We used to love going here, the food was well priced and delish! But now, service is sad and food is awful and well over priced!
Entree pork belly - gone from 3 pieces to 1 and so over cooked it is inedible
Seafood pasta- more pasta than actual dressing, to just fill the plate
And when we ask why the seniors calami has nothing in it like no calamari - we get told that it’s cheap so you get fed cheap frozen food.
Do not recommend!

We have been coming for a couple of years now, love the menu, variety, staff and food. We came Wed night. I ordered a half mexicana Parma. It was terrible, what Parma has no cheese! I got a dried piece of chicken with a teaspoon of sour cream and even less guacamole, then 3 jalapenos. I know I only paid $17 but come on, up your game, and your new menu very limited, such a shame after so many lovely meals. Another o nbe bites the dust😓

We had a family reunion here a few weeks ago with about 60 people attending & I found the venue perfect! The staff were brilliant in particular Kathy/Cathy who looked after us on the day. The meals were great & everything ran smooth. Really pleased with the day, we'll definitely be back for our next reunion in January.

The worst pizza I’ve eaten in my life! Almost all the other food appears out of a frozen packet and heated up before serving and almost all of it is fried! Drinks are pricey, $13 for a CAN of Canadian club and dry? Stay away! There are so many better venues for pub food in the Yarraville/ Footscray area.

Thank you to Teresa and wonderful staff for helping with our function over weekend. Teresa is such a lovely person with great organisation skills, then on the day, all the staff were so helpful and friendly...we had a great night 🎂🍾🥂

Ordered a vege burger and received a meat burger. The replacement vege burger was cold including the chips that were clearly not replaced.

My partner & I both ordered dishes with chips. The young waitress came to ask my partner if he wanted ketchup. She completed ignored me like I didn't exist. My partner said "yes", and I thought she will bring ketchup for the table. She got the ketchup, and put it near the table's edge on my partner's side, for him exclusively.
I was surprised, and then I looked around the venue and realised that I was the odd man out. I was the only person who is not Anglo-looking. Everyone in the venue is white Anglo. It would be illegal for them to advertise the venue as "whites only"; so I guess by making me unwelcome, they are making a point?
I then requested for ketchup; and it took a very long time for it to come out. You would think that pouring ketchup shouldn't take more than a minute. It was at least 5 minutes. Goodness knows what they put in my ketchup. I didn't use it. They later brought out my dessert, and I left it on the table without touching it. I don't trust them. The young waitress could've spat on it for all I know.
I guess I should say sorry to disturbing the racial harmony of the venue. Great place if you want an exclusively White Anglo venue to go in the multicultural Inner West of Melbourne.

Lovely service. Lovely food. Just a lovely time in general. Came in with my parents and it had a really nice vibe to it. Nice and calming but felt involved with everything. Special shout out to Alexandra for the exceptional service and chat as well. We are a bit of a talkative table.

Lovely atmosphere, food was delicious 😋 & well presented at a very reasonable price. My friends & I had a very pleasant Saturday afternoon spent there.

I've been going here for years. The place used to be great and the meals were amazing but the last 3 times I have been the food has progressively become worse. The food is either underdone or over done. Chips cooked then recooked. Frozen garlic bread now the norm replacing the once really nice foccacia garlic bread. Just really disappointing overall. The kids area is always out of order or not working. The customer service from most staff is non existent. Went there to celebrate a birthday and we were all left really unhappy with the meals. The place has gone downhill big time. Sad because it has such potential and we used to enjoy going there.

Great place, lovely view but the food not up to standard. ... lady was very helpful and gave us 2 vouchers.
My above review was 5 years ago and l can now say my wife and l love this place, especially in summer when you can sit on the front deck with a wine, good food and watch the sun set.
And the staff are super helpful and friendly.

Great meals and good atmosphere. Probably the best parmigiana in Yarraville, cooked fresh, great ingredients and cooked to perfection. Loved the vibes and witnessing chef Anuz in action and then being able to enjoy the risotto of his creation. Overall, a beautiful dining experience with top notch service by staff, will definitely come again. Highly recommend.

Great club feel, with good food, TAB and pokies which aren’t for me but they have them. Comfortable deck to sit on and watch the rinks in action. Only thing would be drinks are very expensive, like way more then other bowls clubs I go to.

Good pub style menu, runs a good trivia night on Tuesdays.
The regular menu outside of the specials is on the pricier side but I suppose that's unavoidable these days, still good staff and a good kitchen!

Friendly staff. Was a tad too hot inside. It was a cold day but heaters were on too high. We were there for our good mates post funeral goodbyes. Staff were very accommodating

Both my husband and I had Chicken Parma's , and we must say ,huge credit to the chef, it's was the best Chicken Parma we have had, will definitely go back .

AVOID UNLESS LAST RESORT. Shocked at the high ratings, must have been a much better joint several years ago. WORST food/dining experience I’ve had in years. AVOID unless you’re an old man in his 70s too senile to care.
Food: Pork roast was COLD and tasted like it was days old and came out of the fridge. Peppercorn gravy sauce had so much white pepper in it, it was inedible (and I love pepper!). Chicken parma were ok, lamb in lamb salad overcooked and dry, not fresh. Prices they are charging for this slop is criminal.
Ambiance: Cheap motel conference room (for the bistro, at least). Budget. Elvis Presley impersonator couldn’t get through a full song and kept doing mic checks.
Bathroom was clean (although freezing) and the nicest part of the whole place. Has some armchairs and is quiet.

A mic check is usually performed before the artist starts their set to ensure that the audio equipment is functioning correctly. In this case, the singer did perform a mic check before starting unless the song was check 123, which is a standard procedure. The confusion might have arisen from the fact that you vvv misunderstood the purpose of the mic check and thought the singer was already performing. You paid nothing for the singer it was Free. I was right next to the dance floor I loved it, so did the others on my table.

After several years of going here (and being a member), tonight will be our last.
Went for an evening meal, which was a bad experience from start to finish.
We queued up at the bar area, as there was someone being served in front of us. Patiently waiting to be served, someone casually jumps the queue and orders a drink (what we were trying to do). After they leave, I politely ask the lady behind the bar (Maree) why she served the person who jumped the queue first - she informed me that priority was given to the queue jumper as they were playing bowls!
I explained that we were waiting to order a meal and queried why one member would have priority over another but we were given no apology at all, she simply justified the action of the other member without hesitation. Zero care given and very rude.
After that interaction, we entered the dining area and went to order our meal. 10 minutes later, the food arrived, one meal correct and the other meal incorrect. The guy brought both meals to the table, and when he was informed that one meal was incorrect, he looked at us as if it was our fault. I asked him to take the food away and requested the food that we ordered. He left the table, rolled his eyes and went to speak to the person that had taken our order. After a brief exchange, they went to the kitchen. A further 10 minutes later, the second meal arrived, which was what we ordered.
We ordered chicken schnitzel’s (Wednesday specials). I’m not sure what has changed over the last few months (chef?) but the food has gone down hill. It used to be much better.
What should have been a nice night out was ruined by rude and seemingly inexperienced staff who frankly have next no customer service experience.
Always love to support a local business but it will be our last visit here.
