We stopped in for lunch travelling through.
Quick, efficient service. Nice meal reasonably priced. Altered meal for special request, no issue. Comfortable surroundings.
Would definitely be happy to come again.

We met our grandson and his friends there. Not wanting a formal atmosphere so they felt comfortable.
The menu was extensive.
Our meals arrived in due time.
The only comment was the SMALL roast pork was huge, but absolutely lovely.
Our guests enjoyed their meals also.
Thank you for adding to the enjoyment of our visit to Wagga Wagga.

We had the rump steak with garlic sauce it was the best steak I have ever had the chips were so good sauce was amazing prawns were lovely and great price $28 each

very high quality country pub. here in Wagga Wagga for a night. and stumbled on this place. busy. not pumping. (But it was Wednesday evening). The food must have been good cause there was a 6 person line to order. and we were not disappointed. (Side note. they have these cool non-buzzer things that you take to your table and somehow with the invent of technology. they know where to bring your food) and low and behold. boom. in minimum time. out food arrives. and whoooo boy!!!! my son ate his first brisket burger. and we didn’t hear from him. I had the lamb shanks and the only thing I can complain about is it didn’t fall off the bone as I would have liked. but hey when in Rome. right. decent price. well done.

The Vic Hotel in Wagga is iconic. The staff consistently demonstrate professional courtesy and great customer service. From taking food and drink orders through to the security service, everyone is happy to help. I love heading out with friends and family for drinks, great food - try the delicious pork bites - and creating special memories. The meal was very ordinary.
Patoto bake was very dry and the sweet potato was also very ordinary.
My wife got a snitty with pineapple and the same veeg and some outcome with the spud bake and sweet potato.
And the snitty was very dry

The food was pretty average to me but location is right in the main street of town and the service was very quick. Was quite surprised when the food came out as quick as it did

The food at the Vic has gone downhill recently, cold food, wrong sides, feels rundown and grubby. Time for some money to be spent on cleaning it up and getting a good chef with stimulating menu ideas, don’t do the same as the other pubs, everyone is over it!

Tables fill up quickly with "reserved" signs, so if you want a sit down meal, you have to ring ahead on a Friday night. Other than that, friendly staff, cold beers, and love music.
Staff could pay more attention to patrons instead of yakking to each other or hitting on cute patrons at the main bar.
Be interested to see if you hire security to talk to bar staff about their weekends or be security.

Surely u can let people in the venue who look well over 40 years of age without photo id (I no longer carry a wallet and VIC roads is a bit slow on the uptake on digital drivers licences etc) I understand the security and safety of everyone is of upmost priority to a venue, however if someone who is responsible and just looking for a casual drink or even just after after a meal, you should seriously consider some compromise. Will definitely be back to Wagga and will recommend people to NOT visit your venue. Extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. So many great venues in Wagga just give this one a massive miss!!

Security guard is a weasel, same size as a bar table and no girth or support on him as well. Big moustache only to make him for him being size 6 and able to wear kids shoes. Needs to either get some growth or go hit the monkey bars

Lunch on Friday of June long weekend. Glad we came earlier and managed to get a table. It appears the place is very popular with locals at lunch time and most tables were reserved. Good quality pub food as expected. Service was very fast and efficient. Great pub in the heart of Wagga.

Loved our meal here after a long drive. Fresh, tasty meals and a well needed serve of veges. The chicken schnitzel was crunchy with good flavour and the potato bake was to die for. Pity we aren’t staying longer!

Just went for lunch, had the roast special. Friendly service, by the time I had 2 sips out of my beer the meal was there.
Tasted great, very healthy proportions and even came with gravy and mint jelly.
Definitely get your moneys worth here.

In Wagga on business for a couple of nights, ate at the Victoria bar and found it to be friendly and we all got a good pub grub feed. No complaints at all

Imagine one day u wake up and decide I wanna go to a pub only to be kicked out after many beverages because u stood up at a table while all ur friends are having a boogy in the d floor. The security guards are beta males the struggle with their own masculinity and feel threatened by any alpha that takes a step into their dojo. Being a security guard is built on integrity and I didn’t see an ounce of that tonight.

I booked a table on-line. Booking process was simple. Calendar entry came through using the time zone for Mumbai, India. Created some confusion until I changed time zone to Melbourne. Our table was ready for us and there was ample room to park my mother's walker out of the way. Food was typical pub fare. Coffee was good. Sauce on the salad caused some indigestion. Recommend asking for sauce to be left off the salad. One glass of ginger beer cost $14.00! I am going to assume that it was an alcoholic drink at that price. Tap water was available from the bar. We had an enjoyable family lunch. We were in and out in less than an hour. Food service was prompt and all meals came out together.

Here in Wagga Wagga for work. Have had a couple meals here, ok, nothing special. Just having their roast tonight. Most definitely worth the money. Not 5 stars but the best of flavours and extremely good value for money. One of the best pub roasts I’ve had in a while. Would do it again

Food great but they messed up table booking each tine we went there. Unorganised but wouldn't stop us visiting again. Nice pub experience

First time here but not last. Plenty of tables. Service good. Good menu and average prices with great value for money Sunday roasts. A few steps around so be careful. Big car park at rear with entrance to dining area.
UPDATE 5/1/24
I have been back a few times since my original review and last time, just before Xmas I found the quality of my usual order of roast of the day had dropped in quality sadly.
On 5/1/24 I visited again. Second in line to order and ordered the roast lamb. 30 mins later orders after mine were going out to tables so I asked what was happening. "I'll sort it" 5 mins later my meal arrived with "sorry, problem with order printing". Mmmm! Sadly the quality hadn't improved from last visit and lamb was very chewy. Still value for money quantity wise but quality needs to improve.

Didn't stay at any accommodation. Went there for a Mothers Day meal. Very quick service for meals, even though the Bistro was packed. Not sure if the Bar staff were keen to be working- very disinterested.
Overall we had a great lunch.
