Wife and I had a few drinks with 5 young adults (19-24) after a great meal at Frankies Smokehouse near by. It was fine and Wife and I ubered home after a couple drinks.
Apparently the rest were advised that there were other places they could drink at in stead. They weren't being noisy or unruly. It was barely 8pm on a Saturday night. Maybe they don't like customers. There was barely a handful there when we left. We recommended the place and felt embarrassed that we did.

Went today during lunch time for Parmigiana.
It was amazing experience with food and drink.
Staffs were organized and attentive.
Went to greet young man in the kitchen he is really good at making parmigiana.
Will sure come back with family.

The Hotel on a Sunday just accused me of writing a note which was shown to me. The Sunday Manager was unfriendly and very distant. 1 - 10 = (-)11 . I will never return to this Hotel.

The dining area was dirty. I sat down anyway and it was a mistake.
The cook/chef burnt beef patties and served it anyway. It was absolutely terrible experience.

Steak was better than expected and pretty good value as well.
Who’s happily return if ever in the area again.

Steak was a good size and perfectly cooked. Although it was unseasoned, bland, and tough. Chips were too cold. Pepper sauce didn't taste good at all. The salad was simple but pretty good. I liked the dressing. The service is good. The staff are nice and the food comes out fast.

So few reviews but what a great find!!
Walking past and saw a few people and thought Yeah, I'm hungry..
Fair few things to choose but I opted for the old fav Chicken Schnitzel. I was not disappointed,, it was juicy and full of flavour with a serve of mash and veg. 👍
Grabbed some BBQ chicken wings too, yum!!
Garlic bread was actually a big roll. Fluffy fresh!
A few spirits at bar price and I was happy!!
Bottom line, they were big serves and because that tasted so good, I ate the lot... Oink Oink!

Overpriced beer - $8.60 for tooheys new in a plastic cup - 375ml
Ordered Nachos - $15 - 55 minutes to arrive after chasing up the manager and get a brunch of corn chips, sour cream a couple of kidney beans with a couple of the chips having melted cheese on them.
I won’t be heading here again as there’s plenty of other options in the area

Not great. The picture of a plated meal outside on their banner is misleading and is not of their food. Served french fries when I was expecting steak fries. The garden salad had some sort of weird mustard dressing on it. The schnitzel was borderline overcooked. Plus the gravy was cold and basically flavourless. I could make a better meal at home. Won't be returning.

I will call this place a hidden gem, the food at this place is absolutely delicious with a great atmosphere, everyone's so friendly, honestly, the best place

I have been here before for a parmy and it was more than decent so it was my intention to do it again. But it was Thursday night with burgers $5 off, so I went for the Wooly burger. The food comes quickly here and it came bursting at its seams with a wire basket of fries The burger pattie was of generous size and done medium like a steak that is still a little pinkish in the middle. What set it off was a killer tomato and onion salsa, so that whole burger was the bomb. The fries were crispy but still soft and white in the centre. Wow, $10 for a primo burger mit dem fries. I'll be doing that again, to be sure.

Had the best 250gm med/rare rump steak, 10/10. I'm a really fussy eater but was amazed at the quality of the food. I would have paid double for that. Delish, get around em folks!!!!

Great happy hour prices and specials. It is a perfect after gym feed. Also, if you are from the country and want a casual spot to feel at home. This is the pub to eat at.

Great food, I was happy to see Nepalese curry with rice in this Brisbane pub. Thank you for adding that in the menu. Kind of expensive for that but yes to the authenticity it had. I loved the chicken schnitzel with fries and salad at the side. Its quantity and quality both were nice. I will surely be there when I visit QLD next time.

Got a Chicken Schnitzel for $20, absolute garbage. Veggies I'm pretty sure were from a McCain's frozen vegies pack or something, not fresh at all. The mash was clumpy and dry, not enough butter and/or milk was used. And the Chicken Schnitzel itself was scalding hot!
Honestly this meal was probably worth $10 if I'm being generous. Go to German Club you get a Schnitty there for $27 and its bloody epic. Don't waste your money in this substandard establishment.

Food and drink were pretty decent and decently priced, but service from Anna was very bad! Rude to me and everyone I was with. Confused to see a positive review for her below, she seemed like she was going to spit in my food from the first second I spoke to her. A nice convenient location but I'll be avoiding the pub if the service is so up and down :(

Chicken schnitzel was beautiful! So tender, moist with lovely flavour! They make their own, definitely great choice.

Chef must be having a bad day! Main course of calamari was 10 small pieces along with minimal chips.
Staff member was grumpy when I complained.
The venue has a captive market but struggle with customer service and value of money for food supplied.

Cheap but not great. The Red Brick DESTROYS this place with better chips, better (non-frozen) veg, better salad and better sauces. Plus, you have to buy a drink here. At Red Brick, Sunday Monday 9.90 steaks, no drink purchase necessary.

Best pub meal I have had in decades. Great service ( bald guy ). Good COVID cleaning straight on sanitising table when customers leave. No loud annoying music. Great menu even of the fabulous 12.95 special. Can't speak highly enoughm

An easy review. We drove down from Hervey Bay today and after we had checked in and done a few other things we were dog tired & not up to venturing far from our room at the Gabba Central Apartments. Well this pub is handily located within the Gabba Apartments precinct. We really weren’t expecting much but found great food & hospitality at very reasonable prices. Special mention to Darcy who was tending the bar & waiting tables. Thank you for your kind service.
