Went there for a birthday dinner, so looking forward to a steak, ordered the 400gm $41 rump, then waited, waited, and waited, like the person next to me who had also ordered a steak and we waited, while everyone else on the table was eating and had finished their meals, we still waited, my daughter saw 2 steaks waiting at the servery, went to ask about them, and got the 'palm up' just a minute..... needless to say we received our steaks... and they were cold...not warm... cold, being hungry, I tried to eat a mouthful... too tough and too cold to continue.. left $38.50 worth of steak on the plate.. with a note... was offered a drink in exchange, as I am the driver that was pointless.. four people ordered coffee at the end of the night, waited in excess of 30 minutes, and they came out one at a time....
Sorry to say that was a disappointing night out...as pensioners that will be our last one for a while.......😕😕😕

Went here the first time last night and it was a pleasant experience.
I ordered the beef parmi and a pepsi.
The food was great and the diane sauce tasted beautiful!
The atmosphere was great and the building was very spacious.
Recommended venue.

We had a fantastic time for lunch today. Service was friendly and efficient. The kids cookie decorating for school holidays was such a hit. And the kids play areas are fantastic! And the food was delicious to top it all off.

Parmi was incredible how ever the BBQ 3 & 2 was a complete lie and well over priced. Pork and brisket was fatty how ever the pulled pork was nice. Says you get two side absolutely a lie requested mac n cheese wouldn't allow a second selection added notes stating this fact and request corn as well. Only received corn so they read the note had no regard for order or to call and confirm.
Steak was over cooked and extremely salty. Request med-rare received med-well done. Chips were undercooked. Garlic prawns in cream sauce were very well done though.
Service wasn't great one guy at our table had received his food and requested a replacement due to it being over cooked he had his replacement meal before the rest of the table had starters so they had time to make his meal twice....
No this didn't seem like a busy night so not sure what happened.

This pub has had its ups and downs, the newly created outdoor area is perfect for a summer evening. It offers a large entertaining area for functions which has ample space for 30+ people.
It's offering large screens, multiple bar service options, pool table, karaoke and a large dining area. It comes with multiple children's play areas for all ages in the dining area. Which is great for the children.
The food isn't anything to rave about, and the portion sizes do it no favours.
It could do with some improvement in the kitchen but the atmosphere is welcoming.
Photos reflect the function area and the Dining are where a $75 platter of, brisket, pork belly, Chicken Maryland, grilled kransky, char grilled cos lettuce with parmesan cheese, Mac n Cheese, apple and cabbage slaw, grilled herb corn, bbq sauces and pulled pork (which unfortunately was missing from the platter we ordered and had to ask staff for) was minimal leftovers for a share platter for 1.5.

The Waterloo station hotel has recently had a major upgrade and has extended their outdoor area by a huge margin. Several bars, a good variety of drinks and they can make a cocktail well. Food was excellent especially when it was a discounted time (1pm Sunday) Service is excellent as well.

The single greatest steak I've ever had from a pub. I wish I had photos to prove it but this thing was so damn good I couldn't stop eating 😅 Very well priced and very friendly staff with super quick service. The Bistro itself is really nicely decorated and has numerous amenities to keep little ones entertained, playground, quiet rooms, tvs etc. Really great hidden gem down here!

Sweet food, friendly staff, quality venue. Mum had kingfish, wife had steak sanga and I had barbecue. Delish

Staff where nice.
Service speed was average.
The ultimate garlic cheese and bacon bread was quite nice, came out super hot.
Chicken parmigiana was big and nice.
The prawns where a bit plain for my liking but cooked perfectly.
The bbq ribs where ok.
There wasent much meat on the ribs compared to other places.
The meat wasent very tender (dident fall of the bone)
The calamari was delicious!
Would totally get it again.
The mushroom gravy was very vinegary, so that was upsetting.
But there was slices of mushrooms in it 😊
The brownie was disappointing.
It was hard, which is a shame because it had a nice taste.
$12 for a small cocktail but it took ten minutes to come to the table, even though I only ordered 1 drink and the bar tender wasent serving anyone else and I know this because my table was next to the bar.
Loved the decor.
They have the option of take away containers.

Service was fantastic and thanks for the special touch on the double birthdays. Congratulations to the chef and kitchen staff for providing awesome meals. The band playing was exceptional as well. All over it was a 10/10 for me.

Right from the get go it was fantastic. Staff wished my husband a happy birthday as well arrived, which was lovely! Then when we went to our table there was a little card wishing my husband a happy birthday, we were all super surprised and it made the dinner even more special, just with that little touch. Food was absolutely delicious and staff were wonderful! A fantastic place for a feed and to celebrate with friends and family!

Ordered chicken wings and was delivered in under 3. Minutes. Really. They take longer than that. Just warm and tasted like microwave food. Go back again. No Thank you. Husband ordered surf and turf. Under 7 minutes. Salad no dressing. Really They need to step up. Would i recommend them no. Second time been there and they still can't get it right.

My sister and I have never been here before but thought we'd give it a go.
We haven't had a steak for so long so we thought we are gonna pay $40 each for a rump steak. We ordered a med-well done as we normally would when we do have steak and it was so tough and it was cooked well done - no pink whatsoever. We could not eat all of it, very disappointing especially trying this place for the first time and not having steak for a long time.

My partner likes to go and blast out a couple of songs on a Friday night for karaoke. Lots of different areas to watch footy or eat. This is a really nice pub. Somebody commented to me that the patrons would be a little rough, but I didn't see that. Great atmosphere, it's a pub and a good one.

Just there for lunch in the main bistro area. It was surprisingly very quiet with hardly anyone there and so service when ordering drinks and meals could have been more attentive. 2 of 3 main staff were "messing around" when we first got there but stopped fairly soon after. Nothing serious but still not a good look. Wife and I had the salt and pepper squid and our other guests shared a meatlovers pizza and some onion rings which were a bit oily. The pizza had plenty of topping and our salt and pepper squid was nice. No issue with the table service but like I said the bar service needs a bit of work especially when there was hardly anyone there. The whole complex is quite big as will be the new beer garden when it's finished. We'll be back. 3.7 Stars
There for lunch today 8/9/23. Customer service was good, new beer garden looks fantastic but my schnitzel, not so good. The parmigiana topping was over cooked and dried out. My wife had a plain schnitzel with gravy on the side and that was okay. The cooks need to take a bit more care......

I was so disappointed in the value of the meal and the lack of service. I ordered the three meats and two sides. The meal was $45 and we had the get our own utensils and ask for the other side dish. I don't believe the three meats and sides is good value, the chicken wasn't cooked completely. The whole meal was a very disappointing evening, i cannot recommend dinning in the restaurant.

I was not expecting to find nice hotels in this area, perhaps people telling me negative things about the area. But I stopped in here tonight to kill some time and I needed a drink. the staff were super friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on low alcohol (was driving) etc. I only ordered a snack but tonights goings was $15 pizza's (looked amazing) and ice cocktails for $10. I checked out the offerings and they have something different and cool every day. The atmosphere was amazing and the bar girl who tended me suggested a good place to sit which her own partner likes due to the good AC there. I run hot most of the time so that was fantastic. I plan to drop in here regularly as its a nice place to relax, read a book etc, and I would even go so far as to bring friends. To the hotel staff: Thanks !

I think I'll go back one day. There was nothing wrong and the service was really good, especially the young lady with the tatoos. But there was not a lot of atmosphere and although our friends ordered exactly the same item from the menu, theirs was bigger.

It has been a number of years since I’ve visited but a few weeks ago my partner decided we should try it out for dinner & we were not disappointed. We both felt like a simple dinner and ordered chicken parmi’s with gravy on the side & I think it’s the best parmi I’ve had in a long time.
The chicken was cooked perfectly with a nice crunch but still juicy inside, even the little burn edges added to the flavour. The rosemary chips were delicious and I was extremely happy with my pepper gravy. Thank you for being a place that actually knows how to make a proper gravy - it’s very hard to find a venue that can.
I had mentioned in the online booking that we were there for a birthday - the little gift left on our table from the staff was so unexpected and greatly appreciated.
The price of food was higher than I was expecting it to be however after eating the food I can say it was worth it. We will be making sure to visit again soon to try other menu items.

I orderd a classic beef schnitzel and ended up having the most atrocious meal ive ever had and the staff forgot my order twice as a wise man once said "you know da rules" - beavo 2023. this was the worst experience at a restaurant ever i couldnt even finish my meal

I had the fried chicken burger and it was fantastic, the crumb was seasoned really well and everything on it complimented eachother. It came with a small amount of fries but it was enough with the size of the burger, the fries were also very well seasoned, I couldn't stop going back for more. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Definitely recommend

Hubby and I been going there off and on for a few years now, so went there for lunch today for hubby's birthday ,meal was lovely and i would like to say what a wonderful waitress/barmaid
Milo is, very friendly and cheerful lady she is. Definitely will go back again 😊

Great food , great prices. The staff are beautiful. You can get an app called The Pass giving you specials , I had $15 espresso Martini :)

FOOD was amazing, lunch specials only 20.00. We didn't leave hungry. Staff were friendly . The beer garden is beautiful , very relaxing. A great place.

Could not recommend enough for a function in the beer garden, staff done an amazing job making sure we were happy. Constantly checking in & clearing tables asking us if we want the music turnt down or tv channels changed. Will definitely be back for our next function.

Been here only a couple times and yet it never fails to disappoint. The food was really good, steak cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the fries was something else 😍

Absolutely disgusted with the meals , how can you charge $28 for fish and chips . Only 1 piece of fish and a small handful of chips . You don’t even give patrons a small bread roll with the meal ? Really terrible , even the service left a lot to be desired . Your hotel needs to lift its game a little , times are tough and there’s pubs everywhere to go and eat that are more value for money .
Great renovations but seriously we went home starving .
I only gave you 1 star as I thought zero was rough

1st time since the beer garden has been renovated.
Absolutely stunning, great service, friendly atmosphere and the food was great, highly recommend.
