Wow what a menu and service with a smile , we decided to have dinner here on recent trip to Yass and was staying up the road.Best Chicken Kiev this side of Ukraine nice garlic sauce.

What a fantastic club from the time we entered till the time we left the staff are all so friendly.
The restaurant is amazing so much variety of food to choose from and it was so delicious 🤤 and very big serving. Will be definitely going back amazing 🤩

We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive range and quality of the dinner menu on offer. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and great value. Staff gave attentive, friendly professional service. Excellent dinner, Well done...

We arrived hungry after driving 2 hours plus from Albury. The entrance had nice star lights on which added to the winter atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the crispy Barramundi $29, it was good. I didn't check before and realised they only had potatoes to go with it, would be nicer and more balanced if they include vegies. The roast of the day $18 was plentiful and meat was tender, balanced but lacking in flavour unfortunately. The dessert was great $8.50.

Very busy Friday night when we stopped in for dinner. There is an extensive menu on offer with great daily specials. We enjoy our fish & chips & chunky steak & guinness pie. Meat raffle also on offer & plenty of TV'S showing live sports.
Only negative would be it was way to hot for us. The air-conditioned was pumping out the heat & after moving a couple of time to try & find some relief we just had to leave.
Would definitely visit again when in the area.

This is a typical country RSL club. The staff and locals are incredibly friendly. It has an enormous screen in the main bar that shows NRL games. The bistro is amazing! I highly recommend the roast beef; probably the best slow roasted beef I have ever had. All meals are enormous. Definitely worth a visit if staying in Yass.

The steaks were decent, but the salad needed some dressing. The chicken parmigiana was a bit of a miss. Kids' pasta and burgers were ok. Staff were friendly, but the service to order food was slow due to current renovations. Also, we couldn't get a table before 6 pm as everything seemed to be reserved, with patrons not arriving until 7 pm. We could have been all done by then.

The service and food was excellent :) They had a hiccup with the pagers not working so we waited for our food a bit longer than, but overall great experience. They were really apologetic but everything else made up for a small mistake :)

Superb Steak. 10/10. Visited here some years ago for the best Surf & Turf I've ever had. Returned on Sunday night with great expectations - and they were met. Just fabulous. Great service too. Thanks team.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had regarding food.
Went to the restaurant, waited to order. Then told to go the bar to order. Then on the way to the bar got accosted by some manager on a power trip.
“Take off your hat”. Then “have you signed in, it’s a club ok”. There’s no one at the sign in counter and like 5 people in the entire joint. Yeah sure it’s an RSL.
Then go through this ridiculous charade.
To go back to bar and the guy there is “I don’t know how to make food orders”. No suggestion of who can help him do his job.
I guess at that point after 30 minutes of wasted time.
I leave hungry.
Just worst. Like comically bad.

My wife and I came here for dinner, and I can highly recommend The Soldiers Club.
I had the best char grilled lamb chops ever.

Lovely cool environment on a 40C day. Beer excellently served. Food was amazing value and very tasty, we had to take a doggy bag home! I had buffalo wings (so many) and wedges and my wife had yummy bangers and mash.

I am visiting Yass - I grew up here.
My local family and I visited the club for dinner. We were all served enormous helpings - plates overflowing with food.
The effect on most of us was - we suddenly found we didn’t want to eat - faced with shear amount of food.
Food that was very boring and pretty tasteless. Why so much food?
I haven’t eaten at the club for many years - preferring a couple of other clubs in the area. Please we ask you to reduce plate quantity. I won’t be eating here again.
Disappointed.

Had the pie special and veg. Food was good drinks were reasonable price. Very accommodating staff would go again

Had a large get together lunch. About 20 people. Bar service and waiter service was fantastic and quick - the food also came out nice and quick. My daughter had the rump medium rare. Personally, I reckon it was cooked to perfection and she loved it. I had the schnitty. Wow, it was huge and delicious. Cooked really really well and the crumbed case, yuuuuum. We both had chips with Dianne and peppercorn sauce respectively. So good. My dear friend had the salmon and veggies - amazing!! It was a lovely atmosphere, the staff were great and I can only highly recommend that you go and get a feed there. A good menu range, also vegan options. Lots of easy parking around with disability and child changing amenities available. Will be back. Thanks for a great lunch!

Had a beautiful lunch meal at this club. I personally didn’t enjoy the roasted lamb meal but in total had a good time for couple of hours. Staff are providing best customer service ever.

Great place to have a beer, wine, etc & a meal. We had the Thursday rump steak special with salad & chips. You'd better be hungry to finish this delicious meal accompanied by a glass of Shiraz. Finishing off with a piece of carrot cake with ice cream, cream & berries & a good cup of coffee, we ended our day in Yass on a high. Highly recommended.

Great club, and very helpful staff great at what they do. The kitchen and kitchen staff need to improve and get there Act together over an hour wait for food isn't acceptable

Got a takeaway for dinner on our way home to Sydney. It was burnt & the greasiest, most disgusting meal I have ever had. Even the cardboard box it came in was oozing oil. Inedible "Oriental Plate"

Garlic cheese pizza was dripping in oil, and the kids nachos was a plate of crumbs topped with a spicy chunky onion and capsicum sauce
Really disappointed and being new to Yass won’t be back.

Food - Here's the photo of my burnt, dry $22 schnitzel and twice cooked chips. I tried to eat it but just couldn't. At least the veggies were fresh. The waitress was very nice and offered us a free dessert to make up for the terrible cooking.
Bar - Bar staff served me a zero alcohol beer when I asked for a Heineken. I realised when I got back to our dinner table what she had done so I went back to the bar to exchange the full beer and was told no refund. A male staff member asked her did she tell me it was non alcoholic and she just shrugged and said "nah, but I still can't refund it because it's open". Pretty poor form when we just spent eighty dollars on dinner.
We definitely won't be coming here again.

Fish chips and salad for lunch unfortunately fish was dry and over cooked chips much the same and served luke warm
Salad was just ok. Had it been up to me, I would have sent it back.

Excellent place for a beer and food, beer is clean crisp and cold. Food was delicious plentiful and excellent value, do yourself a favour and visit here.
The receptionist is also incredibly helpful and does an excellent job to help everyone and support her workplace.

Absolute waste of time. "Mexican burrito bowl" listed as a Special but the fact they feel the need to stipulate that a burrito is Mexican is probably telling. The fact that a burrito bowl has "mini tortillas" in it is just f#$@ing absurd.
I was happy to see they had a burrito bowl on the menu as it seemed like a good choice for someone that's gluten intolerant. The fact that it has "mini tortillas" should have been an easy fix but the young boy that served me seemed completely clueless about what a tortilla is and what gluten is. After he came back from asking the chef some very limited questions based on his misunderstandings I just ordered a bowl of chips.
I've been driving all afternoon and haven't eaten much. Pretty much nothing else open in Yass to get a feed after 6pm on a Monday so good luck to you if you take your chances here.

10 from 10 for both Annabelle and Michael. Our first visit passing through to Brisbane, their friendly and welcoming hospitality made us feel like we were regulars and indeed important.
Thank you to you both for making our day.
Good food and wine was equally wonderful.
