About Wilsonton Hotel

Wow what an experience. Absolutely blown away with how nice it is. Great kids area, top notch service and amazing food. Will definitely be back

Went for tea.. meal wasn't as good as I expected.. maybe because it's an ALH Pub..semm to be pretty standard.

We have been here so many times and have loved the food, the experience and the amenities. We came for dinner yesterday and were very underwhelmed by the food. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, the chicken was overcooked and had no seasoning whatsoever, the croutons were so stale and chewy. I only ate half the salad because I was very hungry. My fiancé ordered the chicken schnitzel with chips and salad, the chicken was overcooked and the portion size was tiny for $24. I ordered 2 kids meals which came with a drink and ice cream, we were told that there were no spoons for their desserts so I had to grab some out of our car for them (I’m a mum, I always travel prepared) I never leave negative comments but we were very disappointed by the experience, especially after travelling from Warwick to eat at one of our favourite spots. It was freezing but our kids thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor play area. We do appreciate the kid friendly amenities, makes the experience less stressful for us parents.

We had lunch here with 15 of our family for our sons 4th birthday.
The staff were exceptional. The service was fast and we were surpirsed with birthday balloons on oir table which was lovely. The kids played on the playground and everything was so easy

Very bad experience unfortunately. Can clearly see understaffed but that is no excuse for rudeness. Management rolled eyes and would not give anyone the time of day.
Playground is horribly mouldy and is a slip hazard.

Took my family here for lunch today. Was not real impressed with the food. However after talking to one of the Managers Julie I was very impressed with her approach to fixing our experience here today. Because of how Julie took care of us we will definitely return.

Toilets were dank. The food was average, and no one knew much of what was going on, or even what a white wine was.
My kid even got punched in the face by some other kid. Can't say I'd recommend it.

Thought Id give them another chance after my last visit, when the "roast of the day" veggies were virtually raw and food was cold. MISTAKE. Stood in line for over 15 min to order the food, then expected to line up again, up the other end for a drink to accompany my meal. The price advertised on the website was $3 more at the counter, and the steak was tough as an old boot. Finally learnt my lesson: we won't be back.

This hotel is in the best location to your every need, food,groceries, chemist etc the beds and pillows are super comfy but the rest of the unit is not very nice ,the carpet stinks and is horrible badly stained ,the ceiling fans in both rooms were broken the bathroom was reasonably clean, we spoke to a lovely cleaner who's worth more money she goes above and beyond, the bar staff are exceptional, great food in bistro also cold water in fridge would be awesome and some tissues in room would be great

There may have been something going on behind the scene, it just took most of the staff quite a while to realise any of us were standing at the bar to order a drink. Not one asked if we were being looked after.

Staff didn't know the difference between white or red wine, steaks were overcooked, hollandaise sauce absolutely discusting and they forgot the kids meal which was ordered! Smoking area has no ashtrays so garden is littered with smoke butts!

Service was quick and polite, all the staff I interacted with very friendly and helpful. Food is typical pub food, substantial and hearty. Overall experience very good never really had a disappointing meal here.

Rump steak cooked perfectly. Flavour was amazing.
The Chef Suggestion of Chicken Carbanara was very tasty. My husband and I both enjoyed dining here very much.

Poor management only having 2 small bottles of maple syrup for over 100 people.
Pancakes need maple syrup not honey.
Otherwise great breKy for mothers day.

Nice clean modern pub with a home style feel, staff are all rather friendly and helpful. Food is pretty standard pub pricing and quite yummy though the chicken carbonara could do with some more seasoning and less cooking to the chicken as it was a bit dry. Otherwise a nice spot close to accommodation and other shops.

Myself and my wife did not have a reservation we had a walk in the other day on a Saturday early evening. Everything was great until just after we ordered food I went to the bathroom while my partner ordered drinks and when I got back my wife was almost in tears I was just at the last moments of the ordeal and I could not believe the foul things this bar women said to my wife.
I gave her a serve and left immediately we are not coming back to the Wilsonton hotel we were appalled all that over my partners necklace she was wearing no we do not want a refund or anything this is just a warning to anyone at the bar to avoid the lady who has bluish hair and braces absolutely disgusting...

My mum put bets on at the sports bar and the lady servicing didn’t acknowledge her, just asked for the amount abruptly and that was it. No greeting, no smile and no manners.
The bar had an overwhelming unpleasant smell when entering it.

I'm not usually one to review or one of bad words but was my first time eating here and was disappointed, got the fisherman's plate and was barely edible fish was like cardboard and everything else was saturated in oil , also NO parents room or no changing table except for the the one in the woman's bathroom , sorry but this hit different as a single dad needing the availability to change my son is a 100% need and this frustrated me to where I nearly walked out of the restaurant, however the staff and the service was top notch 👌🏿

Had a recent stay at the motel, couldn’t fault it. Accommodation was clean and tidy, very comfortable beds, all you need for a few days stay. Close to all amenities, we had lunch at the pub and it was very nice and well priced. The staff at the hotel and reception were very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

Great meals, good spacious venue, clean tables and cozy ambience. So sad to see Service is not up to the same standard. I visited 4 times (I attach 4 photos as proof) and each time the process was different. Day 1 and 2 no dramas with me walking to the counter and choosing my table. Day 3 I'm treated so rude for not waiting to be seated. Fair enough there's a sign at the entrance, but I entered through the pokies before. Day 4, rude treatment again for trying to pay for a non-alcoholic drink and a meal in the same till. Lady said "We can't do that". I felt so embarrassed that she was scolding me. When in fact previous nights I had no dramas at all paying for both! I felt like going back to my hotel and grabbing my receipts that proved otherwise. But I kept my cool, not a word came out of my mouth. Payed separate. A bit more consistency, that's all I'm asking.

Great atmosphere. But waited an hour for my meal. Ordered barramundi but it didn't look like or didn't taste like it.

Brought my young daughter out to dinner and we were served by a person with there shirt unbuttoned to his stomach. I can see most of his chest and find it disgusting and high disrespectful in a family restaurant.
Management I won't return with my daughters again. It's a real shame because the meals were good.

Been here are few times and never been disappointed, or over the moon for a pub feed. Last visit was definitely a step up, everyone at our table of eight really enjoyed there meal and everyone was served at the same time. I had the pork belly which was delicious, a couple of our party had steak, all perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
