What a joke of a pub! Had to wait an hour to get my meal and the dining room was half full. Then had to ask for the suace for my steak. Steak was over cooked. Needee a hacksaw to cut it. Save your money and do NOT eat at this pub. Plenty of better places. I recommend Sussex Hotel in Walkerville - quick service and good food. You won't be disappointed there. I will NEVER return to The Tower. They've lost me as a customer for ever. Very bad experience.

What a great experience that was!!! The food the service, atmosphere... the lot. Olesia at the bar was super helpful and patient while we placed our large food and drinks orders and Blake was really pleasant while checking if everything was ok with our food and cleaning the table. Well done guys.

We recently attended a Penfolds Wine function at the Tower Hotel and we were blown away at the exceptional food served the enthusiastic service and attention to detail. It really was an amazing evening and we would definitely do it again. Highly recommend it to anyone.

We ordered beers and fries near gaming room. Waited 20 minutes and asked her to check if the fries were coming soon. She made up ,this rude face and said ,”it’s from Kitchen and I haven’t been there” and as soon as she turned away we could hear her saying,”why everyone today”? My friend was asking in decent way as fries shouldn’t take that long and we were checking if the order actually went through.

Went to Tower Hotel for a going away dinner. The staff were honest when ordering and advised there would be a 50 minute wait. So if you go when it is busy, I hoghly recommend ordering asap. The staff were super friendly. I ordered the vegan parmy, this was really nice, and came out with a small salad and chips. Would definitely eat there again on a less busy night 😅

We love it every time we go to the Tower. Plenty of space great menu and drinks options, bit more formal seating as well as more casual, as well as a kids cinema and wonderful staff make the Tower Hotel a great venue. The food is always great, and there I a great cellar onsite for takeaway wines.

We had the open steak sw and chicken schnitzel, steak was tender, bacon, egg , Really good but , chips were so overcooked and dry , and the bread under the steak was so soggy from the sauce . Schnitzel was good but chips were overcooked. Put a couple of coins in the pokies and found The responsible person in the area has some sort of attitude, rude and grumpy to boot .

Very disappointed. Saturday night meal, we pre booked a table for 8. 2 of the 3 specials were sold out by 6:30pm. $48 for Scotch fillet which was served to table cold. My Scotch fillet looked like a minute steak. We were told we couldn’t replace salad with vegetables - why?? Also told we couldn’t replace papardelle with spaghetti- why?? Upon speaking to a “manager” directly by one of us, no satisfaction was attained. Not good enough for a pub with a “monopoly” in the area, need to do better or you’ll soon lose custom.

This was my worst experience in a long time. Shelley was off today, and the woman in the sports bar was like cardboard. In fact she was rude, we had to listen to her complain about being tired from working till 2:30 am. She made sure she mentioned this to every customer. Don't take the shift, I don't care. Plus she said to get the parmi/ pint deal we should be ordering it on the app. We've never done this. It was a huge hassle for us to play the pool table infact everything was a hassel. We've spoken to many locals/regulars and no one is happy with the menu change. People want easy meals in the front bar. Bring back the chicken tenders. I'm so glad I had my birthday here in January as I would NOT have it here now. Clearly you don't care about your regulars as your not listening to them. Patrons should not be councillers for your staff who want a winge. Change the menu back. The talk of the town is the Rezz is the place to be. Clearly, woolies have money behind it, but customers are talking with their Wallets and leaving the tower. Be warned there is fake reviews as the photo from kingdom lazza is not what the current parmi salad looks like. Very coincidental that this popped up straight after my review. I smell a rat.

This is a pretty good restaurant on Magill Rd. The Pork Ribs and Barramundi we ordered are delicious. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Many outdoor dining seats.

The new chef is beyond amazing, food quality is much better and delicious and the wait staff are super friendly. The booths and flooring could use a little work but besides that the renovations are standing strong

The battered fish and beef schnitzel was nice and generous, the salad was poor and the lettuce was old. The coffee was only lukewarm and the cookies and cream cheesecake was disgusting. Was very disappointed

Stopped in for Sunday lunch. I had the Nepalese Curry off the specials board. My wife had the Wagu burger. Curry was fantastic with lots of flavour and I would definitely order again. The burger was unfortunately a cheeseburger size not a proper burger. Hot chips should be cooked in their own fryer. These ones tasted more like fish than chips. Service was fast and friendly.

Staff attentive. We were the only ones dining on a Monday at lunch time. Food tasty and prompt. Had to order at the bar but no problem as there were no other diners. Coffee *decaf) nice and hot. Sat a table, our choice, but the booth 'leather' cushions have seen better days Music was too loud but was turned down as soon as we asked. Good 20% seniors discount on our main meals which was appreciated

Had massive cravings for some pub grub and thought we would get out of our comfort zone and try a different pub that we haven’t been to before, instead of revisiting the same ones that we go to! Tower Hotel is a place that we drive past often, and have been meaning to try it since the revamp. The night we visited, we were seated in the beer garden because the main restaurant was at capacity. We opted for Garlic Bread & Haloumi Fries w/ Aioli for starters and Slow Roasted Angus Porterhouse, the Warm Salmon Salad & a couple of beers to wash it down. Service was subpar to begin with as we were served 1 beer out of the 2 with our entrees. However, having eaten the garlic bread and haloumi fries we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. How wrong we were, all that followed was disappointment… We waited a long, long time for our mains and still no second beer. When the mains finally arrived, we asked about the missing beer but staff were clueless and had to reconfirm our order with us. No cutlery was provided with our meals, so when I went up to the bar to ask for some, the waitress told me to “just grab whatever you want”, meaning I had to reach over the bar countertop to grab it… The steak was cooked medium-rare as requested but it was extremely gristly and not great quality. The bread roll that accompanied the steak was stale and chips were undercooked - pretty sure we ate raw potato at some point. The warm salmon salad was no better. The salmon within the salad was cooked well, but it was drenched with dill aioli, making the dish super sickening - especially since the salad consisted of a handful of spinach, about 10 chickpeas, a whole lotta raw Spanish onion and no avocado?! Realising the missing avocado (that was meant to be in it), I went up to the bar but nobody was there (waited around for 5 minutes). I then walked around the to main restaurant to ask about the missing avocado, only to be told: “it is diced up in there, you just can’t see it” and then they decided to generously give us more avocado - 1/4 of a blackened avocado. How generous. $100 later and a whole lot of calories wasted on a horrible meal. Disappointing.

Had a great afternoon with colleagues. The food was great. Everything was easy to order from our table, and staff brought all food and drinks to your table, so more time for socialising and less time waiting in queues to order. Plenty of space and ample seating, nice garden, and attractive venue.

First time having dinner here and came away rather disappointed. First up, prices on the menu are quite odd (why is a snitty+topping more expensive than many other mains?). The garlic bread starter was pretty terrible. No trace of garlic, only some unappealing herbs and very very pungent parmesan (was it off?). The open steak sandwich/burger was average too. Far too expensive for half a bun, onions, a tough chewy cut of steak, egg, some bbq sauce and chips.

Been coming here for over a year on a semi-regular basis and they have a great pint & parmi deal here for $20. I mainly eat at the sports bar area and the staff there and the gaming room are very friendly!

A few vegetarian options, better than most pubs. I ordered nacho, pretty good. Big area suitable for many different sizes of private functions or events.
