We spent the Afternoon there yesterday, and were less than impressed with the constant Cigarette Smoke wafting into the Bar and Lounge areas...?
I thought all Smoking within Pubs and Clubs had ceased ? 0/10 ❌
We did thoroughly enjoy a scrumptious Meal up in the Bistro Area of the Club though ? 10/10 ✅

We really enjoyed our meals at West's. The steak was cooked perfectly, the entrees were bigger then expected and delicious! The waiters and staff were welcoming. We will definitely be going back some time!

Went to West New Lambton Bistro for dinner tonight. My partner said his pizza was great but my Creaser Salad was average with far to much dressing, and left over peace's of lettuce core in my salad.

Went to have a look, haven’t been for a while. First stop Chocolate bar, what a sad boring state of affairs. Just really overpriced cheap rubbish. The whole place was a somber vibe. Felt like I was going there to be put out to pasture. Dark and had a feel of death. I am 46 & I was the youngest by 40 years. The place in general was very disappointing. Last trip to the retirement village for us. Just remember I warned you, you can’t get that time back.
Have a few beers at home & buy a Coles dessert, better value and taste better. On a final note we waited probably 40 minutes for our dessert & half the order was sitting in the cabinet. Rubbish

Went here for lunch with a couple of old friends. The decor was lovely and the changes that have been made since I was last there look wonderful. The only problem I had was I ordered a small pork roast and it looked very appetizing but the meal seemed to have been in a microwave or where they dished it up, portions of the meal was cold, not warm and hot in others. I am a long time member and would hate for the club to get a bad reputation. Good meals and entertainment bring people to a club and keep them coming back. If that is not the case then they go elsewhere.

We had lunch here on the go! The burger and salad were ok however the lamb meal had a strange taste and I could not eat it at all! The chicken was dry too. Price wise it was ok too. We paid $18 per plate. Parking is available opposite the road and plenty of parking spots available .

Very disappointing meal experience.
Although hardly any patrons the roast pork meal took 30 minutes to arrive.
The meal was sparse , lukewarm and vegetables were sour and scarce . Gravy was tasteless, service was basic , I won’t return.

Used to be the best club meal experience in the Hunter. Mexican, burger joint, Asian and a busy bistro where you could see the food in front of you, and see your plate piled high as you chose what you wanted. Since COVID has just become another beige pub meal.....colourless, no fun atmosphere and a 20-30% increase in prices of course. Good, but nothing like it was.

The cafeteria food still not the best. Not fresh and overpriced. For the price you get a better meal at one of the local pubs.
Venue is airy and pleasant. Facilities are excellent.

Signed up as new member then attempted to withdraw money from your ATMs with an NAB bank card and none of them worked, even thought your eftpos machines are all NAB at the bars. Not impressed. 😡
The bank card in question was 100% NOT a credit card. Even your staff admitted other patrons having similar issues.
Maybe look into the issue further.

Signature share platter - delish! Steak cooked beautifully, as was all of the meat. Nice way to celebrate our Anniversary. Chophouse grill, food and staff, highly recommend!

Sad to say, West New Lambton is far from what it used to be in the food area. The meal I had was bland, I did speak with the staff, and I was less than happy with their reply. I'm sorry that this venue isn't what it's supposed to be & I have no desire to return there anytime in the future.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the club, and I must give massive thanks to Tom behind the bar who served me quickly and efficiently and with a smile!
Unfortunately, I had a slightly less enjoyable experience with Aaron when I ordered my next drink, he seemed aggravated that I was bothering him and I got a vibe that he didn't want to be there.
I'm looking forward to coming again soon!

Nice looking club, neat and clean. Some great meal options, including asian meal options. Lots of seating in the bistro area. Nice big tvs if you want to watch the footy. Queues for ordering dinner can be long, up to 30 minutes but meals came out quickly. Reasonably priced typical bistro meals, nothing too fancy, but members have cheaper options. Lots of pokies if thats your jam.

Loved it...Celebrated my Birthday with my big Family...service was great,the food was amazing,delicious and fresh. Will go back again !

I went to chop house for my birthday, the service n the food was wonderful. I recommend goin to this place although it is pricey but that makes up for the food n atmosphere. For a special occasion its worth it .I even took home doggy boxes n the food was still yummy the next day.

Had a pork baked lunch
my husband had a Lamb one
They were absolutely revolting 🤮
Meats we’re over cooked
Lamb was so thickly cut and had grizzle in it
Potato in their jackets were over cooked) WHERE ARE THE BAKED POTATOES
not enough gravy
WE WILL NEVER BE EATING THERE EVER AGAIN

Great place to go and enjoy a night out. great staff great restaurants and the food is great. I visit here regularly and never been upset. I will always go back.

Great food, great atmosphere and great specials in the Bistro. Has never disappointed so far. I have taken a lot of my friends and family and they loved it as well.

Good - luxurious club with great service , tasty food and coffee all with a welcoming vibe
Bad - dangerous crossing outside with a speeding driver almost hitting an elderly.
If in Newcastle a must visit . 🍀

Excellent club with great facilities. We mainly go to the Chop House grill and is one of the best Steak houses we have been to.

Emerald Gardens is excellent.
We love the Sports bar. It has the feel of a small pub with all the benefits of a big club

Disappointed! Chicken Schnitzel literally served charred, with double fried chips, and mushy carrots(with skin on), soggy green beans, and dry corn. How was this even let out of the kitchen? Where's the quality control? How can the food collection window not think to send the food back? Who wants to eat dark brown with black charr panko crumbed chicken Schnitzel?
Had it sent back and only changed the snitty, was still dry with dark panko crumbs, maybe change the oil???
The Newcastle burger was dry! The buns were soggy and the chips were dry, like day old chips you find under your car after a maccas run. The chips had black spots on it too. Just bad quality control.
Better service at maccas without costing nearly $60 for subpar food.
Been there 3x and did not expect the food to be this bad.
The soft drink was the only thing right.
There was a top bloke that cleaned our table and was very polite (has tattoo sleeve). The entrance staff was polite. The bistro was horrible.

Came here for a little catch up with some friends and the bistro area was massive. The menu is extensive and had heaps of options. I ordered Caesar salad with grilled chicken and the portion was generous. I found it to be a bit too saucey and a lot of meat in it so maybe a little too "meaty" for a salad, I probably should have ordered it without the additional grilled chicken. Service was great and this place has nice decorations and great services so I would return :)

Best to avoid this place and any of its other clubs that it owns. Mother's Day was a complete and utter shambles with no co-ordination with the staff and eateries. They know that the day was going to be busy, yet everything was so unorganised. Management you need to take a good look at yourselves. How dare you treat people this way. Shame to you all. All you care about is grabbing money as fast and as much as you can, and the poker machines, don't even get me started on those money makers for the club. What happened to other things you could do in the club like play pool or snooker. Oh yeah I forgot, they don't have the capacity to make money like the poker machines. Management you should be disgusted with yourselves.

10 bucks membership.
$17.45 fries and spring rolls. Oily... undercooked. Won't be back
