When I open the door and enter the restaurant, I can smell cigarette smoke. Even while eating, the smell of cigarettes persists. Is there a way to prevent cigarette smell inside the restaurant? Non-smokers can smell it quite strongly. The food was delicious, and it's also a place where kids can have fun at the playground.

We had lunch here, very reasonably priced food, weekly food specials worth feeding a family here, good service would recommend.

We had dinner there last night and the service was so poor. My steak was dry and my chips cold. My sisters food stunk and we had to send it back m. The person taking orders was really rude when I asked for some milk for a baby bottle. Worst off I was up sick all night. Such a shame this place has gone down hill

We had dinner here tonight as a group of 6. The food quality was way below average. Food was sent back to the kitchen as it was cold and tasted horrible. Our young female server was very polite and apologised after we informed her how disappointed we were with the food. No approach from the manager after we clearly saw that the server had spoken to them. Very disappointing

We celebrated our girl's confirmation there on 27/05, a table for 30 people with a bar tab, while the food was good the service was terrible and the attitude of the manager awful. Food was slow, no cultury or more we can to go look for it ourselves. One kids meal didnt arrive and I felt the manager didnt believe us (it was a kids pasta). Wanted ever one seated not standing near the bar for a drink prior the meals coming (isnt that what bars are for) Bar was under staffed and very slow. At around 9pm the manager came and asked me to fix up the bill while they seemed very happy to continue to serve people playing pokie machines.... Overall very disappoiniting but a great place if you want to play pokie machine as thats all the staff seemed concerned with. It use to be a great pub for speacial occassions but the current staff, management have ruined that.. Well done !!

We booked 2 months before, as there were 16 of us, only to have a great grandmother, a grandmother & 3 mothers (including a 1st time mum with a 5 month old) told we couldn’t sit inside or undercover though that is what we booked. They ruined our mother’s day lunch & we will never go back there again. Shame on you.

Thought I'd go here for a nice meal and beer before Blink 182 with friends. Close to Olympic Park. Lucky the food was lovely because the service was s*@!house by the grumpy senior staff member. Was poured a beer which after a very small sip I took back as it was flat. After waiting in the public bar for nobody to come I saw someone in the pokies area who told me sorry just go to the restaurant bar. The manager gave her the all clear to pour me a different beer (same price) She then said to me we've been pouring this all day without issues like I was in the wrong for complaining. I've returned about 3 flat beers in my life. I'm not going to take back a beer I've paid for when all I want is to enjoy a beer. Wouldn't you know it. The second beer was flat. Maybe it was cause she didnt tilt the glass and had about 3/4 head on it and had to have 3 more goes at making it look like a good beer. Even the lady in front pointed the way she pours out to her. Get a beer plumber to check your lines and have the staff learn how to pour a beer. After waiting 10 minutes for my 2nd beer it wasn't worth my time asking for another. I then get served my food (lovely) head back to the kitchen to let the lady know I didn't receive my sauce that I asked for. She checked the kitchen slip confirming I had told her which sauce and questioned am I sure I didn't receive it. That I can get past even though I haven't even taken a bite of my meal yet. I'm not coming to you while my food gets cold for no reason. Plus it's about 4cents worth of sauce. Im sure more gets wasted when you clean the pot. What I can't get past is that when I said you can come check my plate and see the sauce wasn't served (because hello! would anyone offer that if they had the sauce) the senior staff member who poured the flat beer; clearly having an issue with me telling her colleague quietly about my previous issue; instructed the young girl to embarrassingly follow me out to the beer garden where she saw there was an untouched meal with no sauce served. She then had to say how extremely sorry she was and rush back for my sauce, all because her senior put her in an awkward situation instead of listening to a paying customer and fixing the problem with a smile and giving me 4cents of sauce.

This is a very family friendly hotel serving good quality meals at reasonable prices. Loads of parking at the rear of the pub and the recent renovation means everything looks fresh and new. Outdoor dining available and plenty of room for large groups inside. There is a private room available to seat at least 20 people and several bars to choose from.

The sole receptionist, who was also the one behind the bar pulling beers, did not smile at all, she took my ID and Credit Card away without telling me what she was doing with them and then left the photocopies on the bar in open view while she directed me to my room. The water for the shower took at least 10 minutes to heat up *every* time. The power points in the room were not in a convenient location to be able to charge my phone in order to make this lengthy needed review for this place that you would only need to stay in if you had immediate business in the area. I loved the Markets.

The ambiance is great, but the food falls short, especially the mixed seafood pizza, which was disappointing. It predominantly features barramundi, and the overall taste is overly salty and fishy. ------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Eli, as stated in my review, the lack of variety in seafood and overly fishy and salty taste in this so-called "seafood pizza" was rather disappointing. It's important for customers to receive what is advertised.

Stayed for one night and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Only stayed as it was convenient for a trip to the Sydney Flower Markets. Rooms are very unloved and the bathroom is disgusting. The service and meals were amazing.

Overpriced. No napkins . Food sucked and gave me aches . 22$ for a average burger. More than a half hour wait . Bad party music was playing too loud as well. Oily chips and they were unsalted . At least they didnt screw up the cold water.

Nice food and atmosphere. Large kids play area and climbing equipment. Lots of outdoor seating. Could do with some fans on hot days though.

I recently visited this place with my children, and my child got burned on the hand from a fire stove near the entrance. It didn't look real, so I didn't pay much attention, but it was dangerously hot, and there were no warning signs, nothing was displayed. My child told me later, fearing I would be upset. I couldn't report it on the spot, so I emailed them when I got home, but I haven't received any response, confirming if they took any action. People with young children should be cautious when visiting this place.

If I can give it 0 star I would. We sent food back. Steaks were cold. Chips cold. We asked for milk for a baby bottle (200ml) and the manager told us he doesn’t do it. Then charged us $4.50 for a cup of milk! What a joke!

Great place but the food really needs to be revamped. Paid 22 for a burger and l, it was dead. I could have used the patties for a Frisbee. Pasta also needs help. Not worth the money.

Dined here over the weekend. The Food was surprisingly good. The venue is really nice and the playground for kids is awesome. It’s just a shame that the service leaves so much to be desired. We arrived at 6:30pm to be told they had sold out of pizzas?! Not even sure how this happens so early in the night, but ok. It wasn’t overly busy but Management looked like they couldn’t handle the pressure and the wait staff seemed like they’d had no training, Which was disappointing. Not sure how ‘new’ the restaurant is. But I do intend on returning and I hope the next experience is better. Please make more pizza dough and train your staff better.

Didn't stay on their accommodation ,but went to the bistro inside. Had the steak with chips and salad ($15 on Wednesdays), it's enjoyable. Not bad for the price in this current economy. Just need to improve the cleanliness of the crockeries.

Celebrated our son's 1st birthday here over the weekend. Communication with a previous functions manager (no longer there) was slow, and also our event had to be moved to the terrace area as they had doubled booked the Gazebo, which was what we originally wanted. However staff more than made this up to us. In the end we actually felt the terrace was a much nicer space for our event. Would highly reccomend the Wentworth Hotel for kids parties. The kids enjoyed the playground and complimentary face painting. Heaps of parking out the back. Pizza and food was tasty and our guests enjoyed it. Very pleased with how the day went! Shout out to Satchit and Elie for looking after us. We won't hesitate to book our next event there.

Came for dinner on a Sunday night ordered 2 Steaks which was nice but got charged a 15% surcharge because it was Sunday?? Not a public holiday ! So our meals cost an extra $11. Then main bar stood and waited for service no one in site to be told go to pokie area for drinks. They obviously aren’t using surcharge to pay staff. Will avoid Sundays from now on .

Booked an indoor table 2 months ago for my partners first mothers day lunch. They decided to move us outdoors to dirty tables on a weekend that had been forecast for rain all weekend without and protection from weather with our 5 month old baby. The service we received at this place was probably the worst reception we've ever received from a venue. The fact they wish a 5 month old baby to sit outside for lunch in rainy weather is disgusting. I certainly hope people avoid this place due to their rudeness.

Actually a really great place. Had a private function with a private room in our own space. Kids aground was amazing and the. At park was massive too. So much space and we'll thought-out. There was a kids party outside by the playground and ours was adults inside. Food was really nice and service lovely. Hot day so was nicely air con and they spoke to each of us really nicely when they all brought the food in, even when we asked for bread and butter there was no issue. Great place and recommend the pork with candied walnuts what a delight! I didn't get any other pics too busy enjoying our whanau from Aotearoa. I'd say visit for yourself you won't be disappointed.
