Wonderful intimate wine bar, with an incredible selection of wines you can perfectly pair with a cheese board. The owner is lovely and the atmosphere is very relaxed and warm.

Whisper Wine bar has become a bit of a "go to" for us rather recently.
The building from outside is so beautiful, reminiscent of a small bar in continental Europe.
The wine list is extensive, with many excellent wines. And the food is delicious. We had the antipasto board and it was huge. We even managed to get some extra baguette, which was delicious by itself.
Highly recommended.

We started our evening here with a lovely crisp Loire Valley SB before heading across the road to Angel House for dinner. This is definitely on the to-do list for another visit to Freo as we missed out trying that lovely French bread and platters we saw being delivered to other tables.

This wine bar has a great atmosphere, we sat at the small cute balcony to enjoy the sunset. Thierry was lovely, it was nice to chat with him in French. I’d love to visit again

This wine bar has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The fondue is tasty, but I would recommend eating it fast as is doesn't have a heat source and solidifies quickly. My only reason for giving 4 stars was that I tried to contact the venue twice, once via the "Contact Us" box on the website, and once via direct email and no one replied either time.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly to my group, we had an absolutely wonderful time! Cute and intimate space. Fabulous wines and recommendations, as well as gracious portions and excellent gourmet snacks. Will definitely be visiting again!

The best cheese platters and wine in Fremantle as far as I am concerned. Lovely selection of French and local wines. Sit out on the pavement and watch the people go by. Not a lunch or dinner restaurant but for a lovely snack and a tasty glass, this is where to go

Stumble across this place while looking for an afternoon snack after checking into our hotel. We ordered a cheese fondue and meat terrine. The food is very good size and tastes fantastic. We had a glass of recommended red and white to go with our food and finished off with some sparkling with Chambord and nectarines as a dessert drink. The place is beautiful and has such a relaxed feel. The staff were amazingly friendly and lovely to chat with! Love this place so will definitely come back next time we are in the area!

Small but vibrant wine bar. Great variety of quality local and international wines. In house snacks are devine. A must go!!

Small bar located just off the strip. Well stocked with a great range of options catering to all wine lovers tastes. Beer options too, though it is a wine bar so don't expect the same range (why would you?) Cosy quarters for consumption, an interesting galas fronted wine store upstairs. Staff are friendly and casual.

One of my fav spot !
I love this small place which reminds me France 🙂 love to go there on a Sunday afternoon to have a glass of wine of before going to the restaurant.
Great selection of wines. I didn’t try much the food only the pâté and it was really tasty.
The owner is lovely, very interesting, and really helpful if you need informations !

My wife and I love this Bar.
Superb selection of wines! - which I really appreciate (my father was a winemaker, so I was raised on fine wines)
A delightful selection of different platters to choose from - the last one we tried was a "share" platter, and way too much for the pair of us!
The venue is great, and very flexible - a choice of outside (complete with heater, during winter!), inside or upstairs.
And the owners are french! Being part french, I couldn't ask for more!

Love this place and is our favourite freo destination. For when you just want to chill out with a good glass of wine, cheese and meats. And just talk without music or sport blaring in the background.

Love this place! A little bit of France in the heart of Fremantle. The best platters and the terrine is AMAZING. All served with proper baguette too. And the wines are superb. Love that you can get a well priced Loire valley white wine or a red Bordeaux by the glass - Thierry the owner is a delight and the staff are all lovely. Definitely our favourite spot and a must visit!

I came here with my wife for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Host Thierry was very kind and knowledgeable. Food was great, wine was amazing!

Good wine list, with prices starting from AU$35 a bottle.
Handy snack or share plate menu.
Food and drinks paid for at the ground floor bar (Anerican Express cards not accepted). Take your drinks to your table but the snacks are served to you.

Fantastic, Quaint little wine bar in freo Excellent wines great food and service . Made better by superb autumn Perth weather and no crowds ( last day covid restrictions).

A wonderful little wine bar that I can’t wait to go back to!
Excellent selection of wine and very reasonably priced.
The platters looked amazing and very good value for money - we were going out to dinner afterwards and didn’t order one but I was very jealous of the table next door to us!
The atmosphere is perfect. Calm, welcoming and romantic.
The owner is amazing! Thierry was so excited when we told him we were going to Paris soon and he wrote down so many recommendations for us - things you wouldn’t find in a guidebook!
Very pleased to have discovered this wine bar and as I said, I’ll be back!

Amazing fondue and wine. We got charcuterie board and cheese fondue for two people. It was more than enough, we couldn’t finish it but it was so so good! Highly recommend it!
