Went there for the first time and was looking forward to it but I was disappointed. Staff were friendly. We ordered 2 chivitos on the plate, waited over 45 minutes. Which is a long wait for what it is, and when it arrived it wasn’t anything to rave on about. Meat was ok but very thin, chips were not even that hot and the green salad was just a few leaves of lettuce, bit of tomato chunks and maybe one slice of onion just chucked on the side of my plate with no salt or dressing. Drove one hour and waited 45 minutes and on top of it I think $20 for one plate was way OVERPRICED for what I got. Oh and the little bread rolls we got as a starter were frozen in the middle too.

This place mainly attracts members of the South American community in Sydney. The crowd is very warm and friendly however service is almost non existent! Tables and chairs are very poorly cleaned and the food is awful. Would definitely not eat here again.

😊👍 This is our first visit to the Club, Good parking área, the lady at the reception was very nice and welcoming, the people at the coffee shop, restaurant, bar friendly and helpful. We recommend it, the food fresh and fabulous.
Music, dancing entertainment very good 👍
We will be back for sure 💖

This club use to be brilliant at authentic Uruguay food and music. Now there is no bbq, no asado nothing authentic at all. I had the chicken schnitzel and it wss half raw. The side that was cooked was tasteless and the chips has no flavour. They have really gone downhill, it is such a shame, it is hard to fine places that do authentic asado. I was very disappointed, the only highlight was the desert's they were definitely authentic but obviously shop bought so i can atleast applaud them for picking a good shop to buy Uruguayan deserts from. Over all the food left us feeling ill. They need to really overhaul this place

Nice place to meet people from Uruguay and other south americans countries. We had yesteday a chilenian "celebration" with different musical groups. It was good and a very familiar enviroment. Waiting for our complete barbacue was long but the meat was great!

Loved returning to my heritage today with a delicious lunch, coffee and sweets @ Uruguayan Club. Congratulations to the new committee on all their efforts in bringing it back to it's glory days. Loved catching up with so many, life time friends.
Check out the many varied events coming up. Can't wait to go back.

I've been coming here since I was a kid so it's nice to now bring my own kids. Food is great, $45 will feed 2 adults, a "completo" with chorizos, asado, chicken and more. Music is also always good and great to watch the mature adults dancing tango at the beginning of the night. ❤️

It's one of the few authentic old school cultural/community clubs left in Sydney. The bistro is delicious and really reasonably priced (I can't recommend one thing it was all delicious). No pokies, a real family atmosphere when the salsa music comes on people get up and dance! It does help if you have a South American / Spanish background or you are with people who are but if you go when they have a show on you'll like it.

I travelled from the Central Coast to Hinchinbrook to attend to Sonido de los Andes concert at the Club. It’s a great venue with lots of parking area. The acoustic of the room was great for the music. It was a great night listening to Andean music.

I love this place. The warmth is like no other place in Sydney. Go with the expectation of a family gathering and not a fancy restaurant and you’ll enjoy yourself with a beautiful community.

Great Uruguayan social and cultural club. Plenty of seating, staff are always welcoming and the food is fresh and tasty from what you'd expect of a cultural club. There's a cafe inside with a fantastic selection of traditional South American sweets, cakes and pastries. Live entertainment including the occasional Latin American DJ. There's always a line to the bistro and the traditional beef BBQ grill is excellent. Premises also has a fully licensed bar with a selection of beers, wines, spirits, juices and drinks. This isn't a restaurant, and the club does have a social calendar for events. When events are on, early arrival is essential as the parking doesn't accommodate many vehicles. Highly recommended for a Uruguayan foodies experience. Try the beef!

Excellent value and quality food. Club entertainment occasions. Great outdoor space. Genuine Uruguay BBQ and pasteries. Great for young and old. Relaxing south American hospitality and atmosphere.

Down to earth Club, run and staffed by Club members. Great asado, reasonably priced bar. Lots of Tango and other Latin events.
