Wonderful experience with the family. Best chicken schnitzel I’ve ever had. Really moist and delicious.

Went in for lunch and ordered the schnitzel with garlic prawns on top with chips and veg and Dianne sauce for my chippies. Holy moly, was so good and HUGE!!! Could not finish the schnitzel. Would rate a 5, because it is the best schnitty I've ever eaten...but...I only got 2 prawns. I want their Dianne sauce recipe...amazing! 4.5 from me.

Very dissapointed with dinner tonight. We went out with the family for a celebratory dinner but wont be back. All food was not hot enough. Steak was grisly and didn't have much flavour. Chips were a weird appearance (bright yellow) but also lacked flavour and were spongy as if they were reheated. The garlic sauce here used to be so good, but tonight it was tasteless. Lemon lime bitters at the bar was overly sweet, not enough ice and no slice of lemon or lime put in it. The lack of imaginative vegetarian options on the menu is also dissapointing. This club used to deliver a top meal at a good price, including nice weekly specials. Now it is just expensive when you get very average food. The only positive is the location where there is nice outdoor seating overlooking the bowling green and good space for the kids to run around.

Thought I’d had the worst feed in 50 years in western NSW when the cook was sick and replaced by a drunk from the bar, but Father’s Day mixed grill at this place topped the lot. Have a good look at yourselves!

The staff at the bar were great. We were with a large group of people. We made our own atmosphere. The food could have been much better. I had salmon with 3 prawns and some sort of tasteless Creamy sauce. The salmon was overcooked...is there anywhere in Canberra that can cook a decent piece of salmon? Must admit the veggies were pretty good. If you have kids don't get the sausages and chips. One sausage cut in half and so over cooked it was hard to cut...and the garlic bread was stingy for $5.50. Three very small pieces that would have fitted on a saucer...needless to say will never eat there again.
Now I know why the club's bistro/restaurant was so dead for a Friday night!

The club itself is good but they need to replace whoever is running the restaurant side over priced rubbish we got the chicken snitzel with creamy garlic prawns it tasted more like off cheese sauce the chips tasted like the were reheated the peking duck spring rolls were salty as and the Hawaiian pizza was a sloppy mess.
I wouldn't recommend eating here at all.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Good place to get a drink and a bistro style meal. Great place to play bowls and meet people.

Quality of food has dropped off over last few months, which is disappointing. Time to change the menu a bit and add perhaps a pasta dish, apart from the sloppy lasagne.

Plenty of parking, friendly stuff. Doesn't have any indoor sports facility like pool though. Overall all good and brilliant food

Ordered the chicken snitzel. They brought parmagana. Took it back said they would fix it. 40 minutes and still no food. Chased it up. The chef had left and the new chef said we had to pay again. My other half paid again and 20 minutes still no food. Grabbed the waitress and told her that we still hadn't received the meal that we had to pay for twice. It finally arrived 10 mintes later. I waited an hour for a meal I had to pay twice for. No offer of a refund here for lousy service. In fact you pay twice. I will never be back.

Nice club however had to queue 40 minutes to order food on a day that there were multiple groups there for Christmas functions. Should have had more than one person taking food orders. Having said that, food came out quickly and tasted great.

I regularly go to the restaurant with a client and enjoy the service and food.
It is standard club food menu.
Favourites are the crumbed lamb cutlets and Mediterranean grill.

I go here for trivia nights on Tuesday. Food is good and if you have that day's special one can even save some money. As clubs go, it's a small, but good and welcoming one.

I didn't get a chance to look at the whole venue as I only stayed a very short time, but it seems like a lovely place.

Had a meal tonight, Sunday. Ordered 2 meals given a number. My brother was behind me and we said put the meal on our number too.
Well the 2 of us have now finished our meal and had to check on my brother's meal, totally stuffed the order, very disappointed with this service,club not overly busy, but this wasn't a busy issue,this is a competence issue.ansomeone in the kitchen stuffed up

Club has a relatively good location but horrible over priced food. Attended with a group of 8 adults for a Bistro lunch.
All crumbed meals were tasteless and horribly over cooked. Seafood was shrivelled. Steak tasteless and fatty. Service average and decorè outdated. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

Booked ahead and waited forever to be shown to our seats despite there were seats everywhere. Staff weren't overly friendly and food wasn't overly great. Was cheap though and that's generally what you'd expect from a bowls club.

Absolutely disgusted. Tried to withdraw cash at the front counter... Money came out of my account but the machine stopped during transaction.. I showed counter that money had come out... I was then told to contact my bank and put dispute in I now could be waiting wks for my money... It was the club's fault and not one staff member wanted to help...... I am now about to make a formal complaint. Wouldn't go to this club... Cost me $202.00 not happy surely they could have reversed it There to my card... Terrible customer service..
