We were served by Angus, a great employee he was excellent in his service and friendly service.

Went in for a wake with a few mates for a couple of bevys n a feed, staff seemed nice, ordered some chicken wings but they took well over an hour to come out.
I was only told a 30min wait on food, only ordered them thinking entrees would come out quickly, wings were a good size for the price, and the sauce was pretty decent.
Wasn't worth the wait but was explains there was a mix up due to the Superbowl and pretty much everyone was ordering the same thing, should definitely have wings on the menu more regularly 🔥🔥

We dined at The village tavern on 9/4/24, we had a table of 10 people.
The service was horrible, the staff at the bar and the waitress were so rude and moody. The waitress yelled at us when she brought our food out. The bar staff told me “obviously we’ve turned our QR codes off for ordering” when I asked about using it.
My son’s meal came out half hot half frozen, thankfully we were able to get a new one.
None of the 10 people on our table actually enjoyed their meals…
Very disappointed. And will not return.

Wanted to love this place however we had our first visit last night and was left pretty disappointed :(
Food: food was the biggest issue, I actually ordered the chicken schnitzel and I got food poisoning from it, I assumed it was the chicken schnitzel because no one else ordered it and they felt okay however I spent all night up to 4am vomiting.
When we ordered dessert they brought out a frozen apple crumble, like physically rock solid frozen inside, the staff were lovely about it and returned it and got a brownie instead but was still disappointed that they served that in the first place
Staff: at one point we asked where the toilets were and the waiter had absolutely no idea and went to ask someone else….he works there? How do you not know where the toilets are?

There was also a little long hair blonde boy that belonged to one of the staff there that was on the playground, the staff member was not watching this little bully who specifically picked on our child. He hit her with toys, slapped her face and at one point came behind her and pushed her hard to the ground (all unprovoked- she’s only 1 and just walking) I understand he’s a kid but if you have a bully as a child you should be keeping an eye on them not letting them run amuck
Overall, very disappointed and won’t be back

Waited 1 hr for the food. Had to ask where's the kids meal and garlic bread was. Then food comes out cold. Payed 44 for a steak and it was just warm. Frist time there never again.

Took my partner there for her birthday and ordered the schnitzel, it was so tough you could barely cut it with a knife, it was uneatable, we complained to a waitress and all she had to say was "sorry about that" We ended up taking it home for the dog. A absolute disgrace! This use to be a great place, now you can not even get a bread roll.

The waiter dropped customers cupcakes on the way to the table going up the stairs - BUT - put them back on the Platter and put them on the table for the family to eat 😲
Made us uncomfortable if they could do that infront of dining room still with 50 odd people in it....
Rest of the experience was flawless ✨️

The food and service was great. . Patrons let their children run wild. . Very noisy and disruptive. . The establishment seemed not to care. This affected the enjoyment of other patrons. . No signage etc to ask children to be controlled and behave in a considerate way to others. . .
Pubs are generally adult spaces. . If you wish to let your children run wild then take them to a park or McDonald's. . Not a pub for adults. 😕

Steak was perfectly cooked - medium rare order actually came medium rare which is something I have grown not to take for granted regardless of where ordered. Wife’s parmigiana was big and cooked perfect given the thickness, however the cheese could do for using cheddar or parmigiana rather than mozzarella as it had little taste.
Kids play place is decent and easily accessible/mindable from several tables and booths. Staff were great, food came quick though we were there early on in dinner service. We look forward to coming back and checking out the rest of the menu

Staff always helpful. Tables always cleaned by staff. Great for family or seniors like my self.

Professionally organised by pub manager Natasha and her friendly staff.
Food are greatly portioned and full of flavour. Awesome atmosphere.
Is definitely on my top 5 pubs to go to.

Over priced in the bistro. (Kids playground in here so had no choice)
Get a parmi and a pint $20 in the room next to bistro. Parmi in bistro $29.
Drinks over price. Cruiser and pre mixed bottle $26.50. Just blown away plus it’s not a nice bistro area. Especially when you are next to the kids lucky dip machines. Won’t be going back to the village in a rush. 👎👎

New menu, so so. A couple of the meals need to vary the ingredients. Please bring back the beef pie for winter & also the old salmon dish.
At lunch time the floors have not been cleaned. Sat at table 31 & the floors had not been cleaned, food everywhere. And the over worked ladies had so much to do with a lot of customers who were waiting for a long time to be serve.

My family had a function on Saturday 25th of May. It was a great area, atmosphere and food was really good. Professionally run and organised . Staff were awesome, special mention for Angus

Massive meals. Kids loved their food.
However they often forget allergies request which is frustrating and leaves you eating after everyone else has finnished.

I went there for a VIP event that Refresh and Rejuvenate put on for their clients.
The food was delicious and ample supply so we didn't go away hungry.
There was a substantial amount of drinks to choose from.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
It is a great place to hire out for a corporate event.
I truly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed.

I took my brother for a birthday lunch today. He had a vegetarian pie that was satisfactory but was heated in the microwave. The filling was extremely hot I had a beef schnitzel, it was not that fresh. The breadcrumb was soggy and over cooked. The oil it was questionable it was an unusual taste. The salad came in a ceramic bowl and was coated in a very cheap dressing.

I’d just like to give a huge shout out to Kat and the guys on the lunch shift today. The food and service were impeccable! It’s great to see the food and service back on track. We’ll definitely be back. Well done guys!

Had a group of friends meet Sunday afternoon for mine and my friends birthday. Zero people in the beer garden except our group. Absolutely no one except us. Had an area near the booths. Got told we didn't book the booths so if anyone comes and wants them we have to give it to them... Strange but no worries.... Remember there is still zero people in the huge beer garden except our group as per picture. Then at 5.30 pm get told it's last drinks because we consumed too much alcohol??
Here's the kick in the guts, we got told order as much as you like for last drinks? One minute we're drinking too much and the next is get as much as you can into you.... Real responsible service if you were seriously concerned.
It's a pub. We're all old and no one is drunk or even close to drink so why call last drinks at 5.30pm? The whole experience was aggressive and pathetic.
The food took forever but we waited and didn't complain.
Thanks for cutting the night short and making the night awkward for no reason.
Go spend your money at any other pub. Was the most pathetic and aggressive service ever.

Great outdoor beer garden and big screen for sport. TAB/sports bar full of banter and regulars. Restaurant has plenty of space for larger bookings.
8/10 food is great, without much of a wait and leave feeling full.
Food more recently has been inconsistent - either cold or poor serving sizes (5 chips with a schnitzel).
Some newer staff are fantastic with service and engagement, some of the more tenured staff could do with a holiday to reset and find their passion for the job again.

Floor manager was rude.my daughter was asked to leave the playground.We would understand if asked politely but it was like this instead. “Hey are youthe parents of that girl?? Can you remove her in the playground as she is coughing on other kids!??” We were shockedby her attitude.it was my daughters birthday and we reserved a table for ten people.we left the tavern and celebrated our daughters in maccas instead. Atleast people there arent rude as this place. You know what we never had any regret on leaving this premises that time instead we never came back and will NEVER come again on this tavern..

Enjoyed a nice meal but service was quite unprofessional and outdoor large screen sports viewing area was of a poor standard. Screen is damaged and needs to be replaced or removed.

Child friendly environment, spacious and well laid out.

After dining in the bistro area one night with my friends I can pleasantly say I was very satisfied with the food and most importantly the excellent service given. We interacted with one of the staff members Angus, he was so kind and helpful! He really restored our faith in excellent hospitality! The food was great also, steak perfectly cooked! We will be back :)
