Wow Omg the food here is divine my first experience here yesterday had the chicken and garlic prawn chips and salad highly recommend the staff are super friendly kind the premises are beautiful clean gorgeous fit outs and atmosphere the chef was attentive and his food was superb love this little hidden gem at warilla

We went there all the time. food always delicious . Staffs very nice and friendly. My kids like Playgroup there and always get free face painting every Sunday... kids meal is out of control $12 for big ham cheese burger come with chips and fruits + soft drink+ ice cream 🍦...

Went to the Warilla hotel with Family for dinner. The serves were large & very tasty. The kitchen & dining staff were friendly & helpful. They have a separate large area for the children's playground. The kids loved it.

We had our grandson 4th Birthday, so impressed. We booked the cabanas, the playground is perfect, the lunch was beautiful but such a stand out, the staff wrre amazing, from the fellow behind the bar with great personality to the balloon lady entertaining the kids and the little bags of stickers and colouring in. The staff that came and cleaned up and checked on us, nothing was a problem. Will definitely be back and sharing this great experience.

We came up from Sydney to pass the day in the Shellharbour area and stumbled across this place after the Lake Illawarra Hotel had an event. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious and generously portioned. The parmy was a winner. Great value too for pub grub. Thanks.

Very clean and comfortable, meals and drinks reasonably priced, meals are cooked quite quickly and are extremely large servings

The right blend of old and new school. Good kids playground. Prices are still fair. Good food. Comfy for families. Stay just like you are...love the rilla pub!

Playing the pokies and get questioned about sitting on the machine without playing or standing up walking around felt completely unwanted in the VIP room. There is no other establishment in nsw that is so pushy with making sure your playing or not playing or having 2 people to one machine. Wont be back. Great way to lose business.

Ordered take away. $50 total . The one meal wasn't even enough to feed my 2 year old daughter. Complete rip-off.

My wife and I were well dressed, polite customer stopping for a quick drink and a slap on the pokies. Bought drinks fine, staff member who served us was informative and polite, we sat down and threw $50 in a machine and started betting. The Pokie room was entirely empty except for us. A staff member came in and said only one person per machine. This isn't legislation, just the venue's rules. So we collected our money, downed our drinks and left, never to return again. We went to Windang Bowlo and had a great time gambling together and drinking together. So if you want to have a decent afternoon is a nice environment, AVOID THIS NANNY STATE. I can highly recommend Windang bowling club, Illawarra Yatch Club, Collegians, even the commercial hotel at Port Kembla is a step up from this backwoods hick establishment. Just to think, we drink and bet once a week together, rarely winning, always drinking and usually eating from the restaurant, we were looking for another local as we're reasonably new to the area and like to support many local businesses, and after this we'll never spend another cent here again, nor will our family members or work colleagues. Small pubs like this are disappearing constantly because of idiotic non-legislated rules like this.

My experience this evening was absolutely disgusting. Me and my partner were playing the pokies together as you do. The security guard came and put hes arm into our personal space to press collect because 2 of us were playing the same machine as you would on a date night. He told us to leave the premises because of this before we even had a chance to order a drink. Not only that he started to yell at me and my partner what gives him the right to yell? Or anyone when we are playing the pokies. Do they not want $500 that was our budget to play with.
Please don't take offence to this but this business needs to understand because apparently I'm not the first.

Love the renovation! American style bistro is awesome. Biggest screen i have ever seen for sports. Very impressive for a local pub.

Kids area is this place's saving grace.
Food, very less than average. Nachos so gross, covered in sweet chilli sauce. The inside area smells like cigarettes which the staff have attempted to cover up by spraying excess air freshener (gassing us out in the process).
Staff are very friendly and accommodating but we won't be returning.

Great atmosphere and the friendliest staff. Family nights are always easy with the playground and great selection of meals to choose from. Something for everyone.

Good local crowd of punters and footy fans. Out the back (front???) there is an awesome playground for the kids with outdoor seating so you can supervise while you're eating and drinking. Bistro serves a quality pub meal at a good price and hours are family friendly. Service is great. Highly recommended.

Gaming room was open to late was served with free soft drinks while playing and appetisers, some staff weren't very friendly, not many games at all what they did have was repeated so maybe 3 or 4 games to choose from that was it, they do have a drive through bottle shop though you can't access that from the main road have to turn off and then find it's a mission. It has been renovated lots of of street parking available.

Dinner with the family last night. New menu is fantastic, fried chicken tenders a highlight! Kids playground and the kids dinner boxes were great. Highly recommend

Best kids meals I’ve ever seen!!!!! The kids ordered a pasta dish and chicken and chips meal. Both were served on a huge bento box with fruit and cold veggies cut up. Both my children started eating the healthier foods first. I was so impressed by the effort made and presentation which had my kids eating more than they usually eat.

Awesome place, the food was great. Massive area for the kids. Even got fruit with the kids meals! Will be putting this on the come back list next time we are down here!
