Whole place smells like cigarettes the woman behind the bar talks like a lowlife about customer and the people there behave like Logan junkies. Sit down they congregate behind your back within seconds to talk rubbish.

What an absolute joke.
The food was discussing. Squid was raw and sent back, cheese on parmi was not melted. The pasta was so tatesless your chef must be completely useless.
The staff were so rude and tried rushing us out because we arrived at 8 and the kitchen closes at 8.30pm.
Would not return if you paid me!

Went here with the family. They have a great playground. The kids saw it and ran off without asking. It was super easy to watch them from the tables. You can sit and chat while having them in your vision. You can order from your table using your phone. So it's easy to let the kids keep playing. The kids got hot chips which were delicious. We had to get extra because they enjoyed them so much. I got the nachos. Probably the best nachos I have had in a long time.

We have called in for a bite to eat on our way home and notice a massive change with service and food (it's always been good, but today was exceptional). Photo is of hubby's steak sammidge and tasted just as good as it looked!!

Was told 50mins after ordering that one of our dishes couldn't be made and a manager would be over to speak to us. No manager ever came over though. Waited over an hour for food (even entrees) to arrive. Ordered drinks via app and had to end up going to get them ourselves. One of our dishes had pink chicken!
I understand they were short staffed as I overheard the bar chick say to a patron but the communication was horrible all the way through.
The staff who were on looked as though they had no idea what was going on.
The playground also needs attention as there are large gaps under the fence where I witnessed a young girl slip in the wet and slide straight under. With full access to the carpark!
The playground is also situated adjacent to the smokers area which seems quite stupid!
Have been here a few times now and it's safe to say we won't be back.

Was amazing last two times around June 2021: Been there twice for dinner. First time i had lasagne was amazing, second time crispy pork the crispy pork wasn't really crispy but still good. Partner had ribs on both occasions as he love the ribs there! Portions were huge enough for takeaway for the next meal 😅
Recently Aug 2022, I had to revise my rating to 3 stars as service is lacking, staff were rude and food were served all at different timings and some were so late that everyone has finished eating. Wish they still had the lasagne as that used to be really good.

Waited 40 minutes after the rest of my family had got their food and half way through their meals to be told we don’t have you meal in stock. This should of been picked up as soon as the order went thought but no it was ignored and and don’t bother to address it when it should of been address

The best pub I have found since moving to the Brisbane area 7 months ago.
The food was top-notch, beers were reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It also has an indoor and outdoor area for the kids to keep entertained as well.
I will definitely be returning soon

Made a reservation the day before , arrived no reservation made and we weren’t the only ones other’s reservation not put in the book. Food was the worst we have ever had . Not blaming staff blaming management not enough staff. Would not recommend.

Love how you get free salad bar with main meals great value for money. The staff are always nice and helpful. Easy place to take our 3 year old & baby. Would be nice to have a new menu or menu items every so often.

I was advised of a 25 minuet wait limit which is extremely reasonable. What is not reasonable is that it took 1 hour for the wrong meals to be delivered.
I am a CELIAC, so i ordered my meal without chips although it came with them covering the bottom of my meat.
When I kindly asked for this to be changed to the mash potato i ordered, the plate was taken away, then brought back a side of mash with the same plate. meaning i was unable to eat half of my ribs or the salad with my meal.
Staff also tried some of our food and so called “pepper gravy” and left in a coughing fit as it was so poorly prepared and made.
Overall an extremely disappointing experience, with half of the staff being rude despite us waiting patiently, and the food be the biggest let down of them all.

It's been a while since we visited here, but the buffet is gone and probably has been for a while. The portions were, sadly, small compared to other taverns. The prices weren't cheap, so I had assumed the meals and portions would reflect that, so I was prepared to pay up. I was disappointed.
The food, however, was tasty.

I recently had my mum’s 40th birthday celebration here and the crew were awesome!
We had a lot of traditional things happening while they were trying to serve the food and yet they knew to wait for a bit and were always coming to ask me questions about when I want the food to come out, if there was anything else I needed for the night and letting me know what they were doing next as well as time frames so that I was kept in the loop while I had so much going on!
Tiarnee, Terry and the rest of the team on that night were awesome!
Will definitely go again and recommend to anyone!

Interesting night. Food was a little different than usual, maybe a new chef. A brawl started and police attended. Staff are always amazing and friendly.

Great pub however, when it comes to food and asking to swap out some chips for vegies on a special, or the coleslaw for a salad with my meal instead… Head Chef says no Everytime which I find very disappointing. It’s the littlest thing to save wastage and they won’t even consider, what a let down. I’ve had weight loss surgery and cannot eat massive meals or certain things so it would be nice if they were accommodating a bit more. Every other place I’ve been to is happy to do that. Also, last Friday night the bottleo decided to shut an Hour early because of ‘the cold’… but it’s advertised open till 12pm. 👎🏻👎🏻 Also need some source of entertainment on a Friday or something like the place use to have. 😇

Great meal. Pork spare ribs fantastic. The eye fillet was cooked to how we like. Staff are fantastic. Sharon is so friendly. Nothing is a problem for her. All the staff are great.

Food was amazing. Large portions. Value for money. The only problem was the food was taking longer than liked to be delivered. We were a party of 22 and the food was being delivered over a 40 minute time frame for us, so some were finished while others still hadn't received theirs. Otherwise, great atmosphere.

Do yourself a favour and order the "dirty birdie". Portion sizes are great and everything seems to be reasonably priced Parmi menu is on point but if you like a medium steak maybe skip it, always seems to either be raw or charcoal no in between.
Staff are always lovely and accommodating, overall a great place for dinner.

Disappointing experience. Chose this because of the great outdoor playground but half the food was horrible and too expensive for what you get and the customer service was terrible too. No wonder it was so empty… sad.

Dirty Birdy, I asked for cheese on my parmy menu and I got refused and the chef caused a scene about this all I wanted was cheese on my parmy it's not a big ask... Over all service and food is great just don't ask for extras cause you will be denyed.

Didn't like the food much, staff were pretty ignorant when we arrived. When someone's standing at the bar and there's one staff member standing right in front of you, it's polite to say, we aren't serving here, especially when it's the first time going. That'll be a no again from me.

Chef must be vegan because I’m put off steak for life..
I didn’t know medium rare was open to interpretation but apparently in this chefs world it means cold and bleeding out all over the plate.
Returned the first one as it was literally a raw piece of flesh. The second one I ate half of because I was starving and didn’t have 3 spare hours to wait while the chef tried to remember lesson 1 of culinary school.

The staff were really professional, apologetic and offered me a free drink.
Unfortunately we won’t be back again which is a shame as it’s the closest family friendly restaurant to our home.

Came here for the first time with friends. We had a really great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were priced affordably. There is plenty of parking outside and there is also a drive through bottle shop. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Absolutely outstanding service and quality food from the kitchen !! Our beautiful young waitress Tomica was outstanding , very welcoming and although we had arrived towards the end of the night she was very accommodating in processing our last minute dinner orders .
Thank you for a beautiful meal and your fantastic service.
Definitely be back .
