Went to the woody on Friday with some mates and the place was absolutely packed! The food was great, beers were cold and the service was top notch👌🏻 special mention to Patrick, his service was second to none and made us all feel like royalty the entire night. Would go again and definitely recommend it to everyone

Well, The Woody... what can I say? We've loved you a long time. We've had our moments, good and some not so good -- like an old family friend :)
Today we visited for a beer or two to kill time, and decided to stay for lunch after a good friendly chat with the Irish girl tending bar. Thought "bugger it, why not?" Well. Can I just say they are truly out-doing themselves in the kitchen (as well)! When the guy brought out the Chorizo share plate, I immediately regretted ordering mains! So bloody good, and ample for two (not stingy on the bread YAY!) DELICIOUS all of it! We didn't even stop to imbibe more fluids haha
Next, the mains -- we both chose vego options (because, health?)... he had the Stuffed Mushroom, and I chose the Eggplant Parmy. Both... incredible.
In a week of disappointing meals out for us, this impromptu stop at The Woody has restored our faith (and wallets).
Thank you staff for an incredible lunch :)

We had heard the The Steak Sandwich was pretty good and we weren’t disappointed. It was a well crafted sandwich. A tender cut of steak with cheese melted into the onions, mixed leaf lettuce, tomato, Mayo n sauce, served with a decent portion of chips and a couple of onion rings.
Very satisfying.

Waited 90 minutes for my burger to arrive which was better than the 2 hours the friend I was dining with waited, only to have his money returned. The meal, when it finally arrived, was ok. The beer was cold.

Very delicious traditional roast! Just missing ambience in the place and also mint sauce and extra gravy 😜 staff slow to serve drinks even though it was empty. A cosier vibe with nice music would have kept us in longer than when we finished eating.

This was our first time at Woodbridge tavern.
The food was really good. The staff are wonderful! Very welcoming, nothing was too much. They’re so friendly but not in a fake way. Will definitely come back just because of the wonderful service. Keep up the great work guys

The Woodbridge I can't go past their Sirloin Roast and it was the popular choice at our table.
I've tried some other items on the menu like the Sticky Ribs and others but I find it hard to go past the roast which is sensational with a generous amount of tender meat and beautifully cooked vegetables with Yorkshire pudding topped off with amazing gravy.
I had warm Scotchy sundae for dessert which was ice cream with a bit of sticky date,cream with butterscotch sauce which I enjoyed very much considering I don't like dates but I took a gamble.
The service was great as per usual and the Woodbridge has a great atmosphere that has people of all ages coming along , look forward to going back

Since new owners, less staff. Uncomfortable sitting amongst plates with left overs in the beer garden, too long a wait to be cleared. Less staff, less great service...... employees to be more on duty, being a haven we all wish to continue enjoying. Please put more staff on to be a more enjoyable visit.

I had ribs chips & slaw YUMMMY nicest ribs I’ve had in ages, my Mrs had Thai Beef salad she Loved it, best she’s had.. Will definitely be coming back, GREAT PUB FEED

Great night out at the Woody.
Food was overall good
Ash, the waitress took great care of us all throughout the service and delivered excellent and outstanding customer service

gone down hill rapidly since change of ownership
Had the worst take away meal from here last night…I can’t fault the atmosphere here because i’ll give it that, It’s a great atmosphere… But the food.. Well it used to be enjoyable.
pork belly was tough, gamey and crackle was non existent.
also ordered a very underwhelming warm cajun chicken salad which was poorly prepared.
Both arrived cold.
That’s it from us - a local family, we will spend our hard earned money at one of the other 3 surrounding pubs.
If you’re looking at reviews to make a decision, I would look at Rose and Crowne, Stirling Arms or The Guildford Hotel before considering this.

Enjoying a lovely lunch catch-up with girlfriends in this amazing historic hotel. I had the “seniors” fish & chips while my friends ordered salmon cakes and calamari salad. Service is friendly and efficient. Food was so delicious. Servings big enough without being too much. Indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend booking a table as this venue is very popular. I believe they have live music from time to time but not at Saturday lunch.

Enjoyed the Irish pie, chips & gravey but had salad in place of peas omg y ... peas are it only, salad for the Parmi ... seriously had a great night there as been a while since back all good. Expect all meals delicious complements the the Chef so we shall try again next week shall we ...

Clearly something has changed! Quality of food has seriously declined. $42.00 steak? Cheap thin and tough, tasted like it had been frozen! Steak sandwich with meat that barely covered the toast! What has happened, you used to be a great place to be? A change of management maybe?

Came in to Woodbridge hotel for one of my first times the other week was served by a young girl Ava was such a cheerful delightful well spoken girl. She made choosing the drinks easy. Really enjoyed my time there and she had such a friendly persona. The beer garden was a great environment to sit out on and life was made easier now being able to order my drinks off the tables and be brought them promptly

Came here today for dinner and was not disappointed. Ashwani was an excellent host with a welcoming and pleasant personality and really helped us choose the best meals. Excellent customer service delivered by her..
Will definitely come back again..

Came here for my birthday and the Cajun Chicken salad was huge, probably the biggest I’ve ever had, it was really tasty.

Came down the family for dinner. The staff were amazing. One in particular was a young girl called Sophie. She was very helpful when choosing our meals, she was always smiling & very polite which is nice to see. Well done on choosing your staff members. We will be back again that’s for sure.

Best steak sandwich I have had in the burbs. Everyone else on my table got bangers and mash and loved it! The red head manager was also very nice.

Best pub in the area. Great weekly specials. Great food. Menu options that suit all of the family. Friendly staff. Enjoy Irish music night on Tuesday. Most importantly the beer is cold!

Awesome vibe was a very tasty menu but too bad the food on the menu wasn’t that pleasant as it seemed the herb loaf trash the salad was trash tasted like Licorice black not red licorice is the standard need more varieties like lemon lime better or anything other than beers and wine. Overall experience I would only come back and get a parmigiana on its own with nothing else

Another very pleasant evening at the Woodie. The food is a step up from pub grab & great service from young grooves. There is always a great band Sat night & a lovely salt if the earth crowd enjoying simple pleasures.

An absolute gem of a pub! We have visited twice now and despite being busy pub, the staff were super friendly and helpful, quick to serve us and clear our table once our meals were done. Food always came out nice and quick and was DELISH! The manager Thom was out and about with customers making sure everyone was having a great time which was lovely to see, great bloke! I have recommended this place to all my friends and family and will be back for sure - keep up the great work guys!

A great place for big pub meals and to catch up with mates. Special mention to Sue, our server, who was amazing and brought the atmosphere to us. The woody is a great place with plenty of seating and meal options.
