What a stunning pub meal, eay beyond the usual offerings. And the pizzas walking past, in different sizes, look fabulous. Sat outside, live music piped from inside. Pretty wonderful for lunch today.

We love eating on the terrace at Union Place. Great atmosphere, service is smart, fast and extremely polite, food is delicious and plentiful and the cocktails are great. Can't fault it for a meal that suits the whole family.

We had a lovely lunch at the Union Palace Hotel. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We received a 20% discount off our order, which is available during the weekdays! I ordered the chilli prawn linguine, which I have had before, and as usual was really tasty and had plenty of prawns. My friend ordered the crispy skin barramundi which was a generous size and delicious as well. When we went to order dessert we were told we just missed out as lunch had closed. The waiter, Blake saw we were disappointed and said he would ask the chef if we could still order dessert, which he did, and the chef Harry, kindly said we could place our orders. The desserts were fabulous, I had the lemon ricotta cannoli and my friend had the decadent chocolate mousse which was the daily special. The staff are always great here but the service we received from Blake and Harry was so nice and thoughtful, thank you!! PS I also had one of the best mocktails I have ever had! 😍

We asked for a quieter table when booking, and despite it being very busy, the hotel had us in a booth as far as possible from the general noise. This made a big difference to one of our party who has difficulty with hearing.
So, we were there from 5.00pm on a Saturday evening and the place was already pumping, which should be read as a good indicator of the quality. All staff through our visit were polite and helpful, so it was a pleasure to be there.
I asked for a special dish on the menu which didn't immediately appear on the ordering register, but it was made to happen. Delicious, by the way. I recommend the master stock chicken, full of flavour and just right, as were the rest of our party's meals. Priced well too.
I can even recommend the coffee, which not all pubs do well, but very good here.
All in all, everyone connected to the Union Hotel should be proud of what they are achieving. We will be back.

We all had a fabulous time at the Union. Mitch was accomodating from the start of organising our family function. Food was excellent and staff were more than helpful. Highly recommend Union Place Jannali either for your next event, family get together or lunch or dinner out. Exceptional service. Thanks to all .

This pub has a long inventive menu, but some dishes don't come out not as described (steer clear of the poached chicken sandwich, it has none of the things mentioned, preserved lemon, walnut and basil, and just tastes like tinned mayonnaise chicken from the supermarket). They have a great alcohol selection but should reconsider their dog ban, there is a great open area at the very front that would be perfect for well behaved dogs.

This place opens very early, so I wondered how good it was as a morning cappuccino setting. You will see from my pics that it was completely empty. Yet, surprisingly, the coffees took about 10 or more minutes. It was also a pretty average coffee. Not burnt or anything, just not particularly flavoursome.
I feel with a different coffee blend this place would make a marvellous morning coffee stop. Yes, I realise that its primary purpose is not as a cafe but it is a lovely spot so why waste the opportunity for morning business. 😀

The pizzas were really yummy as usual - and I'm always happy to see a pizza without tomato base due to intolerances. The beet root base in combination with the veggies and the cashew majonnaise is so good!

Sunday afternoon family gathering! Great service with enjoyable pub grub and lovely acoustic guitar and singing in the background.

Stopped for lunch today with 6 friends. Sat outside, which got quite warm when the sun finally came out. Menu was small, but good variety. Food and prices were quite good, no complaints. The major downside was the woman who was fulfilling the role of Covid Marshall. Talk about cranky pants! Throwing chairs around, dropping the F bomb in front of patrons, including young children, and walking around with a scowl on her face all day. It got so bad that I had to approach the manager to voice my concerns. This proved a waste of time as he ended up having a good laugh with her instead of a good talking to.
Nice place to eat. I'll come again, but the staff need some serious work.

Really lively atmosphere with great food and the bar team look after you.
We came here a couple times, and really love it! Pretty good selection at the bar and the food was perfect Aussie pub grub for our UK friends.
Great atmosphere and the footy was on outside and in.

My friend and I lunch once each school holidays. Union Place offer a great environment, a huge range of choice for food and pleasant service. We have never been hurried out - something we appreciate very much.

Love this place for delicious, quality food. The heaters were great so we could sit outside in the cooler evening.I also like how the other diners are spread out and you can have a conversation at your own table without shouting.

Love this fabulous pub in the Shire. Food is always amazing with lots of new menu items. Fabulous cocktails at great prices but what sets this place apart from other venues in the Shire is the Staff! Very helpful. Very accomodating and very professional. Will keep coming back.

Great staff and service. I went to dinner with my brother and his wife. My sister in law's father passed away earlier in the day, so when the bar guy asked how her day was, she burst into tears. He gave her her drinks and then came around and gave her a hug. It was such a lovely thing to do. Well done.

Great selection, so there's something for everyone. Also, good drink selection with a very nice Sauv Blanc on tap! 🥂
Have had both lunch & dinner in the last week, and the food was very tasty. All dining in the party enjoyed their food.
Bistro booths are cosy, and the outdoor seating has fantastic heating for the cooler weather.
Tuesday evening's Trivia Night can get busy, so booking is advised.

Great modern, new pub - fab for all occasions. Delicious upmarket meals - not your average pub food, but instead a step up which is so nice! Try the specials - the fish is often really good. The pizzas are lovely too. Great range of beers and wines and tvs for the sport. Enjoy!

Fun place for a family lunch with a few drinks. Kids menu is good and the space is well set up. Bar and food service were all great. WE HAD FUN!

First time here on a Saturday night. The staff were friendly and the place was nice but the food was expensive for the portion you get. $68 for 2 chicken parms and 2 sauces. I would come back for the drinks as they were well priced.

Came here on a Saturday night. Food, drinks and service were top notch. Hats off to whoever runs the kitchen as their job was not for the feint hearted on such a busy night.

Brock and the team are absolutely fantastic! I totally appreciate the service and great food! A definite must for all Shire and families and couples to visit great portions great food menu and totally recommend to all Sydney siders. I will be back and I have to say quality of food is exceptional. Thank you to the manager and staff for your service tonight. See you all sooner than you know.

Been coming here regularly for a few years and is always great. Food is delicious and they are constantly pushing out new menu items to keep it fresh. Likewise with the cocktail menu.
Attended the Mother’s Day lunch and it was the best meal I’ve had at the pub. King Prawns were particularly good!
