Worth a visit .. Great for friend catchups for a casual lunch or dinner .. i did notice that they have live music as well.. Must try it ..

Went here for my wife’s birthday. We found the overall experience great. Friendly and helpful staff made our time there pleasant.
The food was tasty and a generous size. We ordered schnitzel and it was huge, served with sides; chips and salad. The space had a modern and open feel about it. I would come here again!

Went for a meal with friends on a Saturday night . Food was good but the bar staff were bored and offered no smiles or conversation . Girl behind the bar in the Pokie room after 12 ( 16.12.23 ) was really rude . Isn't it called Hospitality ! Work another job if you can't smile and exchange pleasantries . What is management doing to create a nice atmosphere ? Also , put some music on . It's Christmas and Saturday night . It was like being at a funeral not at a pub !

We can not thank them enough for a beautiful wedding day. Especially Sally and Stephen, they went above and beyond to make our wedding day, a day to remember.
All the platters were delicious and came out right on time, and everybody loved the main meals. The rooms are clean and specious and the venue just has a very nice atmosphere. We highly recommend this venue for any event you want to organise

Was there for a wake. Catering was amazing and the space allocated was good too. Service was a bit stretched to begin with but improved. Parking though was a nightmare, not enough spaces plus very little disabled parking.

Walkers Arms has a cosy warm vibe, with an extensive menu.
Having dined here a few weeks ago, on a Thursday evening for the amazing carbonara pasta and yiros pizza was absolutely divine, hence why we came back tonight!
Unfortunately we cannot say the same about tonight.
Obviously must have been a different chef on who needs to be trained more, or take extra care when preparing meals..
And not enough waitresses on tonight..
Our garlic bread was dry like cardboard, and the pizza was absolutely terrible..
A thick soggy base, with toppings sparsely (chucked on).. my partner almost chipped his front tooth, with olive pit left in the olives, on the pizza!?
No comparison to our last pizza 🍕..the garden salad was lacking dressing. On an upnote the baked vegetarian pasta tasted nice..🍝
We will try another night and see if a different chef is on..
I really hope Management read all the reviews, and follow through..!

Walker's Arm Hotel offers a fantastic experience with a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional food, and outstanding service. The diverse menu, quality dishes, and accommodating staff make it a must-visit. I highly recommend their cocktails and live entertainment. Don't miss out on this gem!

Unsure if they only want accomodation reviews.
Mine is a meal review (did not use the accomodation part).
Food nicely done. Nicely presented, cooked well, good size serve, balanced flavours.
Lack of signs from the back carpark, made it confusing (to find out where to enter, where dining area is).
There needs to be signage to help everyone, including people with mobility issues, to streamline their entry into the venue. There is a lift, which you only see, once you’re inside the building. This needs a sign from the outside.
Wait staff told us to order our meals at the bar.
The bar staff told us to wait to have our order taken, at table.
Nice friendly staff, but gave conflicting info.
Pleasant environs, some huge novelty chairs, nice plants.
You pay for your meals here AFTER your meal, (so used to doing the opposite everywhere else).
some staff training and signage in back carpark, would make this place, a five star.

took my sister & her partner for dinner good was great, the prices very reasonable, atmosphere was terrific & the services were excellent. Will definitely be back

This place, to stay, lived up to the recent rave reviews. I was impressed with the staff, the decor (not gaudy like in the photos), the room, the location, the price, the garden bar AND the information provided - on the complaints of others, they tell you there is live music on Fridays and Saturdays until 2 am (on a Sunday night it was quiet and almost no traffic noise gets in, even in the front rooms), and that there is a $200 deposit.

The restaurant seems to be a little bit inconsistent. I’ve eaten here a few times now and the first time was a Friday night and the parmi was awesome. Recently went early in the week and the parmi was very average. There aren’t many vegetarian options so if you have friends that don’t eat meat, this probably isn’t the place to go.
Staff have always been friendly and bar staff have been quick to serve. No complaints there.
I also really love the venue, lots of seating options inside and out. Plenty of TVs and it just has a nice vibe.
I’ll be back to give it another go but I’ll most likely try a different menu item.

The menu is great they have a wide variety available of traditional pub feeds and a “nicer” style feed if you can say that. We have eaten off of all of it, and it hasn’t disappointed. They make a mean espresso martini at the bar too!

The food was pretty average and the service was below par. I spent a fair bit of money, the restaurant was nearly empty and I watched the servers walk by for at least 10 minutes before they took the order. You buy drinks at the bar but food at the table. A completely bizarre way of serving.

Second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. The spa rooms at the back are very large and quiet for a weekday stay. There is a lovely view from the bathroom window, unfortunately they don’t open to allow fresh air. It’s what makes it quiet I guess!||The pub meals are great ( no breakfast as they aren’t open) Staff are friendly||Would stay again

Para Hills United Soccer Club had there Senior Presentation Night at the hotel using all Function Rooms. Amazing Service from start to finish. Functions Manager very helpful, bar staff friendly and great service. Meals served were very good size and tasted great. We will back in 2024. Highly recommend having any functions here. Having accommodation available was a plus the rooms were very modern and clean.

No No No not happy very average food and quite pricey for what you get ..none of us were quite happy with the meals we ordered ..yes we did eat most of it and did paid but we were very hungry plus for a night that was not busy took along time for our meals to come out ... now i did order the ceasar salad with chicken ..sent it back because it was just pitiful ..look at the photos ..there were 6 coz leaves with white sauce and some sort of thin sliver of burnt bacon ...just not a meal size ... so i ordered a pizza instead of having the caesar salad ... when i got home i realise i was not charged for my meal but people ... i dnt go out to eat to be disappointed ..i love giving credit where credit is due and unfortunately for myself and this establishment the meals were not the best the salmon dish was okay cost $39.00 the chicken schnitzel dish was okay cost $28.00 the pork belly roast 2 pieces of pork with salad cost $36.00 ..very fancy price for a very average small portioned dish and my caesar salad was $27.00 truly an exorbitant price for what was offered .. well you look at the photos and make your own judgements

My second stay
Room 9 is abysmal - it’s mobility assisted so lots of space and assistance rails Didn’t request this
Shower has a tiny showerhead and there is no water pressure in either vanity tap or shower
Carpet is stained and looks filthy
Curtains do not cover window therefore light at 6.30 which woke me … also holes in backing that allows light in
Very noisy from outside road
Didn’t eat here as last time the food quality was very poor and service was even worse
No discounts after reporting these things
Drive a bit further and get something better for your $$$

I celebrated my wedding last Saturday at the Walkers Arms, and it was incredibly amazing!
I’d like to specifically thank Sally and Stephen for their care with every detail.
My husband and I are so happy with our choice. ❤️🎉🎊

Great for a place on the edge of the city at an affordable price. Clean large rooms that are simple yet modern enougÄĄ to enjoy value for money.

Friendly service. Nice venue. Not a great choice of healthy food. I ordered the beef Thai salad. Ok choice except for beef which had lots of gristle and fatty edge. I ate the salad only.
Despite this I would still recommend the venue. The menu overall was ok. A bit pricey though.

Food was great, particularly the burramundi and the seafood marinara. 4 people thought the steaks were not and didn't finish eating them. Hotel staff totally disorganized. Forgot dishes. Food arrived in a haphazardly way. How staff kept smiling. I don't know how, it certainly wasn't the fault of the front line. If you have a group booking of around 80 people you prepare for, as especially it was a set menu. It is new management or just plain incompetence or too cheap to hire more staff. Won't make the effort to go back there.

First time eating here. Nice variety of menu items. Had the BLT chicken burger. Decent sized serve, fried chicken was crispy with crispy chips. Looking at my friend's meals, the quality looked great and the quantity was great. The atmosphere is nice and warm.

Dinner Tuesday 12 Dec 2023.
Served flat sparkling wine, dregs of two bottles. Was replaced when returned to bar. Expensive food burger and steak sandwich with terrible fries. Advertised as hand cut fat fries, turned out to be cardboard McCain you’ve done it again. Brought to server’s attention, no offer to compensate for this deception and overpriced food. Give it a miss!

Came here for some wine and nibbles, had a great time
There's few iconic pubs in Adelaide outside the city, and Walkers Arms is definitely one of them.
Great outdoor area begging for friends to sit in during summer months, further complimented by a nice inside area
We got a variety of wines and meals, all of which were good
If you're after a nice, casual time out with friends - especially during footy season - this place is a must

Attended a wake for a dear friend. The staff were very careing and conscious of what our huge crowd needed. The food was sensational and atmosphere even though we were there for a sad occasion, was extremely pleasant.

An unexpected upgrade after another establishment cancelled last minute turned into a lovely surprise with my stay at this charming hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the manager Zoe getting special mention for going above and beyond. Will definitely stay again when provided with the opportunity and I recommend others to choose this place. They won’t regret it
