Would have thought that purchasing a ham and pineapple pizza for over $20 would have had more than one piece of pineapple on each slice!!! We had to look for the shaved ham, non existent and tasteless. Very disappointing, come on guys, it’s not hard to make a great pizza, don’t rip us off. Good atmosphere. Staff friendly enough.

Wonderful local bar & grill. Affordable prices, nice & yummy food/drink selections & friendly service! Highly recommended Sam as your server, she is super polite/friendly/helpful & makes every visit for my family a lovely experience!

What a wonderful place! The staff were very friendly and fun, the food was terrific (Best Parma I've had in a while) and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back.

We went here as a small family group celebrating a birthday.
Everyone commented positively on the food, even an ex-chef who said his steak was cooked perfectly.
Good gluten free options.
Staff and manager were excellent to deal with.
Good outside area if you have dogs.

We went 3 times while in the area visiting family from the UK. Friendly, warm, and inviting tavern. The food was great and beer even better. Recommend going on a friday with live music and great atmosphere.

We have just moved in to the area and we're told how good the food was here so had to check it out. It was mid week and we popped in for an early dinner and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Rump steak and the chicken schnitzel and both were delicious. In fact that chicken was the best schnitzel I've ever had. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Was in today with my wife for lunch. Pleasantly surprised. Nice pub. Lunch was spot on. Very reasonably priced.

Unfortunately we visited this establishment based on their extensive gluten free options on their menu. When ordering it was clear that the GF options were in fact all cooked in the same fryer/grill or utensils. We specifically called out the allergy and in addition ordered very plain food missing a load of ingredients but paying the same price. Staff are very unaware of what their food contains or what they are serving. We love to support local businesses but these guys put our health at risk after multiple conversations to clarify what was safe.
Both myself and my son are Coeliac and have spent the following 24 hours exceptionally unwell. If I could give no stars I would. So disappointing.

This place has one of the best Chicken Burgers j have ever tasted. Portion size great, the fries nice and crispy. I also love that they bring out the kids meals first. Family friendly with a great atmosphere. We have definitely found our new local.

The quality of food served thats cheaper than most chain taverns is outstanding. Often order the Parmi and have never gone wrong with it. $27 and you get a huge slap of chicken. My only fault is the fries tasted a little frozen but that could just be me. Happy to come again any day of the week. It was so good, I finished the whole plate. My mates steak was cooked nicely and he said he quite enjoyed it as well. Will be back for more.

The food was great. The ambiance of this restaurant is one of the best on it's locality. Luckily we were on the venue when they were serving there's chef's special menu. The head chef offered us some complimentary drinks just because we ordered the chef's special. Overall the experience on this venue was top notch. Extremely satisfying service and friendly staffs. I do recommend to visit this restaurant for some good food, even great ambiance. And also the live music on this venue was another icing on the cake.

So been here a few times. Food is good it's just the price. $78 for a frenchy parmy and a rump steak. Will go back but not for a while unfortunately.

Small place with a big heart, perfect for families to get a beer and a feed together and for a reasonable price too.
2 smoking areas, small pokies room and great northern on tap.

I went there to catch up with a friend for lunch.
Both of us ordered the classic armies. So I can't comment on anything else.
The actual chicken fillets were pretty good and a great size with plenty of sauce, cheese and ham. The accompanying salad was dry and didn't look that fresh. Lots of fresh chips.
Look, while it was all OK, there certainly wasn't much to inspire from a basic and compact menu.
While it was pretty good if you're after a large and filling parmy, I don't think there is much that would really entice me to go there over most places that are around.
But this is not limited to just Woodpeckers.

I was pleasantly surprised when my food came. The fish was very fresh, the batter was crispy & the tartar sauce tasted home made. I will definitely go back. This will become my regular 😋.
I came back on Sunday 9/6/24 with my family & we were not disappointed, all left our plates clean & again the food was great.

It’s Friday night and wanted to come down to our local pub with good food. The restaurant wasn’t super busy and we walked to the counter and asked kindly if there was a table available. The woman who served us was very rude and sneered and laughed in our faces as she says “well that’s obviously why the reserved sign is there, haha”. She did not make any effort to accommodate us at all. As locals who have been coming here for years we were very disappointed and had made us uncomfortable and unwelcome. Very disappointing.

Food was great, size of serving was perfect, pricing good, service was great, atmosphere was nicely designed except some of the toilets being in the dining room

First time going here was last week for Mothers Day breakfast. Charged $36 per person for a buffet breakfast. Which consisted of extremely average food.
Everything was just oil and slop.
For $36 I would be expecting a very big range of food and cooked exceptional as that is a ridiculous cost.
Cost us over $100 for food that would have cost us $10 and done better on a BBQ.

Everything good... Maybe best ever.
Drinks were good prices.
Steak person said steak was good and cooked as ordered, not a salad person although they said salad was yummy.
Chicken schnitzels very good.
Good sizes, good prices.

Beautiful food. Massive portions for the very affordable price. My beef schnitzel was literally as long as my arm.
We had leftovers for days. Would definitely return.
