Wonderful and fast service. All of our meals were absolutely devious and fresh.

When I'm coming Tamworth I always visit Tudor hotel for drinks and food at night. I don't have opinion for rooms etc. I can say only for the bar downstairs. Really busy and enjoyable place with good food and friendly team... I recommend it 110%

We stopped here 5 months ago at the start of a van life trip and ended up coming back to Tamworth for this steak. Absolutely cooked perfectly. I chose the beranaise sauce this time and was delighted with it, complemented the fresh vegetables. Highly recommend

Went there for a party upstairs,
Room was small and cramped. Could barely breathe in a small room with 60 plus people.
Food was yummy, though drinks were very expensive. The kegs kept running out had to wait over 15 minutes for keg change. Eftpos kept cutting in and out. Upstairs server too busy on there phone not serving and when they did the order was wrong. Service was poor!!! Food was good and drinks were expensive.

Went in to hear some music at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and stayed for lunch. Great music on different levels. Meal was generous, fresh and really good despite getting our order of sauces mucked up but disappointed with the very dirty cutlery. Stayed on to hear the ‘West Texas Crude’ who were awesome & made up for everything!

Well had dinner here, the food and overall service and experience was fantastic and what would you expect in a great hotel.
There was something trivial - missing sauce - for one of the meals, it was addressed and fixed immediately with no drama.
If I'm in Tamworth again, I'll definitely be stopping by.

We had a meal which was lovely, but unfortunately the meals were all mixed up ,people at our table had to go get there meals which we given to other tables. Some of the bar staff we rude. Considering the meals were good ashamed about the rest.

Visited with friends last night for dinner and wouldn’t bother going again. Young female bar staff member was so sullen and clearly she didn’t want to be helpful. I ordered an entree of salt and pepper squid and a main of chicken shnitzel with creamy mash and vegetables which was basic fare and barely hot but nothing special. The calamari was soggy and in big thick chunks and unlike any calamari I’ve had before.The female staff member wanted to know if I wanted the entree before the main, and smirked when I explained that’s what an entree was. My friend tried to help her by putting a straw in the water glass and the girl told her not to lean over the bar, which she had not done, so rude.A disappointing evening.

The Tudor hotel is a great place for functions. We recently had our work Christmas party here. Theres heaps of great areas across a few levels. They looked after our group perfectly. Great food offerings and awesome service.
I’d highly recommend this place for your next function, you won’t be disappointed

The special $20 rump turned out to only one of chips or salad or mashed potato if you want veggies or salad with your chips or mash it’s an extra $6 so it’s not really a special it’s fails advertising

The meals were reasonable however despite having just updated the menu, there were no vegetarian options which seems strange in this day & age. We made to feel very uncomfortable towards the end of our meal as the staff made it very obvious that they wanted to close up & go home. It wasn't even 9pm so it's not like we were pushing the boundaries.

The food here is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is quite a variety of dishes available so visit here and make your choice for a beautiful meal.

Stopped in for lunch with my 2 daughters. I ordered myself the Rib-eye. I can very easier say that it's the best pub steak I've ever had. It was cooked perfect medium rare and it was huge.

Nice outdoor roadside seating. My Vietnamese salad was very plain. My partners battered barramundi was nice, just the typical pub Barra. There is a surcharge for using card instead of cash.

My son and I love going to the Tudor Hotel for our Friday lunch I can get a small meal (from their entree menu) and my son a good burger and fries with a beer and a wine friendly service great vibe

My mum and I travelled to Tamworth from Canberra recently, and boy am I glad that we chose to have dinner here! I had the eye fillet steak with potato gratin, and mum had the honey prawns with fried rice. The eye fillet was the best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. I have visited a lot of steak houses/restaurants that charge double and sometimes triple the price of this steak (which was around $40 from memory), and none of them compare to this one. It was so tender, flavourful and cooked to perfection. The honey prawns were also delicious, and the fried rice was a very nice accompaniment. Thank you so much for an amazing meal! I wish we didn’t live so far away, but we will be back to visit next time we’re up that way without fail!

My husband and I ordered the garlic prawns in the entree section to share just for starters. It was$24 so figured it’d be ok. Well guys… you get 3 prawns for $24 😂 oh and a pretty little stack of green decor in the middle. Not another thing on the plate.
Needless to say my husband and I loved our 1 1/2 prawns each 😆

I'm rarely disappointed in steaks but I got a wagyu steak for 40$ and was so small, not well cooked and just so expensive... I also ordered veggies as a side and extra roasted potatoes and has litteraly 2 brocolis not cooked and 2 small potatoes. I never saw that.
Burgers seemed way better if you want something to eat there. Otherwise go to an italian restaurant they know how to cook.

Great pub in the main street with excellent lunch and dinner offerings. And the mushroom sauce is delish!

Great place, with the lovely staff that work tirelessly to make the pub run smoothly.
Chicken Burger was quite good, with nice combination of the sauce and the lettuce to give a fresher taste
Chicken schnitzel was very pleasing, the salad and paired quite nicely with the gravy and chips along side the actual schnitty
Parmy was a little under whelming, but was saved with the salad and the chips.
Chips were nice and hot and you could tell they were fresh 😋
Overall, the Tudor was an amazing country pub experience.

Didn’t stay here, but I did eat dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. Totally recommend the bruschetta! I had the Burrito Bowl with salmon and my partner had the Jacks creek Angus steak, we both really enjoyed the meals.

Decided to attend this Hotel for dinner as it wasn't fully booked out.||Good selection on the menu and dinner was tasty and filling. Average prices. Bar staff were great, friendly and having fun while working. ||Very unorganised in getting the 'dance area' set up while band was warming up and the area did become a bit dangerous as the night moved on. They hadn't moved 3 chairs, which got moved/tossed around between the dancers and never asked those of us to move back enough to cater for the latter onslaught of dancers.||Band was great.

Backwater bogan staff member who changed his tune pretty damn quick when he overheard a conversation in which my partner mentioned/inferred he is gay. First drink, and asked to leave? Blew 0.0% on the breath tester, which they tried to refuse him access to.
Won't be going back.
Will be taking action with the local liquor authorities.
Tudor is a basic-venue with nothing special about it anyway, but it is unfortunately one of the only pubs still operating right in the CBD, at some reasonable hours it's the only one open. I suppose they don't have to try to do anything special, offer anything good or even be reasonably polite.
...then again they don't want us gays to spend our money there... so perhaps our experience is not indicative of others, but I won't give them another chance.

Absolutely amazing experience!
We had a group of 20 people and we were all served within 5 minutes of each other. Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious.
Service staff were on point and as friendly as anyone could ask.
Highly recommend this place to anyone for dinner. 7/5 stars!
