What a hidden gem. We had a table of eight and decided to try the hotel which was brilliant. All food cooked to order, steaks exactly med-rare, chicken schnitzel tender and juicy and the barramundi delicious as the burgers, Ribs and Aranchini Balls. Thai red chicken Curry had a bite to it right to our liking.
Staff very courteous and made our evening a treat

Was very loud but it was a Saturday night. Food tasted amazing and the only thing was that food took a while. (Like KFC!)

Tuesday nights is two for one schnitzel. We love the hotel here. Staff are lovely and care. They appreciate kind words as they deal with issues regularly from complaining customers. It's always busy....and that is a testament to many of the staff who have been there for some time I'm sure of it. Some nice dishes. Nicer than some other hotels around the area.

This pub is awesome. Compliments must go to the chef. My steak was cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and nice. The pub had a great vibe about it. Well done

The service in restaurant from the lady was excellent. The food was tasty but the meat on the mixed grill was on the older side especially the lamb cutlett.

The pub has a great eating area a bit like a Beer garden I had crispy chicken breast with chat potatoes Really tasty gravy my friend had mushroom risotto Pricing was ok $29 for the chicken Again there was plenty on the plate and it was good 👍

Superb Hotel. Food fantastic, reasonably priced. Staff are amazing. Love this high class establishment. I come in from victor harbor . Don't eat any where else.!!!!

Not a bad place. A bit pricey for some of the meals.
The man who works there (Locky) is amazing! Really good customer service and experience with him! He took care of us from start to finish and even went out of his way to get my daughter some drawings.! Give that man a raise!
The steak 🥩 first time I’ve had a stone cooked steak. It was a good cut of meat and comes on a hot rock so you can cook yourself. But that’s where it ends… the salad 🥗 was small and ok. Not that many chips. The rock is so hot you have to eat your steak fast before it overcooks but that’s it it’s up to you how you cook it.
Next time I’ll be ordering a normal steak coz why go out to the pub to cook your own steak.
My wife didn’t eat the wings as they tasted horrible.
Overall.. 3 for that food. 5 for service. 4 for venue..

My daughter and I went here for mother's day. Each of the staff were lovely, friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had an exceptional experience.
The food was good, the menu fresh and vibrant, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the serving sizes were huge!
Unfortunately we were sat next to a family whose matriarch was hard of hearing, and they spoke quite loudly when talking to her, which was like something from Fawlty towers.
But that wasn't the fault of the restaurant. The tables were nicely spaced, we were placed in front of a huge window with lots of light, and our lunch was otherwise perfect.
I've added a picture of my entree sized fish and chips, which was enough for a main even after I had eaten some of it. The children's menu portions are a similar size.

I went here Friday evening around 6pm. The hotel was almost filled with the tables. We made a booking in advance. Don’t know whether it’s required or not prior to the visit.
The cocktail options are really good. They didn’t take a long time to bring our ordered food even though the place was busy in the evening. The staff is friendly too. There aren’t many parking options given it is located on the main road itself.

I have visited this place a lot of times as I work very close by. The atmosphere is great, they also have happy hour on cocktails and espresso martini which appeals to most. The food is good and I would recommend this place for a casual visit.

Great prices, great food and great atmosphere! Dined out in their outside section where we soaked up the sun over a Mojito and a Mai Tai. Ordered the salt & pepper squid, which was fresh and well seasoned, and got a mouth-watering 500g schnitzel with mushroom gravy and garlic sauce to share with a friend. The fillet was juicy and crunchy and paired flawlessly with the condiments. Safe to say the portion sizes were perfect and we left full, plus 10% off for RAA members is a cherry on top. Will definitely be coming back!

Returned for another try cooking off the hot stone. Getting the hang of it now! The meat was absolutely delicious.
Tried the cold stone desert this time too. Superb!
Staff were terrific this time round.

Good selection of beers. Nothing wrong at all with this place. The outdoor area is good. This pub suits a hot summers day in the outdoor area for sure.

Food is always great quality n well presented and tasty. Our food was delayed cause of a system ordering issue but the issue was handled really well and the manager Boyd was fantastic. Aliyah was great too.

Extremely rude staff! One of the young girls on the bar has a serious attitude. Giving us looks like we had murdered her whole family (including eye rolls) when we tried to order our food. When she opened her mouth she was nasty and slammed everything down on the counter. One of my friends asked her if she was ok, just to get a blunt response back. Our whole table didn’t go to the bar again after that just in case she would serve them. (In other words we would have spent a lot more $$ if it wasn’t for her). Her friends came in later and she was all happy until a customer came up to the bar and her whole demeanour would change - back to nasty. Food was ok, even though a meal went missing. Bar staff were serving up drinks with the pre-mix running out and didn’t like to be questioned about it. You won’t be seeing me there ever again!

Enjoyed our meals. The waitress was great when she saw that my friend accidentally knocked over the drink I just bought and she made another one and brought it straight over before we'd even finished cleaning the table

Consistently great food keeps us coming back again and again.

Cannot ask for a better city pub experience.
Clean, modern, welcoming. Many options to choose from on the menu, and the staff were fantastic. The lady at the bar was excellent, and the boy who was part of the wait staff was excellent too!! I will be back. =)

Came here for dinner lastnight!
The salt and pepper squid coating/crumbing was delicious.
Had the 200g rump on the stone grill & that was great too!
The passionfruit slushy was also delicious and the 10% discount for RAA members was also a great bonus!
Nadia in the bar was an absolute legend! A great bartender at that & such a friendly and funny lass!

at night people were bashing the walls in my hotel and it sounded like they broke the wall behind the closet never going to this hotel very sketchy and always have something to protect you at all times no matter what. spent too much money on this room, dont come here.

2 Schnitzels came out undercooked and needed to be sent back. Remainder of our Schnitzels were dry.
The food used to be excellent here but has dropped off over the last 12 months.
Disappointing given its our local.
