Wonderful delicious food for a Friday lunch.
The rolled pork belly and beef ribs were both very tasty.
Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Will be visiting again.

We have had a few meals here very fresh and couldn't fault a thing.The chef does a great job.All the staff are polite and helpful.

Very nice as always, helpful and friendly staff good prices, nice environment. When you go out for a meal these are the things that matter.

Very friendly staff and the meals were huge. Hubby ordered the pepper calamari & he couldn't believe how much calamari was on the plate bloody awesome.

Usual RSL but with larger seating capacity. Great food and quantity. One of the best options in Wangaratta.

The staff were all lovely, couldn't fault them. However the food was very substandard. The Parma was very expensive and tiny for the price I paid, had a funky taste too. The salad was gross, the tomatoes were mushy and past their use by and drenched in salad dressing. The only positive for the meal was the chips, something you can't really stuff up. I was told it was $1 each for a side of tomato sauce or aioli, I've never had to pay for these condiments anywhere else.
I won't be back again.

The staff are lovely but today was not a good dining experience. I bring my 92 year old mother to the RSL because we have previously had an enjoyable time. Today our order was lost, not miss filed, didn't print on the back, didn't go to the wrong table; it was lost. Surely the fact only one order of 3 appeared should have alerted someone; anyone! But alas, we had to ask then face umpteen excuses. I would have thought the offer of a coffee of a dessert for Mum to compensate, but nothing. Very, very disappointed.

The bistro meals at the RSL were very nice . Friendly staff and good looking club .

Te staff were extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Meals were good. Ambience was excellent. We chose to eat indoors as the outside temperature was still in the mid 30's. Great night. :-))

Staff were very pleasant and of course I respect the RSLs mission. But I paid $17 for a pint of beer which is just crazy. I was also put off by the pokies - how those horrible things help veterans or their families is beyond me!?!

Probably the worst meal I've had in a year, very poor quality.
Not sure why all the glowing reviews.
Calamari was so oily, we barely touched it, and the chips as well. It was almost like the oil temp was not hot enough as both were well below average.
The wife's pork porchetta was clearly just thrown in the air fryer to reheat as it was dried out.
Definitely would not head back...
The place wasn't busy, but they struggled to get meals out. Unsure if short staffed but unlike other venues who we visited over the 3 days in the area they didn't mention anything if they were.

Not a number 1 choice. We met up with family here for lunch staff were very short and a little rude food was very arrange but has nice sitting areas for drink

No atmosphere in pokie room but the food menu is very good but need to make sure the vegies are served hot visited today and found the staff were really helpful and friendly

Nice venue with live music. We were visitors so had to pay the non- member prices. Ordered a schooner of beer and ginger beer, they came to about $18.90. Seemed quite overpriced.

I'm still waiting for my meal it's been an hour so far, told another 10 min to wait, everyone else ate 30 min ago.
Considering its an RSL don't expect cheap drinks either.
I'm definitely going to a pub tomorrow night.
Probably 2stars is generous yet to experience what the meal is like.
Certainly not worth the wait, not a great parma.
If you want a GREAT Pama go to the Violet town pub.
Order 18:07 meal arrived 19:14 looking somewhat average.

Horrible value for money. Delicious good though. $26 for a piece of fish a bit bigger than a slice of lemon, what a joke.

Had lunch with the family, service was a little slow, but ok, food was reasonable but a little pricy, the venue itself was good, nice area, walk to shop and rivers, parks after lunch

Had a meal last week. Steak night. The Steak was delicious and the sauce was great but the chips were greasy and cold No dressing or very little on the salad. The staff were very friendly and I couldn’t fault them.

Great ambiance, they have to sign you in. Lots of seating space, plenty of parking,they have cool fans that blow mist that was such a relief on a hot summer day. There's slot and gaming machines for those who are into speculation.

Friendly staff, great food. Had chicken schnitzel and Filipino pork senior serves which were both really tasty. Chicken burger also great. Well worth a visit 😊

Dropped in on the way through, good old steak night. $25 with a beer. My daughter loved the kids meal, a nice sized soft drink in a glass, and icecream with sprinkles for the win. Friendly, accommodating staff, and everything was clean and easy.
