We'll, we were in Yamba a couple of years ago & didn't know this place existed. Perfect location. Great food. Friendly staff. Good beer & wine selection. A great kids play area. All this & a courtesy bus!

This place is outstanding as a venue. Walking in you really are blown away by the view on the water and they have set this up to take advantage of this with a huge number of table along the waters edge and others with just as good a view near by. Service was outstanding and very friendly. I was only eating light and ordered the calamari. It was tasty but not fried well enough so was a but soggy hence the 3 stars for food. You can't go to Yamba without stopping here for a beer or two or three!!!

This place has the most delicious food and stunning views. The managers and staff always make every visit feel like a special occasion which is why we eat there every time we visit Yamba. Best tavern in northern NSW.

The Italian on tour has discovered a Gem here! Divine oyster selection from Australia’s Oyster coast at a fraction of Harrods Oyster bar, you can afford to order another 12! Truly delicious and accompanied by the Greek salad and Sourdough bread with olive oil it’s a must, be served with Amelia’s lovely smile you just can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!

Stopped for a cocktail on a Friday afternoon. A small choice of 4 cocktails available. Staff were polite and served me quickly. I ordered an espresso Martini, made as it should be. The view outside was rather nice, Nice enough place to visit if you're in the area.

Staff were very accommodating, when we arrived with arrived with 5 and no booking for lunch. Delicious meals. Beef burgers, fish and chips , Chicken caesar salad was a big serving. Nice clean amenities too

Overall a great night with awesome food Booked a table for 20. Our group was split over 2 tables (we were asked not to join tables as tables on deck are not allowed to be moved). Apparently normally we would have been put in the function room, however there was a function in there. Just would have been nice to have been informed of this upon booking.

Love this hidden gem! Tucked away in the back streets of Yamba we recently visited this awesome place. We waited to be seated and were given a couple of choices but chose inside as there was a playground in full use outside. We ordered a dozen Oysters, the Crispy Cauliflower and the Prawn Bruschetta to share. All the dishes were delicious and were served quickly. The Cauliflower in particular was a stand out! This place has different locations to eat at (with the most popular by the water) so if you want to avoid the noise then inside is the go. Also, the staff here are so friendly and helpful. We had a great conversation with the bar staff (which was quickly joined by a local) and had a few laughs before heading off. Definitely felt comfortable here - so much so that we will be back next time we visit Yamba!!

Lovely dinner at the Tavern! Pub-style food was good (just a little salty) reasonably priced and came out quickly. The tavern itself was very clean and had the most beautiful outlook across the River. Was great to have the kids playground also! Would highly recommend if you’re in the Yamba area.

Located in a beautiful spot on the river, with a fair amount of outdoor/river view seating The food was decent but a bit expensive, limited menu items available... The bar seating was the only space available for a solo person and the vibe inside was not overly enjoyable compared to how the outside seating appeared. Food was served quickly and the drinks were well made :)

I was staying in Yamba with my parents and family for Christmas time. We wanted something family friendly which took a booking for 12 adults and this place did not disappoint. The food was ok. It was quick and typical bistro food. If you want a family friendly place with fast food then this is the place for you to visit in Yamba. The views are great too! :)

It's one of my favourite places to visit in Yamba. Amazing at catering for everybody. Lots of space and an amazing playground. The mussels were next level. I will be back!

Inviting and open venue with a great outlook over the Clarence River. Staff were friendly and attentive. Beer and wine selection very decent with a tasty menu to enjoy. Well priced food, timely service. Great undercover outdoor kids playground for the kids to enjoy while you enjoy lunch and a drink. Would def visit again

Huge place which is well maintained and very clean. The bartender who looked after us was good for a chat and told us a few local places to go. Drinks were a bit pricey and I appreciate it was early, but it was dead and lacked atmosphere at 4pm. Overall very worthy of 4.5 stars.

Great pub for the whole family. Little tucked out of the way and perhaps hard to find by accident but on the foreshore of the Yamba River. Massive big deck and all that modern pub needs including sports bar, April tables and family dining areas. Very broad menu selection and had several people dining with us no one had any complaints whatsoever. The deck has a great view for sunset. Highly recommend if in Yamba.

Great lunch, great location! Top spot for lunch with the kids. We got a table right near the large covered play ground. Kids enjoyed playing while they waited for their lunch. Water views from most tables with the lower dining area right on the water. Lunch was fresh and tasty- no complaints from anyone about the quality and wanting of food. Noticed they have a proper wood fired pizza kitchen and they were making fresh pizza dough while we dined. Highly recommend if you are in Yamba!

Great location, food was ok, kids loved the playground apart from the big kids running around knocking over the little kids

Friendly staff and a lovely location. A little out of the way but worth the effort. Can not comment on the food as we didn't eat here, rather we enjoyed the water views, the air-conditioning and a nice cold drink. Appears to have ample parking and a bottle shop for some take home refreshments.

Food was mostly fantastic, vibe was excellent. We ordered the Beef Bang Bang salad, prawn & chorizo linguine, fish & chips. All were fabulous. The kids chicken nuggets are just those frozen dinosaur ones, which usually aren't good, but they were cooked well and my son loved them. Don't order the fried cauliflower. Had a weird batter and the sauce was so sweet I nearly couldn't eat it.

Exactly what I expected for a tavern meal. Situated right on the water, with great views. The playground for the kids is adjacent to the dining area but not fenced on that side (be careful supervising if you have munchkins prone to bolting). Staff actively encourage you to use the QR code on the table to order - but there's a significant fee to use this service. You can order near the bar and pay cash or EFT (with a surcharge for the latter, about 0.6%) - just make a mental note of your table number (there's too many tables to just point at yours!) Pricing was reasonable for the food quality, service and location. My entree was oysters with a Jalapeño and Lime mignonette - excellent, complementary flavours. My main was the 1KG pot of mussels with chilli, garlic, white wine in a tomato broth. Mussels were well cooked, with plenty of garlic. A little one dimensional with the tomato flavour overpowering everything except the garlic flavour. The supplied mini baguette was a bit of a let down being incredibly dense in texture. Service not exactly warm but not poor either. Drink pricing is reasonable.

Disappointing family dinner. Not enough staff to deliver meals to tables. Had to find our own cutlery and napkins after being seated by staff at the entrance to our table. None on our table. We had the smallest Oysters Kilpatrick we've ever had. They were the size of a teaspoon x 6 for $20 going price everywhere else but larger. Disappointing in an area that has locally caught seafood. 😕 Don't recommend & Would not return or recommend.

Best venue in Yamba, great place, great atmosphere with plenty of seating and a view to die for, also has a great covered play groumd for the little ones. The food is so fresh and tasty and the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend booking before you come as it can get super busy. Also don't forget to fees the fish. Kids will love it.

Beautiful location on the river but the interior design of the tavern is kind of boring and lacking any atmosphere. Missed opportunity as the location is great. We arrived around 7.30 pm on Friday and they have stopped to take orders for pizza due to the back log. By 9 pm the whole place was empty, we were the last clients although it closes at 10 pm. The staff were preparing to close which urges you to leave.

A very beautiful outlook right on the amazing Clarence River. Yatchs and cruisers bobbing in clean water add to the divine vista. The team are happy smiling attentive to the customers. The beers could have been a bit colder. The food, well everyone, 7 of us, enjoyed our food. We each had something different. My mussel pot was a bit overcooked but passable. Partner had market fish in a coconut sauce. He extolled the flavours and nothing overpowering other ingredients.
