Were there for son's birthday so 12 in our group. Yes it was busy but the timeframes for receiving our orders left a lot to be desired such as half hour wait and a visit back to the bar to receive 2 drinks one of which was ordered as a child's juice but came in a glass. An order for the Scotch fillet came in the form of a rump steak which when questioned was told that it was a Scotch fillet. They did refund for that meal but were adamant they were right. As for the bangers and mash well I didn't know you could mess up such a simple meal but they did. Mash was cold lumpy and tasted like packet mix. The bacon and sausage were like they had been precooked and then zapped to reheat. The app you can use to order has no mention of the $18 lunch specials so one schnitzel order cost the person $25 instead of the $18. Overall don't think I will be going back there.

Went as a small group for breakfast on Sunday. An excellent variety of hot food, pancakes, waffles and fruit and yogurt. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be a regular occurrence.

We had lunch today at the Willaston pub and the food was delicious what our guest had,I had salt pepper squid which I found to salty so did not enjoy it to much. And why did you take the garlic prawns of the menu that was our favorite.😋😋Hope you will put it back please 🙏Thanks Jantina.Merry Christmas 🎄 to you all.

This was our first time here and were there to celebrate 2 birthdays with family. A few of the family ordered through the app and received their meals quickly. The rest of us ordered at the bar. We waited an hour for our food but still nothing. We spoke with the manager and she sorted it out straight away and refunded our money. We had a good time apart from that and the staff are great.

The menu made for a great game of paper planes. The snitty was lit. The gravy was thicker than my thighs. The chicken snitty burger was filling. Overall a great meal. Second visit.

The food was served quickly after ordering. Took a few minutes to sort out the app, but that was because I have never used one before.
The food was lovely and salad bar was well stocked.
The kids loved the playground.
Meals very reasonably priced and very filling.
Overall an excellent experience

The food came out quickly, nice and hot and a great size serve.
The salad bar has plenty to choose from and the jelly & icecream was really tasty.
The staff were lovely, polite and quick to clean up when everyone was finished.
It was a kid eat free night, so there was quite a few kids. There was a table of young children running around the ramp and steps which was a bit tricky to manoeuvre around

Meals are very fresh and tasty.
Great salad and veg bar.
Kids meals arrive promptly so they aren't waiting- such a great idea.
We come here on a regular basis and always have an enjoyable time.

Lovely pub. Delicious meals, I had burger envy over the willo burger. Nice salad/veg and ice cream bar. Good reasonable prices.

I would NOT suggest you order using their me&u app. We all ordered at a similar time and it took over 40 minutes from getting the first order till the last ones. The ribs were nice, but chips are definitely not an appropriate side for them.

It was an ok experience. I had chicken schnitzel with plain gravy - the chicken was rubbery, but tasted nice; maybe they had microwaved it at some stage. Crumbs and gravy were great
Hubby had grilled fish. That was fine but not a lot of it
Chips average
Salad selection average. I liked the fruit salad and lettuce salad
The veggie options were ok
The ice-cream sundae bar was great.
It wasn't quite as good as our last visit several years ago

Instant favourite.
Between ordering and food to the table was 20 minutes IF that, fastest service ever.
Kazz's customer service skills was a solid 10 and the atmosphere for a busy place was amazing.
Without doubt will be coming back.

Great salad bar. Went there today for lunch. Meals were great. The kids loved the playground. Favourite thing was the soup and bread rolls.

Great food great service. Our food was at our table within 5 minutes of ordering. The salad, soup and veggie bar is back which is excellent, they even have an ice cream machine included with your meal but only if you eat all your lunch/dinner 😂.
Kids eat free Monday and Tuesday dinner. (1 free child’s meal with every paying adults meal)
Great sized meals with take away containers available on request.
There’s also an indoor playground for the young ones which my little boy loved. Have been here before and will come again.

Got a table luckily without a booking. Staff were nice, meal took nearly 40min. Bacon was borderline raw but burger wasn’t bad apart from that. Partner didn’t enjoy his chicken schnitzel very much. Would give it another shot.

Good kid options, great veggie and desert bar probably why it was so busy! Lovely steak. Option to order from the table with qr code. Can be noisy as open space and lots of people.

Getting too expensive for pensioners. Use to go there all the time, not any more. My budget chicken snitty tasted like it had been boiled before fried. Standard not as good as it use to be. Tried once, not going back

Friendly staff, good meals, quite busy for a week night! Did take sometime to get food out however was hot and fresh when it arrived and overall a good quality meal. Salad/veg bar has a good variety too. Playground for children is a bonus as well!

For covid safe, I can respectfully say that it's quite clean. Both schnitzels from Willaston on a Monday night were a bit disappointing from reading reviews etc. The salad bar could definitely use more fresh ingredients (lettuce tomatoes) The broccoli was well over cooked. Didn't end up enjoying anything but the self serve ice cream. Big tick for the ice cream machine 👍

First time eating here. I was not disappointed.
Very busy pub on a Sunday evening. Certainly need to book.
I ordered a blue rump. Slightly overdone, BUT the flavour made up for it, YUM! It was very tender, and it was a surprise at $28, including the salad bar, which is extensive.
Staff were lovely, they coped well with the abundance of people. The kids' meals came out very quickly, and not one complaint from them.
Well, it's worth a visit, people!

Easy to find and plenty of parking. We went on a Friday for lunch and plenty of free tables.
Had the $15 lunch special of chicken parmigiana and beef schnitzel. Plenty of food on the plate plus well stocked salad bar with additional hot vegetables.
Loved the icecream bar with jelly, fruits and toppings - all included.
Friendly staff and gaming room available.
Definitely will go again.
UPDATE January 2023 - updated the stars to reflect today's horrible experience
Please get rid of the disgusting $18 chicken schnitzel that is formed processed chicken. It's like eating rubber. Really unhappy. Three of us couldn't eat it so it went home for the dogs.

Don't judge a book by its cover! I was surprised by the Willaston Hotel.
I went here with my club for lunch.
The food was really good. The serving size was very good. Serve yourself from the salad and vegie bar. Was very surprised to see a self serve icecream machine for dessert. I even had the jelly.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Will be going back!

Classic Pub! Roast of the day, full salad bar with ice-cream machine too. By the time we got back to our table from the salad bar the mains were already on the table - super quick service. Reasonable prices and the dining hall was very family friendly and offered a playground to keep the kids entertained.

A nice looking pub. Salad & vegetable bar looks great But the food is not so good. Partner hit the roast of the day she got 3 small pieces of lamb 🐑 with a tiny bit of gravy. She said the lamb was tender but really 3 really small bits of lamb. 🐑 for the price it was not worth it at all. I got the pie 🥧 of the week it said it was a peppercorn pie. 🥧 was looking forward to it. It came out on a bed of mash potatoes 🥔. It looked ok but that was it. The so called mashed potatoes 🥔 was lumpy with large chunks of potato 🥔 in it. The pie 🥧 look burnt on top and it was dry and not pleasant at all. The meat filling was nice and tasty 😋 BUT it was to be a peppercorn pie 🥧 more like just a plain pie. 🥧 it was a massive let down. If it’s said to. E a peppercorn pie bloody make sure it is peppercorn not bloody a plain pie and not worth the price it was. First Time there and maybe the last time. 😡 oh and we ordered garlic bread and paid extra for cheese 🧀 well couldn’t taste the garlic at all it was just like cheese 🧀 on toast.

All you can eat breakfast! $23.90 but have too pay a extra 5 dollars for 2x poached or fried eggs! Customers service was terrible along with the food for the price. Use to be one of favourite pubs will not be back!

All good here… excellent mushroom soup, chicken snitzel cooked just the way I like it, great fresh salad bar… and I couldn’t do soft serve desert… 2nd thought, well maybe I can!
