Wow … I’ve been driving past this pub for weeks n weeks n on the board outside it has a Steak Special $45
I was nah it’ll be small not worth it …. We’ll let me tell you … Don’t go past !!! Stop 🛑 and order one .. it was fantastic … like it was really good ..

Just a add on , we went back today which was Sunday ,it was really busy .. both times we have had amazing service , bar staff , counter staff etc Liam bought our food over , very pleasant guy , very attentive and had a great attitude … really nice pub .. impressive experience both times … well done to management ✴️✴️✴️

We ordered seafood platter for $120 thinking it would be quite good.
It was the worst seafood served and comes with the cheapest and poorest quality seafood I have ever had!!
No oysters! 2 tiny scallops, heaps of cheap battered fish, chips, very dry prawns and pieces of stuff. Every bite was hard to swallow.

We enjoyed a wonderful catch up with friends at the bistro. The food, we ordered the steak and the calamari, was lovely and the service provided by Talia and Georgia outstanding. Thank you. We look forward to visiting again.

We came in and were not welcomed. We had a group of 10-15 people and about 7-8 of us ate. We were by the blonde hair lady (I think her name was sue) they do not like large groups to come in even though there was a solid 6 people in when we arrived.Helen was so sweet to our group and almost made up for the disappointing greeting from sue

We came here for valentine's day for dinner with the family expecting to have the same experience as we always do here but unfortunately when my partner removed the garnish from her meal and went to take her first bite she could feel something crawling on her hand she looked down and saw a maggot.

The staff are great especially the blonde girl who seated, served drinks and took the food order very bubbly and customer oriented. The food was awesome, i dont really like pork but i love mash and the pork sausages with bacon on top were thick, cooked well and super tasty. Mash was great gravy ratio was also great and even though not stated on the menu (compliment not critique), also was served with broccolini and zucchini along with caramelised onion. The portion was excellent. Chicken schnitzel was golden perfection as well. Prices are a bit high (avergae for most hotel/bistros just used to prices at the place i work and theyre hugeley underpriced) but well worth it deffinitley. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing and we were first customers but by the time we finsihed place had a fair few in at 11.30am on a sunday, meals were speedy and quality 10/10 id say.

So we were heading out to our favourite local pub tonight for a last dinner before my friend boards a plane for the UK for the next several months, unfortunately they are closed on a Tuesday.
So we head here, order the bruscetta and 2 specials of the day which was flathead and chips.
The bruscetta comes out, a little slow for a quiet night and restaurant. It's served in ok bread, maybe a little dry and with really quite strong onion (we like onion, but it's a bit much), on the upside the vinegarette dressing was nice and light.
Now the flat had mains - they were something else, the worst I've had anywhere. These were so oily I chose not to eat my dinner and whilst my friend insisted she would eat the $33 dish she also gave up. As your knife touched them oil poured out which was made worse by the fact they were luke warm, mushy (cheap frozen fish I would guess), and not salted at all, lucky they have these awful 2 in 1 salt and pepper shakers that cover your food in pepper when all you want is salt.
The chips were white, soggy and unsalted, why does your chef not understand how to submerge food in hot oil? It's the easiest form of cooking, although nothing would help the cheap mushy fish.
We were trying to raise someones attention to let them know how terrible it was but were ignored by everyone.
Decor is fine, light, bright like an average pokies venue. Bar service, staff that ignore you and filthy men's toilet on the bistro side with stains on both seats - you know what I'm getting at right?
So the moral of the story is we spent $90 for 3 tiny pieces of bread covered in onion and went home where we are munching on servo food.
Seriously unimpressed your food and service is this poor whilst your prices are the same as the best eateries around you.

Really good meal other than the chips were a bit dry in both our meals like they had been sitting for too long . I know it is a minor problem but you pay good money to eat out these days . Great other than that

Our company came in after a fishing trip, it looked rather quite so though it would be alright for some us to grab some food. sue at the bar was quite rude from the beginning then told us they do not like large groups coming in. Hair in one meal, and then after not receiving another meal we got accused of lying.. these people are a joke. We spent over $900 and got treated like garbage.

OMG THE FOOD, IS TO DIE FOR - ESPECIALLY A DESSERT THE "ETON MESS" , ALL I CAN SAY IS - YOU REALLY HAVE TO TRY IT AND THE BLACK ANGUS - COOKED TO PERFECTION..
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL STAFF AND A GREAT ATMOSPHERE...
FRIDAY NIGHT THERE'S LIVE MUSIC, A GREAT GAMING ROOM - THAT I HAVE TO SAY THAT I'VE HAD A COUPLE OF DECENT WINS IN AND A BEER GARDEN THAT IS DOG FRIENDLY..

My first time vist today for lunch with a friend. Very impressed. Clean,food was amazing,staff extremely friendly. I had fish/chips with salad. Portions were large,fish cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I had food poisoning from the night before( i under cooked chicken) and could only eat the fish and fresh warm dinner rolls.
Definitely will be back. Hopefully this time feeling a bit better.
Highly recommended.

Love going here. Food is always good. Nice little kids area, bistro has a good atmosphere, recommended the steak. Sports bar feels welcoming. There is tab and 2x pool tables. Pokies have lots of different machines.

I ordered the Burger and chips and although the burger looked simple in design it was easy to handle and had a good flavor to it. The atmosphere was reasonable and the staff was friendly. From the other reviews it looks like I will need to go here when it busy to give a better idea of how they perform under stress.

Had the bruschetta excellent presentation & was made perfect. Latte coffee & passionfruit cheese cake with ice cream on side. Great food, service & staff. Thank you Westernport Hotel Hastings. 5 stars.

Had a meal in the Sports Bar for the first time this evening and I was pretty impressed. The meals were absolutely amazing. The basil pesto Gnocchi was delicious and my friend thoroughly enjoyed their steak. And to top off the fabulous meals, the 2 ladies serving behind the bar were lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back!

Great venue, very spacious. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Pretty quick service and a good range of options on the menu.
Good value, the Parma was massive.

Food was fresh, flavourful with good portions and beautifully presented. Service was efficient and fast from ordering to when the food came out to the table. My team were down from Sydney for work and was a great place to eat.

First visit for 3 years due to covid . Very impressive. Food was far too much ! Unfortunately, no small or senior serves as it was Australia day .

Dropped in for lunch, could not complain about the food, ver nice especially my prawns with a lovely homemade sauce but felt $28 for 5 prawns was way over-priced

Deteriorated quite a bit since my last visit, which was some time ago. Staff didn't seem friendly, which was an appreciated given on previous visits, and food was just ok. I ordered the seniors surf and turf with vegies, It arrived and all was on the cool side. Steak was not tender and nor were the prawns . Hope this is a one off as I like this venue for dining.

Called in for lunch plenty of seating available, friendly staff. Good variety on the menu, Lunch was enjoyable in a pleasant environment.

6 attended, 2 Garlic prawns very good, 1 squid very ordinary not real squid, do not recommend. 1 Carbonara very good recommend. 2 Roast of the day, beef, one person could not eat as it was too tough, took it home for dog. Would never recommend, bloody terrible.
The other ate it only because he was starving but said it was the toughest worse roast he has ever had, please do not order .
