end, I ordered a few more pricey drinks, and a meal and just watched TV for the rest of the night. I Spent almost $100 on drinks just to sit by myself and watch TV. Not impressed.

Great price, great central location for transport and food. Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed to make our stay great. Not noisy at all considering its a pub downstairs. I took my grandson and him being only 4yrs old I felt very safe. We will be back again

Expectations weren't particularly high for this modern rebuild outer suburban pub, especially as we walked first into the huge and slightly grim pokies den. But the bar and bistro area were perfectly functional (albeit a bit devoid of character), the wine and beer range was good, and the staff and locals were friendly. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Cleanliness is very important to all the hotels and accommodation. because it can cause diseases. Dust comming from the fan and air-conditioning when it's running. I show cockroaches coming through the gaps on the walls. Specially the noise from the doors and air-conditioning need to be replaced. But although I realised this is how we all end it up if we after economy room. Management is very friendly but need more attention of cleanliness and maybe it's time to do renovations. Thanks

Came for a quiet afternoon away from family, got a relaxing room that was pretty clean. Staff was pleasant and super helpful too, they're just following store policy so don't sweat them too much. Can't bring your own food inside, so instead of Dominos I had some of their wood fired pizza. Presentation was good but the portion was awfully delicate. Toilets were far from positive, one wouldn't close when I needed to urinate either - and the seat looked so crusty it was as if it survived the Third Crusade. But the rest of the amenities, shower and bathtub were pretty spotless all things considered. The location wasn't great either, the nearby shops were all Indian places, which is fair considering - there were other stores too but they seem to have long since closed, a shame as I had heard about a restaurant's longonisa. Fantastic if you just need to get away from people who want your attention all day everyday. Don't come to Toongabbie for the shopping or a romantic date, do come if it's just chilling with the boys. Another downside about the location, last minute edition: there are a few of the soulless money drains that are Chinese/foreign owned apartments nearby so enjoy your view out the window lol. Doors are electronically keyed too which is coo

As a very long time customer. I thought this was the perfect hotel for me & my family. After the pandemic, we visited for the first time. This was a very horrible experience. First off the management is very poor, they didn’t even show respect and care for their customers. When I told them I was going to complain and put a review about this, he said simply said you can complain anywhere. Second off, I booked for 2 children and 2 adults and they provided us with a single bed and a double bed. The third reason why I would not recommend this hotel is, when we came back to our room it was not cleaned. The beds were not made and when I went to complain, the only person who was working was the manager. The days that this room was clean, It was poorly managed. The room looks nothing like what it’s shown on the pictures. It looks 10 times worse as well as we need to share the bathroom with 11 other rooms. This hotel is lacking on facilities. On the next day we needed to switch hotels as we couldn’t even get fresh air in that room. To conclude, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We are expecting an Australian-Standard management.

Accomodation was basic, but spacious and inexpensive, and while reasonably clean, the room i was in could use a fumigation.. Had a burger for lunch that was nice, woodfired pizza for dinner, it was Pizza promo night, so while cheap, it was drab and flavourless - I've had better frozen pizzas. When it comes to food, quality fresh ingredients and flavour are paramount, and people will generally pay any amount of money for good quality food. You've no doubt spent a large amount of money putting in a commercial grade woodfired pizza oven, get the flavour right, charge more money if you have to, and you will make a killing. A pub full of punters coming for the food will be spending much money on drinks and entertainment too. Service from all the staff was absolutely top notch !!! I will likely stay again the next time I'm up that way.
