Yummy cocktails and such a fun time at karaoke!

Very good venue with a purpose built stage capable of handling multiple bands in one night. Lovely bar staff, very helpful and endearing. Good back end access for loading in gear, good advice for those bands running the "London Circuit gauntlet" playing traffic with heavy guitar amps and stuff!

This business knows it’s stuff - great bar for the alternative crowd to hang out. Pool tables, stage (karaoke area on Tuesday’s), lots of space to spread out at various sorts of tables. Come here for a quiet drink or as a group.

They've moved to a new location. A lot bigger with more room. Nice upgrade from the previous location. Still have pool tables and live music. Venue has more of a focus on live gigs. Prices are still the same and staff are friendly as always.

The young German bar tender was very pleasant and had very good product knowledge.

The staff at the front door are rude and made me and my friends feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Laughed in my face and made me feel ugly. However sparks fly was amazing If there was no rude staff at front it would be better.

The revamped Transit Bar is such a cool, cozy place to hang out. Whether you're having a dance or a mosh or just playing pool, Transit is a welcoming, well designed venue. Before the change, Transit was just a dive bar. Now, it's a respected live music venue and all-round great place to hang out in the city. The bar staff are absolute champions too

The new venue is great. The food, stage, sound, etc, all well taken care of by a nice and friendly staff.

Shane the barman seemed like a nice guy but $12 for a schooner of Carlton Draught is daylight robbery. Would like to support but not at those prices

Relatively new location, a big improvement, great live music venue and bar.
Saw Telenova play, sound was great, nice intimate space

NOPE! the food was dismal. 3 people ordered 3 separate meals/dishes, and ALL got food poisoning.
I did like the bar it has an eclectic, electric vibe going. I would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the food.

Nice venue, good layout and typically good clientele there most nights. Heaps of diverse shows on every week.

New location doing wonders for transit. Came for Friday night root's and great atmosphere. Free drink with $15 ticket so basically free and good music. Not a dingy pub any more!

Love Transit. Karaoke nights (either Tuesday or Wednesday) are so much fun. Staff are all amazing.

If you want live tunes this is the place. Great selection of beers on tap and legend staff to make it a great night. Really cool layout and fit out, best urinal experience ever lol. Get here!

Had Great Time, Seeing a DJ from London, Great Host Leigh showed us the ticket system well, with a background of how the gig was planned out, with a bonus of 3 Pool 🎱 tables, Great vibes n great selection of Drinks n Space to Dance. Love the fit out for big party's to start your night off in town with all you need in a bar. Definitely going back, with time to enjoy a better experience by going to another event when it shows. 🙌

Great new venue and vibe. Very average at "pub food" in the city. Excellent location and brilliant sound for live bands, keen to see this institution revive itself.

Good to see Transit open on my last visit to the nation's capital. Wasn't there for long but the place is pretty big with several separate areas to socialise in and a decent looking band/dancefloor area.

Finally a venue fit for the city! The design of this space is orientated towards loud music and good times for big and small groups. Its got an incredible selection of beers and bar food, making it a great place for a quick catch up, a big night out or both.

Awesome new venue with much more room for a dance, plenty of pool tables for everyone and some nice seating around the joint
