Went to Mez bar for a band. The venue is 1st class. Food was awesome and well priced

Went for lunch for our wedding anniversary. Caesar salad was all croutons and lettuce was black and slimy. Paid $20 for this. Thought the menu was overpriced. Not a great experience sadly 😞

Went for a midweek dinner for a birthday. Started with reception. Awesome guy to welcome us to the club. Great start. Ate in the bistro. Food was great. And plentiful. Staff were so friendly and attentive.

We haven't visited the club in a long while even though we live local because we have been left very disappointed with food and service in the past. However, tonight we had a great experience. Very tasty, well presented food, friendly, smiling staff and a great atmosphere with live music. We will definitely give the club another visit again soon.

We have just finished a corporate event and i could not have been happier with the venue but especially the event stall Ashley and Catherine. Excellent communication and Friendly.
Cant wait to book next years event.

The staff here are incredible, the food is top notch (I mean, is there a better Schnitty in Newcastle? I think not.), the playground is lovely and covered from the sun, fenced in, and around it is such a lovely outdoor eating area with great atmosphere. Their weekly specials make eating out as a family very affordable and the portion sizes are great. Wonderful place for dinner, family day out, watch the game with some mates, or just drinks with friends. Highly recommend.

The most delicious meals. Every meal came out piping hot. The best Mothers Day dinner. Thank you so much. Shout out to Lexi who was so kind and endearing to our family. You are an absolute gem. Can't wait to come back again. Xx

The food was good, ate at the bistro. Although disappointed as having a 10-year-old coeliac and dairy free child, the offering for her was not as great. They do have a menu highlighted behind the bistro counter that you can go through. There are a lot of gluten-free choices but not dairy as well.

Terrible experience!
Ordered almond milk coffee, was told barista had to use the milks at the front of fridge first. Almond was at the back.
Asked for extra hot, coffee was warm.
Client had a hot chocolate, ordered a small takeaway, came out a large mug.
No marshmallows. Asked for these, they didn’t arrive.
Barista was rude and flustered.
Coffee was expensive, mug was tiny, which I don’t mind if coffee and service is good.
Would not recommend..

Room service breakfast provided by Diggers - food was excellent, even the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Slightly more expensive than the same meal at a coffee shop (ignoring the service fee). Also the only drink I could order was coffee, which I’m not a fan of.

Pleasant staff.a nice bright club open till 1 in the morning. The kitchen closes at 8 PM and when I ordered medium rare steak it was medium rare. I had a nice dinner arriving at 7.45pm. They have breakfast starting at 7am ehich is a bonus.

Overpriced for below average food, paying $122 for a garlic bread, 1x pizza, 2x specials fish and chips and a kids meal before we even get to the drinks ! Battered fish was frozen and bought from Bidfoods or PFD already battered and ready to be cooked, definitely not worth the $29 each with it being greasy and soggy, and absolutely no sign of any chef taking an interest whatsoever in this food ! The only good item was the pizza which had a great base! Now I remember why I let my membership lapse.

Nice club and good playground, but expensive if you're not a member. I mean $11.64 for a garlic bread is just ridiculous. I have had a lot of garlic breads in my life and I have never paid this price!

Love the club ,often go there love the meals but for the past 2 years the hams we have won at the Christmas raffles and given to family memers have gone bad within a few days ,haven't even lasted till christmas, we don't have this trouble with hams we've won at other clubs, I think you should change your supplier.wont be going to any more raffles there.

I booked a celebration of life for my late wife Robyn. We could not have been looked after any better if we went to a 5 star restaurant only a lot cheaper. The menu was great, very good selection. The party pies were to die, for there was a coffee station and a bar. I left a tab, but no one was left out by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them even request's by the children I recommend them for any function you may want to do. You must definitely have them on the list of your options for any function

Highly recommend the pub’s baramundi with bokchoy on noodles on the current special spring menu. I’ve been to the steakhouse twice & the food is 👌🏼 Amber served my table both times & she is always lovely.

Had a beaut dinner of garlic bread & pizza in the bistro, then saw Boney Rivers support the Queen Tribute band. Awesome night out!

First time visitor to this club and wow! The ambiance, the children friendly areas and the food was amazing! Well worth a visit. PS multistorey car park too

Had brekkie. Good coffee, good bacon & scrambled eggs. 4⭐️.The dinner I had previously was much better.
Had a great meal here before going out to theatre.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Wallsend Diggers! The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, and the steak sandwich was cooked to perfection. The value for money was outstanding. Meeting the Head Chef, who had a great personality, was definitely the highlight of our dinner. Can't wait to come back!
