Worst treatment I have ever received at a restaurant, first there’s no shaded parks so we park as close to the only entrance near the parks as we have an 8 week old baby and it’s hot, we then realise that the only entrance that is quick to get in to is the pokies room but as my kids are baby’s and it’s meant to be a family friendly restaurant and I was walking straight to bistro I didn’t think this would be a problem, as I put my child down tho to play in the play room we were approached by an extremely rude staff member who explained that we’re not aloud to do that, it wouldn’t have been so much of a problem had she not been so rude but the way my partner and I were spoken to made us not feel like eating at all, this used to be a nice family friendly pub but I would not recommend a family ever go to this place now

We went to Victoria Hotel for a week day lunch. The staff are friendly and the service great. The food was disappointing. Expensive for lunch. I had roast of the day which had half cooked very hard vegetables. The roast lamb looked old and tasted like it had been warmed up. My partner had for the price of $18, a very small chicken schnitzel and chips. Really not worth the money and most important the food was substandard. I love to support local business getting back after COVID but the food standard has to be lifted too. Not pleasant.

We ordered lunch and it was a Tuesday so not busy but my mares sausages were under cooked and my veal snitzel was ordinary. The service was good.

Waited an hour and a half for food, food was terrible and falling apart and sloppy… don’t recommend going there for dinner. The waiters were lovely though and good service just waiting on food for that long and the quality of the food was ridiculous. A bit overpriced for the quality of food.

Very nice food. Nice staff. We had lunch, our meals came out in good time and all together. Handy having a small pokies room next door for a quick game, if that's your thing. Soft drinks seemed a little on the pricey side. 2 Large glasses of coke were $9.

The portion size wasn't bad, the food itself wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible, crumb on the parma was soggy, chips undercooked etc. That being said the customer service was pretty good, depending on who was serving.

The meals were excellent. Lamb shank and Up North Chicken parma were both generous portions and cooked well and arrived at the table hot. It was a quiet Sunday lunch crowd, didn't notice the sound of the pokies in the adjacent room.

Stopped in for lunch not a good meal wife had a parma i had flathead tails waited half hour to get our meals when it arrived parma was just warm and we both got cold chips won't be going back there for a meal again

Staff were very unfriendly. They made a mistake when taking our order and when I questioned them about it they were very rude and made it feel like it was my fault.
Then we waited over an hour for two meals.
They were very quiet only hsd about 4 tables of people in there.

Staff were fantastic, food not so good. I had Amatricana with penne. Tasted nice but was just warm. Wife had pork belly, no crackling. Garlic and cheese bread was very nice. Place seemed to lack atmosphere.

Or meals were very good quality and certainly a very generous serving size. Staff were plentiful and helpful.

Only Pokies bar was open. Had to go into the pokies bar to get drinks then, walk back around to the lounge area. Not sure why the lounge bar was closed. (It was all part of the one bar) Toilets were a discrace. The smell of urine when you walked in the front entrance was horrid. Better to go somewhere else unless you are just there to play the pokies.

My meal was lovely. On time and the staff wonderful. Was surprised with the meal deal on Monday night. Have already recommended you to others. 😀😀 Thankyou for a lovely birthday tea for my birthday.

Meal good. Staff good. Music way to loud for pleasant dining
Don’t go for a quiet meal if there are children in the play area. The play area is small and very noisy. Most of the time the parents let the kids run riot with no consideration for other diners and the Management has no intention of asking for a little toning down. Will not go again after two very bad experiences with feral children .

Lovely service. My parmi was quite expensive ($25) and it was a little light on the salad. However the schnitzel itself was enormous. So if you're up for a meat-feast maybe give the Vic a go.

I have stayed here a number of times because it's cheap and convenient for work. I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of the week checking out on the Tuesday. I checked in again on Friday today and the same room has not even been cleaned or made up since I checked out 3 days ago. Absolutely disgusting. I won't be staying here again ever. I had been prepared to put up with the shabbiness because the room was usually clean. Absolute contempt for paying customers. DONT STAY HERE!

I don't know too much about the bistro or food but it looks very nice and the staff on site are very friendly & helpful each time I have been to the venue

Great steak in Shepparton!
Didn’t expect they have steak night on Wednesdays and we get $12 off any steak order.
Average price normally around $30s.
Portion is great, handling can be better, it seems slightly over done for me tonight.
Will definitely come back on my next trip.

Great place to dine in, get a drink, stay or play some pokies, excellent staff, clean, and friendly. Close to everything, cheap prices, good quality games and excellent food and drinks. Recommended.

Great nite with family. Steak was cook as requested, it's rare to get your steak medium rare and vegies were plentiful. Seafood platter was ordinary, wouldn't order again. Friendly staff, bright and airy. We had a great nite, thankyou.

Friendly staff, delicious and well priced meals. Sunday roast and apple crumble with custard $15. Very large chicken parmigiana. Will be eating here again. :}

Dearest readers,
The Victoria hotel is a superb establishment. As you walk into this sleek and down to earth modern facility. You are greeted by a clean and beautifully maintained establishment, were the staff are so welcoming and have some of the most wicked and funny sense of humour. In example, I that is so like me spilt some food on the front of my t-shirt and when the serving staff saw me do this, they joked with my loved ones at same time that they can't take me anywhere. I laughed so much and felt so comfortable and relaxed.
And what may I say about the food, ohhhhhh so delicious, and the serving sizes are huuuuuuuuge dear readers, and such amazing value for money. Especially on a Monday when you can get 2 meals for the price of one. I dear readers received over $70 dollars worth of food for the price of $36, mean truly what a deal dear readers.
So all in all, the Vic is a truly great place, great atmosphere, amazing service, and true for money in both quantity and quality.

Best Meal I've had in years from a Pub. Great Friendly Staff, Very clean, and Food was Unbelievably Fresh. Hand Crumbed Schnitzels, made it even more Enjoyable for Us. *10/10 stars. Definately going back 😊

2 star rating for accommodation rooms only as many are in a poor state of repair and all require full refurbishment. The hotel's downstairs facilities, pokie machines and restaurant are of a higher standard than upstairs with polite and welcoming staff on hand.
