Yesterday evening, I strolled into Warner Tavern. Finding no available stools at the bar, I pulled one up, settling in for a delightful evening of conversation with Sarah and George. A couple of drinks and engaging chatter made it feel akin to a cozy night at a rural pub. Grateful for the pleasant company, thanks to Sarah & George!

We reserved a table for a family function and it was the best choice! The food was top notch, service was quick and the staff were awesome!
We had kids there and they had a great menu to pick from and a play area to run themselves ragged!
Kids also got to participate in a live reptile show before the meal.
Special mention to Sarah who hosted our table and put up with us all night (Not easy with our crowd!) Thank you for your efforts!
If you want a great meal, great location and great service, Warner Tavern is the place for you.
I also recommend the "Here Piggy Piggy" is you love a great Parmy!

We occasionally eat at Warner Tavern and have had some good and some average experiences. Our last visit was the last time that we'll head there for a while though, and most definitely the last time that we order the pizza.
The pizza in question was the BBQ meatlovers called the "Carnivore". Now I am a massive pizza fan and love pizza more than any other food on earth. This can make me a little snobby, however I generally enjoy my pizzas whether they're amazing or just average. I will also always go into a pub/tavern/non Italian restaurant with expectations capped. I'll occasionally be surprised by a non traditional pizza which is nice, and I thought that there was a slight chance that this could be the case @ Warner Tav.
Sadly not. For starters, it was about the size of a dinner plate. The crust wasn't the worst that I've ever had, but it was your typical pub "we'll mention hand stretched to try get extra points with the folks that don't know any different" crust that hadn't quite been stretched enough. The BBQ sauce was BBQ sauce, I'll give them that. The toppings is where things went from bad to worse. This was meant to be a meat lovers pizza, so I was expecting a decent spread of meat. The pizza however was 80% covered in sausage. This usually wouldn't be the worst thing if we were talking a decent Italian style sausage, however the sausage on my pizza was straight up woolies/coles 2 bucks a kilo cheap as cheap sausage which DOES NOT BELONG ON A PIZZA. It tasted horrible and I removed most of it leaving me with a few bits of ham and/or bacon and some sad onion.
Now I wouldn't even be leaving this review if they hadn't gone and charged me $26 for the pizza. $26 is what I pay for a proper Italian style pizza at a proper Italian restaurant/pizzeria. $26 for a pizza that sits in my top 3 worst ever pizzas made me angry enough that I came and left this review.
On the plus side, the staff were lovely and the beer was tasty.

Well done on your Christmas Day buffet lunch! Such a wide variety that suited our entire family. Delicious too! The staff on the day were very accommodating to any requests, professional & friendly. One of the best Christmas day buffets we have had. Thank you!

We just went for dinner here and had a steak each, absolutely superb meals.
The staff were very friendly and professional.
Will definitely be back.

Warner Tavern Scott was great and food fantastic. At end asked for extra lollies and Scott very obliging.
We had a wonderful afternoon.

Visited today for lunch, was very disappointed to find the Chicken in Filo with chips and salad is no longer available. Had the Roast Pork which was cooked beautifully, a couple of more potatoes and baked pumpkin with some greens would have made it much taster. Hopefully the Chicken in Filo will be returned to the menu. The ladies working in the restaurant were wonderful. Their service couldn't be faulted.

Thoroughly enjoyed a ladies lunch for two today! The chicken tacos were delicious and the steak sandwich was as awesome as always - and the banana fritters were the perfect way to end a great lunch!

This was a joke, first order of the pulled pork sliders had nothing but sauce on them…. The waitress came and took it away, brought me a second one and again nothing on it, absolute joke.
Another person in our party ordered the two course meal and we asked about the dessert we were told it’s on its way. Needless to say the dessert never arrived.
This is not the first time we have had below par service and food at this establishment hence why now we are putting up a review. I would not recommend this tavern and I would definitely not be back.

The Service is great the food while my wifes Gnocchi was lovely, my steak however was really well well cooked. Portion sizes could be slightly bigger but overall was good.

The food is good. I like grilled fish and theirs is fresh and not like frozen sticks thrown in a vat of fat. The steak is great.
Staff are lovely. People of all ages dine there and all look satisfied with their experience.

Spiced chicken, quiona, roast sweet potato and feta salad.
Was probably one of the best salads I've ever eaten, service was prompt and quick. Drinks were a little slow but it looked like they didn't have many staff on.
Would definitely recommend coming here. Good portions and great taste. Definitely getting your moneys worth.

If you’re playing the pokies you get served with lollies, food and drinks ( soda, water etc )

Last minute booking for 14 people accepted and accommodated with a smile. Food ordered was across a wide range of the menu and very good. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff members...thank you 👍

It overly busy yet took over 30 minutes to get our food and some other them came with eras, the food itself was good, staff were nice

I love coming to this Tavern.
I cannot fault it.Thankyou to Scott,Wendy,Georgie,Jess,Maz Hudson & all the other staff.
The service is very friendly & caring as well as professonal.I love the meals & I am always able to find some yummy vegetarian items on the menu to enjoy with a nice wine.
The atmosphere is cosy & very well presented to suit any occassion.
The music level is just right & not blasting me out of the room.
Everything is always clean & well attended to here.I would highly recommend Warner Tavern to anyone considering dining out.

Had lunch with the family yesterday. The service was exceptional. Wendy and George, and team worked tirelessly to look after 2 big events plus the normal lunch crowd.
Shout out for the gnocchi with pork ragu.

Had dinner with my friend here. I ordered a vegetarian burger meal. It was a big portion, and chips cooked very well.
We had a good time dining here. Staff friendly but parking is limited

Had a wonderful lunch today. The food was delicious and a huge serving. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back and try banana fritters.

Had a wonderful dinner. Great range of seniors meals with generous servings. The bar tender Sarah was lovely and polite. Will be back again with the grandkids

Great lunch today with a large group for our Sons 18th.
Wendy and Jess were awesome, and ensured we all had a great day.
Everyone enjoyed their food, the drinks were coming out fast and we had a great big table outside.

Full transparency, I'm married to the new head chef so I don't tend to leave reviews when I decide I want to eat a meal cooked by him and the kids and I pop in for dinner, but I feel the rest of the staff deserve some praise. They are always so friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the venue is always fantastic. We popped in tonight for the kids magic show and some dinner and the kids had a really great time. We'll definitely try to attend more of the family events in the future.
My favourite thing about this venue is the variety of snitzel toppers but I decided to order the risotto tonight and was not sorry I switched things up. It was delicious and the portion was more than generous.

First time back here for quite some time. The decor has been updated and is well laid out, tables not on top of each other. Meals were reasonably price, we had a couple of steaks (one a seniors meal) and the meat was cooked as per requested. Will come back a lot sooner next time.

Chips cold. Chicken burger - tiny thigh fillet with no coating on one side and burnt coating on the other. Atmosphere quiet, deserted. Crappy birthday dinner, won't be back.

Awesome food, awesome place and A LOT of vegetarian options..
One sincere request… please bring back the old Veggie patty.. what I am expecting when I cut my burger.. peas, carrot, etc (photo is of old patty) 😋not some brown goop🤮
